In the beginning the world was a lightless and formless place covered by a dark mist. No sound could be heard within this mist and no signs of life could be found. Despite this it was not a lifeless world like it first seemed and within this world two beings reigned supreme, these beings where in fact one and the same and where merely two halves of one immense being. This being has gained many names over the ages but in the beginning it knew itself as the aspect of the abyss and was the first greater aspect. The two halves where embodiments of the two aspects the abyss held within itself, because the abyss was an eternal being without end it held the property of eternity and this embodied the first half known as the aspect of eternity. The abyss was a ever growing all encompassing being that also held the aspect of space allowing it to flood out filling its surroundings and consuming them without end.
Because of these two aspects and their properties the abyss had enveloped the surrounding space ever since the birth of that world and it has existed there in solitude from the start. This solitude couldn’t bother the abyss though because it was all it ever knew, the abyss wasn’t an intelligent being and it only knew basic things instinctively and reacted to things by instinct. If things were ideal it would never had to adapt to anything and its world would remain dark and it would forever be alone within its own world, sadly the world it lived in would shattered by an event it could never comprehend. The abyss was assaulted by a foreign feeling on its outer form as a twisting sharp sensation rocketed through it as something new was born from its being. The abyss could never have known this but it had reached the limit the space it lived in could contain, because of its space and time properties it was growing even though it could not fit inside anymore and the parts of itself that grew into each other could not perish because it was eternal. Therefore a phenomenon it had never seen occurred and as its essence collided with itself it began to light a spark from within, this spark repeated three times while growing in strength and luminosity.
On the third spark it boomed to life filling the mist with incandescent rays that tore through the mist causing it to shutter in agony and fear, two things it had never felt before and at first it could only whirl around in a stunned state as the spark grew to maturity. This spark became the Great Aspect of Light that the world never had and its very being pushed back at the abyss as its newly born properties opposed the abyss. The Light had been born from the abyss and kept part of the aspects during its birth but it had also been born with a new aspect known as luminosity, this aspect had the property of dispelling darkness and revealing what is hidden. When the Light’s rays touched the abyss they ripped through it touching the raw materials within it causing them all to spark at once in a fashion almost as blinding as the Light’s birth. However unlike the lights birth this being was a more vibrant and aggressive color and its form was more ecstatic an impulsive, and like the light and the abyss it too was born with its progenitors properties. This being was known as the aspect of Fire and brought the properties of heat into existence, because of this the lights rays became even more agonizing to the abyss as it was lit aflame from contact with either one of the two.
The abyss managed to break out of its stunned state and instinctively attempted to envelop the two aspects to eliminate the threats they presented, but when it came close it only felt more pain and lost even more territory to the Light. When it had gained enough territory and power the light began to emit an aura of calm that would later be known as the holy element into the surrounding space. This aura became its domain and it expanded until the light filled ¾ of the space and the abyss had retreated into deepest depth of the world below. From there the abyss was so packed inside it couldn’t leave even if it wanted to and the lights rays could not puncture through the shell materials around it and the abyss concentrated essence kept it from piercing into the entrance. Seeing the abyss secured in this fashion the light began to pull back its rays leaving only its domain behind as it solidified into a gloriously incandescent sphere outshining even the Fire beside it, the Light reinforced its domain with part of its being and entered a deep slumber after instructing Fire to surround it within part of its domain. This would later be known as the creation of the sun who would later become the Aspect of Day with the Light at rest deep within slumbering till the time its power has returned or it is needed. Fire was alone in a lonely space with only a foreign world to keep it company, as fire came closer to the world the surface began to change drastically as its domain mixed with the lights domain and the abyss domain. The abyss’s domain mixed into its prison causing it to go dark and become hard and moldable, as the sun’s rays touched down it caused the prisons walls to soften becoming the earth and allowing life to be obtainable. Fire’s presence gave heat to the world allowing it to become a source of stability that would create its own heat and empower fires domain and existence, lights domain mixed with fires and made part of the world into a pyre that a life giving flame would be born from. When the flame died down new forms of life sprang from the scorched earth and the aspect of Life drifted out from them as these creations slowly covered the world growing out and increasing in numbers. These beings are the first plants and ancestors of all living things; they would expand and be changed by their environments differently and frequently always evolving.
