Despite the mage's seemingly defenseless appearance, Ange felt occasional fluctuations in the soul energy of the skeletal horse's skull sweep over him. Of course, even without the skeletal horse's vigilance, Ange had no intention of provoking the mage. He was just a humble little skeleton, unlike the mischievous little zombies.
Blocking the passage between the two pits was also a concern for him; he was afraid that the little zombie might crawl over if it heard any noise.
The night passed in silence, and on the second day, as the wind had just subsided, the mage woke up. He vigorously rubbed his face, as if he were washing it.
After being completely refreshed, he glanced at Ange in surprise and said with a smile: "What a quiet skeleton. It's rare to see such a quiet skeleton like you. I hope you're still alive next time I come."
This is a relatively real blessing. The skeletons in this area are updated very quickly. If there are more active guys like little zombies, the update speed will be faster.
Ange was already a very quiet skeleton, but to encounter the mage. Fortunately, this mage meant no harm. If it were another predator, he would be in big trouble. Therefore, "being alive the next time" is not an easily achievable goal; it requires a stroke of good luck.
The mage climbed out of the dungeon, reattaching the skeletal horse's skull to its body. With a hiss, a blue flame spewed from the skeletal horse's nasal cavity, and it quickly stood up.
The mage led the skeletal horse a few steps, then suddenly remembered something and turned back, saying, "Oh, how rude of me! I've forgotten to introduce myself. I am Eske, a wandering merchant on the Golden Road, as well as a necromancer."
Eske gave a slight bow, nodded towards Ange, and then continued on his way down the hillside plain.
As Eske's figure receded into the distance, Ange's soul fire in his eyes flickered a few times. It was unclear what he was thinking, but he crawled out of the dungeon and began following Eske at a distance.
Eske soon noticed Ange wasn't far behind. He stopped, and Ange did as well. As Eske moved forward, Ange followed, always maintaining a distance of several dozen meters. That strange, bouncy gait was becoming similar to that of the little zombie, and inadvertently, Ange was being influenced by the little zombie's presence.
This made Eske laugh and shake his head, ignoring Ange.
After going downhill, there were more skeletons on the road. The low-level skeletons were scared away by the bone horse. The road was smooth and they came to the cave where Ange originally dug. A gray skeleton crawled out of the cave. stand up.
It was the skeleton that led people to chase Ange and the little zombies. Apparently, it discovered the advantages of the crypt, so it took possession of it.
The other skeletons were scared away by the bone horse, but this gray-bone skeleton was not frightened. It crawled to the ground, arched its body, opened its jaws, and let out the roar of its soul.
As if being disturbed, a dozen low-level skeletons crawled out one after another near the crypt.
Different from the last time he was chased, the number of Gray Skull's men was much smaller, with only a dozen left, and several of them had dents on their faces.

Ange was very suspicious that this was the handiwork of the little zombie. Since he was chased last time and received a cut on his face, the little zombie likes to smash other people's faces very much. The skeletons he dragged back several times have similar dents on his cheeks.
During this time, the little zombie has been coming and going early, could it be that they're causing trouble for gray-bone Skeleton's subordinates?
Someone intruded into their territory, which made gray-bone Skeleton very angry. He drew his bone knife and drove his subordinates to rush forward.
The Bone Horse is actually only at the White Bone level, one level lower than the gray-bone Skeleton, but its size is several times larger. In theory, the Bone Horse's strength should not be weaker than the gray-bone Skeleton.
However, the Bone Horse did not engage with the gray-bone Skeleton and simply dodged behind Eske.
Eske stood forward with empty hands and formed claw-like gestures towards the two skeletons at the front. An invisible force immediately acted between the skeletons and Eske. The soul flames of the skeletons were actually pulled out strand by strand from their skulls and gathered in the palm of his hand.
Ange was closely watching, wondering what kind of magic this was.
The soul flames were pulled out and condensed into two soul flames in Eske's palm. He quickly chanted an incantation: "×#*&%¥#@..." His voice was too soft for Ange to hear clearly.
Eske swung the two clusters of soul flames onto the ground, and in an instant, two screeching vengeful spirits burst forth from the blazing soul flames, wildly pouncing towards the gray-bone Skeleton.
The gray-bone Skeleton brandished his bone knife and struck at the vengeful spirits. The bone knife sliced right through the center of the vengeful spirits, splitting them in two, yet the vengeful spirits remained unharmed. After passing through the bone knife, they merged back into one and clung to the gray-bone Skeleton.
The gray-bone skeleton reached out and grabbed the resentful spirit. The disembodied resentful spirit was actually grabbed and pulled out.
Amidst the screams, the resentful spirit stretched out its claws and scratched crazily into the eye sockets of the gray-bone skeleton.
There is soul fire in the eye sockets. The gray-bone skeleton may be a little afraid. While turning his head to avoid the claws of the resentful spirit, he raised his other arm into a fist and punched the form of the resentful spirit one after another.
The disembodied resentful spirit screamed miserably as it was smashed, and was finally blasted by the hammer. After killing one resentful spirit, the gray-bone skeleton continued to fight with another resentful spirit.
This bought Eske enough time, as he proceeded to act swiftly. With his left hand, he reached out, and just like before, the souls of the two skeletons were forcibly pulled out, transforming into a single soul flame.
He chanted an incantation quickly and then tossed it to the ground.
The rising soul flame spread out like ripples, and upon contact with objects, it turned into two claws that firmly gripped whatever they touched in place.
These claws seemed delicate, and Ange felt that he could break free from them, but the lower-level skeletons were not as fortunate. They were securely held in place, turning into live targets.
Eske released a shadow arrow, shooting it through the eye sockets of the skeleton, shattering the soul flame within the skull. After gray-bone Skeleton had eliminated the two vengeful spirits, he discovered that all of his dozen or so underlings had turned into scattered bones on the ground.
As a lone gray-bone Skeleton, he was no match for Eske. Eske hurled a ball of black flame onto his head, causing the entire skull to ignite. When the flames dissipated, the skull remained intact, but the soul inside had completely dissipated.
The power of this gray-bone Skeleton faction was effortlessly wiped out by Eske, and it appeared that he hadn't even exerted his full strength. He hadn't even needed the Bone Horse, which could have taken on the gray-bone Skeleton one-on-one.
Eske didn't display any excitement, as if he had just completed a very simple task. He glanced back at Ang, then led the Bone Horse towards the direction of the stone pillars. Arriving at the stone pillars represented that they were not far from the spatial portal.
At the stone pillars, Eske began to manipulate them on his own. He took out several blue crystals from his pouch and embedded them in various positions on the stone pillars. Then, he solemnly knelt before the stone pillars and, with his reverence, the two pillars gradually lit up.
