(1-1) Status Report: Parasite Android Observer #364

Thagua MB3 is monitored by Parasite Android Observer #364, whose handlers deem the planet an even greater cause of concern than previously speculated. The growth of Physical-Carnivorous Parasitic Race #236, designated as ‘Naid’ by the observer, has been grossly underestimated. ‘Naid’ has grown 36% faster in the past three months, contrary to the Maker’s Expectations.

During PAO #346’s observations, the observer’s body sustained extensive damage. Something with incredible strength tore its head off of its body, ripped its wings and broke its legs in a crude attempt to stop it from escaping. The acid slobber dripping down its fractured core-drive corroded the valuable information inside. Much of the information in its core has been lost. All its handlers could find was a short audio recording of two paladins encountering an unknown ‘Naid’:

Loud explosions go off in the background, likely due to one of the paladin’s anima. There is a scream and then a panicked voice starts shouting:

Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author's consent. Report any sightings.

Paladin-Unknown #1: Zepp! Get off! I’ve almost got it!

The second paladin screams something incoherent but is quickly cut off by a roar, not unlike the Trolls found on the world Eunia. There are more explosions until, suddenly, there is nothing but silence. Approximately thirty-six seconds later, a pained moan is heard.

Paladin-Unknown #1: Oh, goddess...Zepp...It was so big...And it kept getting stronger; I’m sorry...I’m sorry-AGK-

The unknown paladin stops speaking as a loud squishing noise is heard on the audio, likely as a result of their head being squashed. PAO #346 starts beeping quietly and then is cut off as well.

Its handlers are unsure of what occurred, unfortunately. They can only guess some sort of new evolution of the ‘Naid’ has occurred and the paladins were unable to purge it. It is a normal occurrence, one the observer’s handlers should not be concerned about.

That was the consensus until one last message was found in PAO #346’s core:

This one is unsure of how to properly explain what it has seen in the world Thagua MB3. All this one can say is that it feels...worry within its core. This one does not believe the current paladins are up to the Maker’s standards and that the parasite has gotten out of their control. It believes this world needs more. More of what? This one does not know, only that if the ‘Naid’ is not contained by this more, it will spread.

The ‘Naid’ cannot be allowed to spread.

End of status report.
