It had finally reached nighttime. The moon was about to dominate the sky once again. Taking over after that perky and unforgiving sun.
Hait had never liked the sun, out of natural reasons. The cursed thing’s only purpose seemed to be showing of Hait’s sickening body.
Pale and skinny, like if he hadn’t been eating for the last 18 years. Yet he was only 17 years old. His body was at the very least not a pleasant view, but it was something that he had been forced to live with.
The night was the only thing that did help him live his life some more. At the very least let him try to live his life some more.
In the end so was even the moon against him, also showing off his sad excuse for a body.
Curse the moon’s borrowed light from the sun.
It wasn’t as bad as the sun, but it didn’t change the fact that it still was bad.
“Hait, please don’t only stand there by the window. Come here and join me in the bed.”
In the bed behind Hait so was a girl laying down. Her blond hair reminded of gold that someone had poured out in the bed.
Her face was round and was perfect enough to fit a goddess. The eyes were blue and sang in a wonderful tone for love.
She was wearing a rose-red dress that unfortunately covered her beautiful slender body. The perfect pink toned skin.
“I’m sorry, I won’t neglect you anymore Anik.”
Hait walked over to her side. He had loved the tone of her name since the first day he had heard it. The first day that she turned up in his life. The best day of his life.
Anik name sounded like all the answers to the questions that Hait ever could have to anything in his pathetic life.
She was also the only one that truly had helped him in his life, the only one that had supported him. She was all the answers to everything in his life, she was the only truth.
“Will you still protect me if things go dangerously again?”
She turned in the bed and laid her arms around him, hugging him tightly.
“Of course I will protect you.”
It was no way that he would turn her his back when things got serious. There was no chance
at all he could do something like that.
The hug she gave was cold, his poor beloved girl was cold. But who wouldn’t be that? They had after all been on the run for quite some time now. Living in the hiding from a Devil that wanted to drag her to a horrific place. Making her suffer through, God knows how much.
Hait had to protect her from that Devil. She was the only one that was there for him, so he just HAD TO protect her. Even if he had to sacrifice himself to do it, so would he be there for Anik the whole time.
The only problem was that he needed to kill the soul together with its body. Otherwise it would come back again, just like it had done many times already. So he really needed to find a way to solve that problem as soon as he could.
“Can you please sit so I can have my head in your lap?”
Hait took a good seat in the bed and leaned his back against the wall.
Anik sure loved that he sat like that so she could rest her head in his lap, especially when he did like now and comb her hair with his hand.
He didn’t really know why, but it didn’t matter since she seems to get calmer by it.
Their running seemed to be hard on his poor girl. She still had a beautiful body, but she had gotten thinner. But if course she was more of a goddess than he ever possibly could be, so it was no wonder that she got hit hard by it.
Not to mention that even he had started to feel that much of his energy was getting drained. He had felt really strong in the beginning, but was now only growing weaker and weaker.
There had to be a way for them to finish this as soon they could. Mostly for the sake of Anik. Hait could after all handle it all better than her.
“How long do you think we will be safe here?”
They were for the moment hiding in an old house that they found in the middle of the forest.
Anik had been overjoyed when they did find it, finally being able to sleep in a normal bed. But it seemed like the worries hadn’t left her yet.
Hait moved so he could give her a kiss on her head. Sadly that was the only answer he could give her since there was no way that he possibly could know. If they were lucky so couldn't the Devil or his companions find them for a few days. But that was only if they were lucky.
“Thanks. I’m so glad that I have you by my side. I feel much safer because of that.”
That was great. It could only be good that she felt safer.
Hait had never have guessed when he did meet her that he would end up protecting her from the Devil. He could never have guessed that he would be able to do it either. It had been a lot of hardship, but he had succeeded to do it. And he could never have been happier that he was by her side even now.
Anik had luckily got close to him before the Devil showed up the first time.
They had been out in a park and hiked when he turned up. Hait’s first reaction had been to protect her, which he barely remembered. Except that he remembered the Devil’s call for him as its soul left the body.
