Drip. Drop. A drop of water slowly falls onto a rugged earth colored rock, while making it's way to the small stream below. However, it unlike it's pervious predecessors, will not be making it all the way to the bottom. Instead it falls on a moon silver mouse, who was gathering water from the stream while holding a tiny yellow umbrella . "Why hello there." "A pleasure to to introduce myself, my name is Duict." "Aha you probably are thinking right now, who am I saying hello to." "Why of course it's the readers of my little story." "Isn't it obvious?" "Well then, my story is short and if Narrator gets his way it will turn out long and then my author will die from lack of sleep." "I would like to inform everyone that I would not take a long time narrating." "We have so much to cover in such little time." Continuing on, the moon silver colored mouse straightened his overalls, kicked up his boots and pulled down his hat. "I know your narrating what I'm doing!" Duict shouted. " And do you have some brilliant suggestion that I have not heard of, so that our readers could well, read?" "Well, no but see what its like being watched for yourself and you'll feel how I am." Duict sighed and then decided to go, seeing he had collected enough water for now. As the rain pitted pattered on, he slowly made his way up to his dark colored log home on a hill. Of course, from a human perspective it would look like a tiny stick house on a bump in the forest." Mice weren't born to be up to six feet tall you know!" " Now that I think about it, Narrator what exactly are you? " " That is a s-e-c-r-e-t get the picture?" "U huh." "Well I would find out eventually so whatever." Duict finally reached his door, so he took out his keys to open it. "Ahh, its always good to be back home." "Now if you would excuse me, I have soup to drink." "You should probably end this early, I mean come on, it's just a short story so why would anyone care?" "I don't know, how about the fact that we leave the readers wondering what they just read, or thinking that it has no plot!" "Did it to begin with? " "The only description really here is of me." " You are a voice which I hear down here narrating everything I do and have no description whatsoever." Duict said with a smirk on his fuzzy face. "I did not have a smirk! " "Sure looked that way to me." The Narrator laughed. " Who just took over my job? " The Narrator wondered in sudden shock at someone other than him narrating. "It was me the author." "Time to wrap things up in an unsatisfactory conclusion." "But why!?" Narrator and Duict shouted together. "Alright, now slowly fade out earth, perfect." "Boss why did you decide to give your story an unsatisfactory ending?" Because I like it that way." The author said with a grin. Fin
