Part 1
Gojo Wins.
This echoed throughout the destroyed battlefield of Shinjuku.
Meanwhile, Sukuna felt surprised at this outcome. He knew there was a possibility of Gojo beating him, but he was too confident to ever see this becoming reality.
Most of my shikigami are depleted – including Mahoraga. My Cursed Energy is low. And that Hollow Purple destroyed most of my body. I let that attack slip past me… How could I make such a beginner's mistake? There is one thing that went in my favor, though.
A smirk crossed his face.
“You’re all happy now? Just a minute ago, you were shouting at that shikigami like a child!”
Gojo’s taunt didn’t phase the King of Curses.
“That was only round one. You see… Mahoraga taught me well. He taught me the perfect counter to Infinity. That’s what I really wanted this whole time.”
“Counter to Infinity?”
“After Mahoraga’s first adaptation, it began altering its own Cursed Energy to neutralize and nullify your Infinity with each attack. At first, that was something I could never utilize. I waited for it to discover another adaptation that would counter Infinity. One I could use. Mahoraga’s second adaptation didn’t send slashes flying like I do, and instead expanded the technique’s target.”
“Go on.”
“The intended target wasn’t just you, Gojo Satoru, but space, the entire world, existence itself. It targeted everything before it unleashed those slashes. Your infinity meant nothing to Mahoraga’s attacks. As long as it existed within that space – It would be torn apart. I applied that same model to my technique. A slash that cuts the world. This very attack will be the death of you!”
Gojo scratched his head in confusion.
“You don’t understand, Gojo Satoru. This second round will be a little different.”
I didn’t wanna use this, but this is my only option to keep myself alive long enough to kill him.
A crimson flame overtakes the King of Curses.
Apart from Reversed Cursed Technique, Sukuna has a method of restoring his body.
One he can only use a single time.
A method he had been intentionally suspending this whole time.
Resuming his transformation through means of incarnation.
Ryomen Sukuna was able to transform his vessel’s body into his original form from the Heian era.
His old body. He is really pulling out everything for me. Considering Sukuna used Megumi’s vessel, I’m not sure if we can get him out.
“Don’t look so surprised. That isn’t the only trick I have up my sleeve.”
From above, a large glacier of ice propels downwards. Cracks appear all throughout until the molded piece completely breaks.
Through the midst of water falling, a weapon lands into one of Sukuna’s four hands.
Similar to a single-bladed vajra, this weapon resembled a tokkosho.
The ice sorcerer… I thought she left.
Gojo takes note of the special delivery from Uraume.
The weapon given to Sukuna was made by the hands of Yorozu at the cost of her life. It was her final gift.
Kamutoke.
“Sorry to disappoint you, but I think I already completed my job.”
Gojo drops to the ground, passing out from exhaustion.
Sukuna focuses his gaze above.
That damn brat… He’s always in my way.
Yuji Itadori, Hiromi Higuruma and Hajime Kashimo drop to the ground. They shield Gojo, now ready to take on Sukuna.
“Gojo-sensei, please heal yourself. Leave it to us.”
Yuji’s words brought a sense of satisfaction to his teacher.
“You promised I was up next! Me. Not all of you.”
Kashimo was rightfully frustrated, but they knew he couldn’t handle the newly incarnated Sukuna by himself.
A white blanket covers Gojo.

Sukuna was done watching.
“Yuji, does the plan still stand?”
Higuruma looks over.
“Yeah. Let’s finish him right now!”
A spider web formation expands across the area.
It was too late for the sorcerers to react.
“Cleave: Spiderweb.”
The very ground the sorcerers were standing on got destroyed within mere seconds. Sukuna was satisfied.
From the dust, Kashimo rushed towards Sukuna, Naoi Staff in hand.
No injuries. And he’s smiling.
Sukuna appeared in front of Kashimo, knocking him back with a pulverizing strike.
Movement that fast was expected from someone like him.
Spinning his staff around, Kashimo launched himself forwards. He began to trade blows with the King of Curses.
Sukuna raised Kamutoke, striking Kashimo with a torrent of lightning.
Again, he emerged with no injuries.
A particular characteristic applied to Kashimo’s Cursed Energy kept him resistant to electricity.
Sukuna quickly took notice of this.
As he sat on top of his staff, Kashimo had a question.
“Sukuna. Did you earn the title of the strongest, or were you simply born as such?”
“Who knows? I was born unwanted and cursed, that much I can say.”
“So enlighten me. Is strength solitude? Or is the endless search for greater power simply a cross the strong must bear alone?”
Sukuna crossed his arms.
“How greedy. I’ll tell you if you can beat me.”
Upon hearing this, Kashimo gripped his staff and rushed to face Sukuna.
He slams his staff into the King of Curses’ face, following this initial attack with an electrical-imbued punch to the temple.
Skidding back, Sukuna notices the special trait applied to Hajime Kashimo’s Cursed Energy.
When he struck me… It felt like an electrical current had shocked me. That was just his Cursed Energy – It’s different.
Kashimo prepares to release Lightning Discharge, but Sukuna is already above him. Two of Sukuna’s arms slam down, shattering the ground.
Luckily, Kashimo was able to get out of the way in time.
Before he can do anything else, the King of Curses snaps his fingers, slicing Kashimo with multiple slashes.
He then kicks him into the air like a missile.