Anik had been in a deep shock after the sudden attack, even being extra careful around Hait. But it had calmed down during their time at the run and their frequent meetings with the Devil.
After the shock had calmed down so was she acting like a different person than she was before, but it didn’t bother him. She felt more honest and only made him fall deeply in love with her. She had even accepted the fact that the Devil wanted her, asking Hait to protect her until the end of the time. Sealing their promise with a kiss.
They had stayed like that for long enough, at least long enough for the moment. Hait would still like to stay like that for a while longer. But he knew that at least he had to search if there was something they could eat in the house. They needed it if they wished to survive.
“I’m sorry, my beloved. Can you please move your head so I can search the house for food?”
She didn't answer him. Just like the last day, she just laid there without making a sound or even showing any signs of that she had heard him. It wasn’t the first time and it wasn’t the last time.
Hait patted her on the head. His poor girl had to be really afraid that something would happen if he got separated from her. Which was understandable since there was no way that they could tell when the Devil would attack the next time. He could appear anytime anywhere.
“You can follow me to search for the food if you want too.”
If it was what she wanted, or rather needed to feel safer. So was that what would happen. They both needed to eat in order to survive and sooner or later win against the Devil.
But lately Anik had started this behaviour when Hait was about to search for food.
It really couldn’t go on like that, they needed to eat so they could continue their quest, moving from place to place so the Devil wouldn’t find them. It was simply a danger for them to stay in the same place for far too long.
“In that case, just let me rest for a short while before we go and searches for food.”
He hated when she started to act like that. It was a big chance that he would end up not searching for any food.
Sure he could leave on his own, but he had already done that mistake once and would never do it again. That time so had Anik been thrown into a panic-like state, started to scream and cry loud. All while she was questioning if he really wanted to save her from that thing.
Even going so far so she had asked if he had made a deal with the Devil to make her suffer more, before the Devil even got its hands at her.
Looking out the window as he patted her on the head. His pride started to ache once again just thinking back at that time.
The accuses was so far away from the truth that it could come. Hait would never do anything like that. Not against the only one that ever had stood by his side, not against the person he loved by his whole heart.
An annoying stench reached his nose.
He had been trying to take care of his hygiene during their time at the run. The same couldn’t be said about Anik. He tried to help her and remind her, but she was still neglecting it.
He had started to notice the stench for a few days ago and tried to get her to wash herself, but she still didn’t seem to care about it.
Hait tried to turn and twist the words to make it sounds less rude and horrible, which was impossible. There was no way he could make something like that sound less bad.
“Will you follow me and join me in the bathroom?”
Anik was slightly irritated but still sounded soft in her voice when she asked the question.
Sure, if that was what was necessary so could he join her in the bathroom. He could also need a shower. But most important was still that she took a shower. Anik was worthy of being a goddess, so she really couldn’t be stinking and covered in dirt.
“Taking a shower TOGETHER, washing each other's backs. We will do that, right?”
That wasn’t what he had been thinking about, not that he wouldn’t mind it. But it wasn’t the case right now.
“I would love to do that as long it´s with you.” She didn’t even wait for him to answer.
Hait felt glad about the offer she gave him. Really, REALLY happy. But at the same time he felt slightly conflicted about it.
He would love to take a shower together, just like he had loved to follow up at all the flirting she had done during their run. It would be wonderful and she was the one that suggested all the love.
But wouldn’t it still be bad if he defiled a wonderful and goddess-like person like her.
Just for her sake he accepted the suggestion. Anik really needed that shower, for her own sake. And if it was necessary that he joined her in the shower, it was nothing he could do about it for the moment. He only needed to think about how he later would do to make her do the same thing, but without defiling her by seeing her perfect body.
Hait felt he got closer and closer to defile her worse for every second they spent in the shower together. It really had been a bad decision to join her in the shower.
The shower was clearly not built for two persons to take a shower at the same time, it was far too small. So they had their body pressing against each other the whole time.
“It wouldn’t be right by me to wash your whole body.”
He needed to make her think through everything a second time. Not to mention that he really had to remind himself of that he couldn’t do anything to a perfect girl like her. He couldn’t allow himself to defile her more than he already had.