Life’s existence also affected the abyss as its own domain was affected by life’s life giving properties and when its domain touched some of the plants they darkened in color wilting away until finally ending the cycle and introducing death to the world. Death was different from the other aspects similar in nature to only the abyss and fearing the reaction life and fire would have it huddled near the abyss using its presence as a cover for its own. The abyss was alarmed by deaths presence at first but slowly noticed similarities between the two of them and decided death was acceptable while all other things are a threat.

Life and fire communed and as a result of this interaction the first dragons where born as the lesser aspects of water, ice, and wind came into being alone with a single nameless drake that had no aspect and only had the newly born aspect of immortality and the world’s history truly began. When the abyss noticed them it realized its enemies had simply increased in number and it only had the lowly death as an ally, abyss decided it needed more assistance and attempted to recreate the sensation it felt when death was born. For the first time it actively focused its domain on the feeling of solitude death gave off and tried to reverse its eternity aspect so that instead of it giving everlasting life it would shorten life instead, death assisted by mixing its domain with the abyss and thinking of a way to easily bring out the effects of its expiration property and necessity property.
Their combined efforts gave birth to an aspect equal to death and the others and created the aspect of time and gave every being without the immortality or eternity properties an expiration date causing them to change from their original forms at birth, caused all beings below itself to suffer from hunger and other needs and to shrivel up overtime until they are weak enough for death to claim. Death took hold of its sibling and went deeper inside of abyss’s form creating the underworld where death could keep the stolen life force of the beings that died storing them down there until it could think of ways to use it. Time could let its domain flow out and effect living beings without exception, other aspects that were not of higher ranks were affected and while it could not cause them death it could make them feel the flow of time. While the three aspects where thinking of their next move the aspect of water, the aspect of ice, and the aspect of wind unleashed their domains to add to the budding world and give their elements just like their parents. Water gave her element to the plants and created great rivers and oceans to fill in the canyons and pits and her domain mixed with her brothers to create the clouds that bring the rain, Ice filled in the space that her father fire left creating ice that covered the mountains and froze parts of the ocean, Wind let his domain grow and introduced air to the plants allowing them to breathe without relying on Life to sustain them and strong winds to send their young across the globe and monsoons to water the land. These oceans reached all the way to the abyss covering it in a cold current that never stopped hiding it further from the eyes of the world.
The last sibling simply looked in awe at its siblings power and magnificence simply too amazed to even think of what it lacked. The drake did not notice the look fire was giving it as it watched its siblings show their talents to the world, when they were done they came back to receive their parents thoughts on their performances. Life was simply glad they all enjoyed themselves and returned to her and Fire was happy with how powerful his children where, but he could not forget that one was different from the others…
Noticing that the only forms of life so far are the plants he decided to give his last born a duty that would give him some form of worth, he took hold of the nameless drake’s neck and moved him closer to the land dropping him off into a forest on the other side of the world. Fire planted his hand on the drakes head and branded his mark on him, he told the drake that he could only return upon creating enough forms of life to satisfy him and never before then. In Fire’s eye’s this was the only way to make his son’s life have value similar to his siblings, he went back to the others to tell them of their next activities.
Life took notice of the drake’s disappearance and followed behind Fire hiding within the plants nearby and saw him give the drake his ultimatum and she saw the looks of fear that fire merely ignored, when fire was gone she embraced the drake and gently placed her own mark on him so that he could easily finish the task that was given to him. She asked the plants to guide him and shelter him from the sight of his siblings and father so that his siblings would not know of his fate and his father would not be able find him, this way he could work without being shamed or harassed and could return to her faster.
With a heavy heart the drake could only wander deeper into the forest before feeling weaker as time went on finally he was in the darkest part of the forest alone with only the plants for company and hungrier than he had ever been before ultimately he was forced to eat fruit growing from the trees and to try and sleep on the lowest branch. While he was doing this he was also being watched by the ever present abyss who took notice of the interactions between the drake and fire, while the abyss was not his friend it did have an agenda with fire and decided it could do something to get back at him. Focusing on its separate fragments floating in the space above the world it forced them together with the last of its power and created the Aspect of Night to watch over the drake and any who would oppose fire’s wishes.
Night’s birth partially covered the sky and with the assistance of Time she was able to moveher domain across the globe in a way that didn’t conflict with fires sun and moved fast enough to avoid lights faded rays creating the stars within the night sky. With this task complete the abyss rested and left its defense to its children, with time causing old age and death to reap the feeble, and night to watch the globe and offer shade to the world.
