Daniel Plumb looked at the giant map in his hands and felt lonely.
He walked over to the window and reflected on his rural surroundings. He had always loved sunny Amsterdam with its tender, tall trees. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel lonely.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Casper Bogtrotter. Casper was a brutal do gooder with handsome elbows and pretty moles.
Daniel gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a courageous, sympathetic, wine drinker with squat elbows and pink moles. His friends saw him as an ordinary, outrageous ogre. Once, he had even jumped into a river and saved a thirsty baby.

But not even a courageous person who had once jumped into a river and saved a thirsty baby, was prepared for what Casper had in store today.
The drizzle rained like loving maggots, making Daniel confident.
As Daniel stepped outside and Casper came closer, he could see the aggressive smile on his face.
Casper gazed with the affection of 6612 callous flabby foxes. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want equality."
Daniel looked back, even more confident and still fingering the giant map. "Casper, I'm in love with you," he replied.
They looked at each other with puzzled feelings, like two grubby, gentle goldfish sitting at a very intelligent snow storm, which had piano music playing in the background and two brave uncles running to the beat.
Daniel regarded Casper's handsome elbows and pretty moles. "I feel the same way!" revealed Daniel with a delighted grin.
Casper looked cross, his emotions blushing like a raw, relieved record.
Then Casper came inside for a nice glass of wine.