“You did agree to wash my whole body, so if you don’t. Then I might as well just leave the shower.”

Anik sounded like she really was about to leave the shower if he didn’t follow her “request”.
She pressed her slender body against him some more, indicating that she was waiting for him to washing her. He didn’t have no other choice than to wash he, did he?
Doing the horrific act he noticed that the dirt at her body was peeling off like an extra layer of skin. She really must have been in the biggest need of the shower, which made him feel more relaxed about doing this defiling act against her.
“Isn’t you forgetting my chest?”
Why, did she really needed help with that too?
It really was bad enough that he washed her off. So why did she have to ask for that too?
She really had to stop before anything bad happened.
Turning around she pressed her chest against him with a playful smile.
Everything was going the highway wrong.
“You know, I really love you Hait.”
Anik seemed to knew that it was getting harder for him to not follow his heart and hold back to not defile her. Which of course she tried to use against him.
She pressed her body against him and forced him up against the wall.
“I would like to make a vow, making you mine and only mine forever and ever.”
Anik moved her face closer to his and looked him deep into the eyes.
Even though her eyes had sunk in just like the rest of her face, so was the eyes shining out of happiness. She really wanted that, she really wanted to be with him forever and ever.
Her beauty would have been enough to make even Lucifer fall to his knees for her. So there was no chance that Hait could stand strong against it.
Hait laid in the bed with Anik in his arms.
The simple idea of making her wash herself hadn’t gone as he had thought.
The idea of simply cleaning her had ended with that he ended up defiled her, all the way to the core of her heart.
Where had it all gone wrong? He had tried to stand strong against the girl he loved, yet he had defiled her in the end. He should have been strong enough to not do that to her, why couldn’t he stand strong against her. He loves her, so he should have been protected her all to the end.
At least she looked happy, so maybe it only was him that was overreacting.
Maybe that could be what she really had wished for by whole her heart.
She had probably wanted it all the time since the start, which could explain all the flirting. Maybe he had done wrong by not falling for her earlier.
Anik seemed to be more tired than ever before, slowly and weakly pulling herself closer to him. Snuggling him.
“Don’t you ever dare to leave me.” Kissing him deeply right after the last word had rolled over her lips.
There was no way that he ever would leave her. Especially not since the Devil still was hunting her, and she couldn’t handle it. Strangely enough she could handle the companions to it by herself.
Which she already had proven once when Hait had been sleeping. By that time she played a horrible joke on him by leaving his side in the bed, killing the companion. Letting the corpse take her place beside him in the bed and laughing at him when he got panic upon waking up. It really had been a horrible joke, and he had given her a piece of his thoughts after he had calmed down.
He had wanted to punish her for that joke, but it was hard to remain angry at a beautiful girl like her. Not to mention that if he had hurt her because he was angry so would he never be able to forgive himself for doing it.
Hait hugged her tight, almost as if he tried to strangle her like a boa.
“I promise that I never will leave you.”
They were in it together and they would most probably see it to the end together, if the Devil didn’t get the upper hand and kill him.
There was a noise from another room in the house, followed by a deep inhuman voice.
“It's time to hand me the girl.”
The Devil had found them again, it had seriously found them at the worst time ever.
They were having a good time together.
“Hand me the girl or come out and play with me.”
Hait hated that voice, it only meant that they needed to flee. If it shouldn't have been that Anik was far too weak.
Hait needed to fight against it. He had to fight and kill it, somehow.
He whispered to Anik to stay in the bed and keep quiet before leaving her side and to grab his weapons.
The weapons weren’t the best and most deadly, but his knife and club had served him well so far. They had easily been able to kill both the Devil and its companions. Hopefully they could even help him killing the Devil’s soul this time.
Hait felt stronger than ever and got a good feeling about even killing its soul this time.
It had to thanks to Anik, it had to be because of their wonderful time together. It couldn’t be anything else.
Sneaking out of the room.
There was two of them, but it was clear which one that was the Devil and which one that was a mere companion. That was just perfect.