Leaping upwards, Sukuna hits Kashimo back down into the battlefield.
He’s fast!
Kashimo rises from the dirt and rubble, still smiling.
“You look like you’re having the time of your life.”
“I am. I only began helping Jujutsu High so I could face you.”
After quickly speaking, the two continue to fight.
Sukuna wanted to test how ready Hajime Kashimo really was for this fight.
Once Kashimo was far enough away, the mouth on Sukuna’s stomach began to invoke a chant.
“Scale of The Dragon, Recoil, Twin Meteors…”
Sukuna aims his hand out, as if he was forming a gun shape.
“Dodge this.”
A gigantic slash is fired out towards Kashimo, illuminating the area around them.
Formed in the ground from the attack was a black trench.
This is what he told Gojo Satoru about – A slash that bisects the world!
“You were strong, Hajime Kashimo.”
Sukuna blasts Kashimo with more lightning, but this was only a distraction to fire off another world-cutting slash.
Before he can do so, an extendable wire wraps around one of his hands.
“Go Yuji!”
Hearing Higuruma’s words, Yuji sends multiple rocks flying at Sukuna.
At the same time, a crow flies over the King of Curses’ head. He had recognized this as one of the controlled birds from Mei Mei.
Blasting everything away with Kamutoke, Sukuna pulls the wire off of his hand and blocks the incoming strike from Yuji.
Was that…?
Higuruma’s hammer comes flying down, forcing Sukuna to dodge out of the way.
“Higuruma!”
Kusakabe runs to the scene and activates Simple Domain, using it in an attempt to shield them from the incoming attack.
Multiple curved slashes fly through the air, slicing Higuruma and Kusakabe.
Even Simple Domain couldn’t fully block or protect them from the grouped up slashes.
It’s not just the brat, they’ve all leveled up their fundamentals in Cursed Energy strengthening.
That Simple Domain weakened my technique, even if not to the degree of Domain Amplification.
With Yuji, Choso, Ino, Kusakabe and Higuruma surrounding Sukuna, he stomps the ground, unleashing torrents of slashes all around him.
This seems to work, as they all fly backwards.
Why can’t we hit this guy?!
Kusakabe wondered how they would ever even come close to beating a monster like Sukuna.
Deciding to split their focus, Choso activated Convergence and Higuruma reactivated Simple Domain. If they couldn’t get close, they would have to attack him with a mix of close and long range attacks!
“Shall we have a race, brats?”
The incoming Piercing Blood appeared to be avoided by Sukuna.
He’s gone-
Choso was then impaled by two of Sukuna’s arms.
Seeing this, Ino catches Nanami’s blade in the air and lands a solid hit on one of Sukuna’s arms.
Upon contact, Nanami’s Ratio Technique is put to use, but Sukuna simply kicks Ino back.
God daaaaamn, that’s heavy!
Sukuna stomps the ground, sending Ino up into the air. Ino attempts to throw his newly acquired blade at Sukuna, but is engulfed in slashes.
“Ino!!”
Higuruma runs over to catch him.
“Focus.”
Sukuna grabs Higuruma by the back of his shirt and throws him into a nearby building.
Unsheathing his katana, Kusakabe and Yuji get close to attack the King of Curses directly.
They block the slash, but are cut across their arms.
Regardless, Kusakabe slices at Sukuna and Yuji jabs at him.
“If you want to have a chance at winning, try harder than that.”
Yuji is sent tumbling back, while Sukuna lifts Kusakabe by the foot and begins dragging him across the ground.
“Don’t let him get away, Yuji!”
Hearing Choso, Yuji chases after Sukuna, who throws Kusakabe at him.
Sukuna jumps towards the building he threw Higuruma into, slicing it into multiple pieces.
Part 2
A week before the showdown at Shinjuku, Higuruma discusses his technique with Yuji, Maki and Yuta back at Jujutsu High.
“Those cut by the Executioner's Sword will die without exception. However, the target will, without fail, be limited to the one sentenced. Judgeman can differentiate the multiple souls within an incarnated body. That was already demonstrated by Itadori.”
Higuruma pauses.
“Even if Sukuna is the one that receives the sentencing and is cut with the sword… We should be able to retrieve the sleeping Megumi Fushiguro.”
“Hey, that’s pretty handy.”
Outside, Higuruma sits alone.
This battle – Will I be able to-
“Higuruma, do you have a death wish?”
Yuji approaches from behind, shutting the door.
“Talk about out of the blue.”
“Even though you can’t use Reversed Cursed Technique, you’re taking a pivotal role in the fight against Sukuna.”
“I’m a man who has abandoned and been abandoned by the law. I’d like to be the one to punish myself in the end. It’s just as you say, I think I should play my role to its completion and die in this fight.”
Yuji could understand where he was coming from.
“I don’t know… I can’t help but wonder if you should go back. I don’t want you to die like this.”
“Don’t say such ridiculous things. I’ve become someone who can’t even look you in the eye anymore.”
Part 3
Domain Amplification… He nullified my technique.
Sukuna watched as Higuruma’s Cursed Energy was overflowing at this very moment.
Higuruma had awakened as a sorcerer in the Culling Games only a mere two months ago, yet was developing at tremendous speeds.
Sukuna was finally excited again.
Everyone who knows Higuruma says the same thing.
This guy’s a genius!
