Sera sucked on a honey straw looking at her game character, dead on the floor, slightly annoyed due to the amount of times this has happened to her. She looked at her camera and huffed in her head remembering she's streaming, so she sort of has to be a good sport about it. Instead of countining her pout, Sera smiles and releases her character when it comes up and looks at the time.
"Well," she says to her microphone just hovering her painted lips above the filter, "Its time to go! It's been fun this evening and hope to see everyone back! I'll be trying a new game tomorrow so I hope everyone joins me! See-yea later!"
She gives a final fake strech to show of her slim body and turns off her stream with a click of a button and watches the chat go wild and asks for her to contuine. As the subscribtion count goes up, she runs her character to the shop and purchases another token to help with her game's currency and puts it into the guild.
Well, that could've been better. Her husband posts in the game. How are we supposed to beat that boss?
She could hear someone type furiously at the keyboard and then there was one hot click and thought about the pissed off deletion of words. What flashed up instead was: We need another tank.
Snippy has left the guild.
Oh no, Sera thought, that was our guild leader.
You have been promoted to Guild Leader of the Seven Stars.
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"Oh," Sera snapped in the microphone, "Son of a.... Snippy made me GM. Why would he do that?"
"Someone has been trying to make Snippy a tank for a long time," her friend Khronos said in the microphone, "He only tanks for dungeons not raids, so we've been pushing him for tanking but he doesn't want to."
"But why make me GM?" Sera huffed? Why not her husband?
"Snippy thought you would handle the guild better," Khronos said, she could almost hear the shrug in his voice, "It was something that was a long time coming. You have been with the guild the longest other than him."
Khronos was right, Sera was one of the orginal members of the guild, but she had less of a cool head than her husband or some of the notible members of the guild. Sera hears a knock at the door and turns and sees her daughter run to her screaming there's someone at the door. Men in black and sunglasses like one of the alien movies. Everything seems to freeze, thoughts running through Sera's head as the possiblities of why there'd be men in black at her door. The best possible one is her mother died, which is unlikly since she saw her healthy eariler today.
Sera walked nervously to the door and looked through the peephole. These seemed like huge guys, like could've been line backers in the game not too long ago.
"Hello?" Sera called from the other side of the door, "May I help you?"
"Yes," One of them said. Deep intimating voice boomed through the door, "Is this the residence of Sera Huntswood?"
No point of hiding. "Yes?" She looked at her husband who had came out of another room with his gun, "How may I help you?"
"This is the CIA," The older of the two men shouted through the door, "We need to speak with you. May we come in?"
She motioned her husband to put away the gun, making a motion that the guys could've taken a bullet to the skull if they had to so it was pointless to have one. Their daughter laughed at the funny faces.
"Sure," Sera opened the door and motioned them in. "Please take your shoes off, at the door please."