They were splitting up to search the house, which was even better. It was so much easier to take them out if they were in different rooms.
“Come out and play, boy.”
The Devil called for him, but it needed to wait. First thing first. He needed to take out the companion before he would kill the Devil. That could be what he had done wrong before.
Aiming to kill the Devil first since it was the biggest danger to Anik, leaving the companion as a second.
The companion had gone into a dark room. Almost inviting Hait to strike it dead in an instant, which of course he wouldn’t fail to do.
Taking a firmer hold of his club and simply sneak into the room behind it, holding the club high.
STRIKE!
The body of the companion falls to the ground, waiting for some more strikes to its head.
“It hurts, please let me kill you.”
It asked so politely for something that Hait never would let happen. Striking its head again, and again until it grew silent.
First one down. Without any problems at all.
Now it was time to take care of that Devil. KIlling it, killing its soul. Destroying it and set an end to his and Anik’s run.
The Devil had found the room that Anik was hiding in, standing outside the door and waiting for something. It didn’t seem to have noticed its companions death, but still seem to be waiting for Hait.
He would have liked to attack it before it got too close to Anik, but if it was waiting for him. So was it not a good idea, it could easily mean the end for him.
It seemed to have given up the thought of that Hait would attack and open the door.
A distorted and disturbing laughter echoed through the house, mixed with Anik’s terrified scream. He was so sorry that he let his beloved girl go through this, he really had to make up for it later on.
The Devil had come halfway to Anik when Hait rushes toward it.
He held the knife tight in his hand, he really had to kill both the body and the soul. There was no way he could let it survive another time. The Devil’s hunt for Anik had to get to an end this very day.
It turned around and faced him. Looking amused at him. Probably thinking that Hait had done a mistake, attacking with the usual club. But it was it that had done a mistake.
The knife got buried deep into its chest and forced to the ground by a tackle from Hait, all in a perfect pattern.
Pulling out the knife and stabbing it some more. It had to be an end. Hait had to massacre the body to kill the soul, he had to. He felt he had to.
Happiness grew inside of him, he was seriously saving Anik. They would be able to get home, living together forever and ever. He was her hero, the goddess saviour.
“Any last words before I destroy you.”
Not that he really cared, but he could as well ask while getting off its body and picking up his club. Preparing to strike its head until it only was a mess remaining.
“Please have some mercy at me. I promise that I never will attack and will even make sure that you get a rude luck in your life afterwards.”
It could only use a telepathic voice. It was in a pathetic weak state, which meant that Hait had done right to attack it as he did.
“Don’t listen to it. It’s only lying, it isn’t telling the truth. I want you to kill it, I want to be set free. I want YOU to save me.”
Anik spoke up, almost screaming at him. Didn’t she know that there was no need to scream, Hait would have killed it even if she didn’t ask for it.
“Sorry, I can’t do that. I can’t trust a thing like you, so this is when you will pay the price for trying to hunt down my beloved girl. This is the end for you.”
Hait almost didn’t even end his sentence before he let the club fall for the first time. Continued to strike its head time after time until it no longer was possible to recognize the ugly face of the Devil.
That was it, he had done it. The Devil was killed and their time at the run should be to an end.
“I really love you Hait, I do really love you.”
Still acting weak, Anik laid on the bed and praised him with her lovely voice.
“Let us take some rest before we go home. There we can live happily ever after.”
She was right. It was time for them to go home once again so they could live their lives together forever after.
----------------------------------------
At a random cafe in a random city.
“Have you heard about that murder that returned home with the corpse of his latest victim?”
A woman took a sip of her coffee as her female friend talked.
“Yes. I heard about that, the police even got the chance to take him alive.”
“Exactly. He came home with a woman body, that he according to rumours should have sexually violated.”
“You still seems to believe in rumours too much Ani.”
“But Mi… There is no chance we can know, so the closest we come to the truth is the rumours.”
“Might happen. But enough of that. We need to plan how we will reach our next destination.”
“There will be some fun on the way to, won’t it?”
Both of them gave each other a wicked smile. They sure would have so fun, until the day their way together reached an end. Within this or next life.
