Stolen Goods

I've been wanting to write a bunch of short stories for some time now. I have plenty of ideas I'll probably never use in my fan-fic but I'd still like to share them.

I'm posting this under the title RR:Short Stories, meaning there is no particular plot or theme and anyone can add their own short stories. It is even encouraged :P

This one was posted a while back on the Jcafe forum but I didn't see the point of sharing it on the blog as well. However I have accumulated a bunch of short stories since then and I'm posting it now as this was the one that made me decide to write them.

Day 1

of the "Stolen Goods" quest.

We've come back from hunting wood sprites in the nearby forest. Tired and thirsty, we entered the local tavern and ordered a drink and a snack.

Sesil, being his usual self, flirted with the barmaid. I've never expected the harmless flirting to yield results. He may flirt all the time but it never gets him anything but a slap in the face or a drink on his shirt.

This time though, the lovely girl with her ample bosom, surprised us both when she offered him a quest.

The expression he made sent me to the floor laughing.

Anyway, it turned out to be a simple quest.

Goblins stole the poor girls panties and since they were magical panties she wanted them back.

She told us the direction the goblins ran of too and offered a very attractive reward, if we managed to bring the panties back.

Day 3

Finally we managed to find the goblin layer.

A dozen of those ugly creatures crammed themselves inside a small crack in what looked like a hundred year old tree.

We found them thanks to the rotten smell they were giving off.

Strange enough though, the closer we got to their lair the weaker the smell became.

I wanted to go in and take care of them at once but Sesil started arguing again. I still don't understand why he became a warrior if he always wants to do things sneakily.

This time I won and he walked, clearly annoyed, to the entrance of the lair. I gave him the signal that my magic was finished and he lured them out.

He managed to kill two of them before they completely surrounded him. By that time though, I finished targeting and the arcane bolts that came flying from my hand turned the goblins into shining pincushions.

Day 4

The hole in the tree was much bigger than expected but eventually we managed to find what we came for.

Their color was simple beige and they looked nothing but ordinary.

On our way back to the tavern our curiosity got the better of us and we foolishly checked the stats on the panties.

Neutralizing Panties

Armor: 0 Durability: 10/10

This simple panties were charmed by a strong mage to neutralize harmful odors.

Even the vilest of odors will become unnoticeable when this panties are put on.

It is needless to say that after returning the stolen property we turned down the reward and never returned to that tavern.

I just wish that Sesil would've learned his lesson. His my best friend but this is the first and last time I go along with his flirting...
