"Vallentyne is on the border with Mexico. I'm sure Jacob didn't just go there for no reason," Lucia told Otis.

"Are you saying it's possible that he left the country?" Otis asked, pondering the possibility that if Jacob did leave the country. It would be even harder to track him down. Through Mexico, he can go to any country in the world.

"I haven't been convicted yet!" Spencer snapped.

"You haven't convicted just because Nia let you off the hook, but everyone knows what you did," Lucia retorted. Seeing that Spencer was red-eyed with anger at her words, she frowned and added, "And what are you doing here?"
