A former art student from Kosei High. He was raised by "Ichiryusai Madarame" from at the age of 3. Throughout his years he grew being taught by him into the artistry of painting. But in reality, Madarame happens to be using him for his own profits by taking Yusuke's works and crediting it as his. While Yusuke is aware of this, He decided to keep this to himself and defend Madarame as means to keep living under a roof. This all came to an end when he first met Ann alongside Ren and Ryuji in which led him to join as a Phantom Thief and gaining the calm but fierce Persona named "Goemon." Though since then he has developed a Stockholm Syndrome and will not hesitate on anyone who speak of Madarame.

QUEEN

A former president of Shujin High's council. Makoto was known to be submissive and always "keeping her nose down". Coined as the "good-girl type of pushover.", One day, she went on to investigate the Phantom Thieves as an order from Principal Kobayakawa of Shujin. After managing to find out the true identities of the thieves thanks to Ryuji, She decided to keep it quiet and in turn ordered them to stop a mafia boss "Junya Kaneshiro" who is known for extorting Shujin students. Given the task is difficult, the Thieves have concerns about how useless she is as she did not provided any help at all. This then drove her to prove she was not, thus gaining her bike Persona "Johanna" and joining the Phantom Thieves as a way to confront Kaneshiro and to stay true to herself.

As of 2020, She is making her way to become a rookie detective of Tokyo's finest with the help of her older sister "Sae Niijima"
