Prologue
I am Lumina Rasica.
A week had passed, and it was the afternoon. I was going to the hill where Tenshi and I would always meet, and as I got up there with a smile on my face, I looked around and noticed Tenshi wasn’t around. "Where is Tenshi?" I questioned as I looked around. I walked around the tree to notice he wasn’t around there hiding, and I would stop trying. "Hmmm," I hummed in a worried tone. Maybe he’s just busy again, I said to myself as I started walking down the hill. As I walked for a few minutes, I would now be on a trail, and I jumped up to pick up an apple from a tree, and I nommed on it.
As I continued walking, I looked around and sniffed the air. "Hm, I on’t smeh hem yeht," I said as I continued chewing the apple and I swallowed it.

A few minutes passed, and I was near Tenshi’s home. I walked into the yard. As I continued walking, I looked left and right to see if Tenshi popped out anywhere, but he was still nowhere to be found. As I got closer to the house, I looked inside the window, and I saw Ria and Taren. Ria had a frustrated expression, and it seemed like Taren was trying to say something, but it was too hard to hear behind the window. Taren definitely looked worried. "Tenshi’s Mama and Papa…?" I whispered.
Ria was holding an envelope while talking to Taren, and she said, "Really? Because to me, it seems like you were talking about how big Desha’s breasts are and how you had sex with her!"
Taren shook his hands as he said, "But that was back then! Besides, I–"
"No, No, No, I don’t wanna hear a single excuse. I don’t care how long ago it was." Ria scoffed as she looked away. "To think I would be your first..." She muttered. Ria looked back at Taren. "And explain why Tenshi isn’t allowed to write letters back?"
Taren started to sweat as he had a nervous smile. "W-well, uh…" Taren would take a deep breath to calm down. "Listen, that part was a mistake I mean that he, uh…" Taren pondered.
"Well?" Ria asked with her arms crossed as she waited for Taren to continue.
Taren would scratch the back of his head, and he would snap his fingers as he looked back up at Ria. "Look, it was a common misspelling. I wrote the letter late at night, and I was tired. Look, I’ll rewrite a letter back to him to clear up the mistake, all right?"
"You better," Ria said with a menacing glare.
As Taren and Ria continued to talk, I walked to the corner of the house. "Tenshi’s room is…" As I got to the corner of the house, I noticed a tree right in front of me, and I looked up at the branch as it was close to a window. "There," I said as I smiled. I started climbing up the tree, and I had small grunts each time I climbed up. "Okay," I said as I was now on the branch that led to the nearly opened window with opened shutters.

I started crawling to the window and opened it with my hand as my tail wagged faster. "Hi, Tenshi!" I exclaimed with a big smile on my face. My smile faded. "Tenshi…?" I said as I was confused about why Tenshi wasn’t around.
I sniffed the inside of the room. "Smells like him, but not him, him." I looked down as I sighed.
I looked back up when I spotted a large crib in the corner of the room, where Tara and Sara were sleeping peacefully. “Tenshi’s baby sisters? They look cute. I want to say hi,” I said as I prepared to climb through the window. "Huh?" I questioned as I looked at the door, and I heard a click, and it was Seris coming into the room. As I noticed her, I freaked out, and I accidentally started shaking the branch and losing my grip. "Waah!" I yelped as I fell off.
"Hm?" Seris spoke as she heard the thud. She went over to the window and looked around to see where it was, but she wouldn’t look down at me. "Huh, weird." Seris closed the window fully but kept the shutters open.
I was rubbing my head, lying on the ground, dirt in my hair and on my sweater. "Ow," I said. I got up and shook my head fast to get the dirt off. I looked back up at the window. "Maybe I should ask Tenshi’s Mama and Papa." I walked to the front of the house and walked up to the porch as I was about to knock on the door. ...Maybe I should wait a little longer. Maybe Tenshi is really, really busy." I sighed. "Fine."
*I walked away from the house. "It’s so boring when Tenshi isn’t around," I said as I walked. I smiled. "No, I can wait, I can wait! I’ll go to the hill every day and wait for him to come back. Yeah!" I exclaimed as I raised my fist up with a big smile.
As I was far from the house, Taren came out of the house to the yard with his shirt off and new sword out. Taren looked at his new sword, which had a black handle, and everything else just looked silver.
Just looked like a cheap sword, and Taren sighed as he looked at it. "Why do I have to be stupid sometimes?" Taren asked himself. Taren’s face went back to a determined look as he started swinging his sword around.

A couple of minutes passed by, and I was walking on the trail to get back home, which was in the small forest. I was just humming a song as I walked, and I looked to my right as I heard something behind the tree. "Hm?" I questioned as I stood still and looked at the tree.
A man with black hair and black eyes looked familiar. It was the same man Tenshi distracted who was talking to Herrick on the night Tenshi saved me.
That man looked over at me and said with surprise. "Hey, aren’t you that demi-human?"
I looked at him with fear in my eyes. "Ahhh!" I shouted as I ran away on the trail.
The man aimed his hand at me as he took a step. "Hey, wait! Come back!"
As I kept running, I was already far gone.
He sighed. "I just wanted to know what happened."
