More Sun and Moon.

Y/N had never expected to find themselves working at a daycare, let alone with two giant animatronics as their colleagues. But here they were, standing in front of Sun and Moon, the towering 9'4 figures that would be their constant companions during their shifts.

As Y/N stepped into the daycare center for the first time, they were greeted by Sun, who practically teleported over to them with a wide grin. "HEEELLLOOO NEW FRIEND!!" Sun exclaimed, his voice booming in the small room. "I'm Sun, sunny, sunrise or sundrop! Let me show you around!"

Y/N couldn't help but chuckle at Sun's exuberance as he led them through the various play areas, explaining the daily routines and activities. Sun seemed to be everywhere at once, carrying Y/N on his shoulders or lifting them up to see something interesting.

"You don't have to carry me everywhere, Sun," Y/N said, as Sun whisked them off to the next play area. "I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I can walk on my own, you know."

Sun pouted slightly, his glowing eyes dimming in disappointment. "But I just want to make sure you're having a good time," he said softly

"Thank you, Sun," they said, patting his metallic arm gently. "I know you mean well, but I can't have you carrying me around all the time. Let's just enjoy the day together, okay?"

Sun perked back up, his smile returning in full force. "Of course, sunbeam! Let's have some fun!"

The day shift flew by in a whirlwind of games with the kids, laughter, and the occasional attempt by Sun to carry Y/N around. But as the sun began to set, it was time for Y/N to meet their night shift colleague: Moon.

Moon was a stark contrast to Sun in every way. Where Sun was bright and bubbly, Moon was calm and slightly creepy. As he silently emerged from the shadows, his red eyes fixed on Y/N with an intensity that sent shivers down their spine.

"Hello, Y/N," Moon said, his voice smooth and velvety. "I'm Moon, just don't make a mess and we'll be fine.."

Y/N tried to muster up a smile, but couldn't shake the feeling of unease that Moon's presence brought. "Nice to meet you, Moon," they said tentatively.

Moon's gaze never wavered as he followed Y/N around the darkened daycare center, his silent footsteps echoing in the silence. Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that Moon was always watching, always waiting for something to happen.

"I can sense your apprehension, Y/N," Moon said suddenly, his voice low and soothing. "But I assure you, I am not going to hurt you...".

Y/N nodded, trying to push away their fears. "I appreciate that, Moon," they said, their voice wavering slightly. "I just need some time to adjust to the night shift, that's all."

As the night wore on, Y/N found themselves opening up to Moon's calming presence, despite their initial hesitations. He may have been creepy at times, but there was something comforting about the way he watched over them as they went about their duties.

And so, Y/N settled into their new routine at the superstar daycare, with Sun's bright energy during the day and Moon's serene watchfulness at night. Despite their quirks and lack of personal space, Sun and Moon truly cared for Y/N, and Y/N cares just as much.
