John walked around his underground base and tried to feel the metal walls before stopping to look at his metallic hands. He couldn’t even walk around to touch random objects when bored like he used to. He didn’t have time to cry or complain because he had work to do. John looked up the plans in his mind for a massive army buildup that would number in the tens of thousands in just the first phase. It was important that the rest of the world didn’t find out about this in from satellite imagery seeing a massive battlefield that could crack the South Pole in two and possibly cause worldwide flooding if not prevented. To just focus on the present he needed Apollo to come to him so John could give him the first set of commands on how to save the world and perhaps keep the peace between robotics. John now wondered what the rest of the robotics were doing , Crash was up to something dangerous . Shell was digging holes as usual looking for the ultimate protection . And Web as probably doing something idiotic related to spiders as he was originally designed as a debugger but took that title literally and now wants to rid the world of all parasites. Even if it means global domination and the subjugation of billions to make sure all insects are killed , even though that would collapse countless ecosystems. But John doubted Web would be a major threat yet and would just build yet another failed spider based drone.
Web looked at his massive army of prototype spider drones to take over the world and rid it of all the filthy bugs, but he needed a test run to see just how strong a singular drone is on its own and decided to use it on the small party accompanying Apollo on the other side of the South Pole thirty minutes earlier but hadn’t heard back from it . “ ms. charlotte , where is arachnid -1 and why hasn’t he returned back yet?!” Proclaimed Web right as another robotic shaped like a spider crawled up to him on the massive web structure that surrounded the entire base and gave him the after action report. “ failure, how is this possible, arachnid-1 was supposed to be indestructible, this Apollo was only made several hours again and yet he won. Impossible, this must be some trick from John the abomination.”

thirty minutes earlier….
a four foot tall spider quickly crawled across the surface of the South Pole and began to focus on Apollo and his small party , quickly shooting miniature rockets at one of the tank presets and dispatching it quickly. Apollo saw this and without thinking he quickly grabbed a gun from one of the basic soldier presets and began firing at what he saw as potential weak points in the spiders armor . The spider robotic had speed but lacked In armor. Apollo made quick work of its legs and also decided to shatter its camera and ripped open its top similar to a trunk and take out its tracker device , but decided to keep the drone “alive” to bring back to John . Apollo assumed his matrix was filled with all known combat techniques to make him the ultimate soldier . He felt like he was a backseat driver while in that fight and someone else had taken over but he felt happy to have survive his first attack and began to continue his trek towards John with a present.
