Kai kept searching for Rai everywhere, he kept calling her name, but still, there was no response. After hours of walking and searching, Kai saw a girl's back from far, sitting in front of the waterfall.
As Kai's eyes locked onto the girl's figure, his heart skipped a beat. The familiar curve of her shoulders, the cascade of dark hair down her back... it had to be Rai. With renewed hope, Kai quickened his pace, his voice calling out to her once more. "Rai! Rai, is that you?" But as he drew closer, the girl remained still, her back to him, her presence shrouded in an unsettling silence.
He went closer to the girl and saw Rai sitting there blankly, like she had become a statue. He called out to her, "Rai!" but she was not responding. Then, he went even closer and touched her, his hand gently brushing against her shoulder. Slowly, she began to gain consciousness, her eyes fluttering open like the petals of a flower.
As Rai's gaze met Kai's, he saw a flicker of recognition, followed by a wave of confusion and disorientation. "K-Kai?" she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. Kai's heart swelled with relief, and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close as he whispered, "I'm here, Rai. I'm here."
Rai pushed him away, her eyes blazing with a mixture of anger and hurt. "Stay away from me!" she spat, her voice trembling with emotion. "I don't want to talk to a liar!" She took a step back, her gaze piercing through Kai like a dagger. "You lied to me, Kai. You lied about everything. I don't even know who you are anymore."
Kai's face crumpled in despair as he realized the depth of Rai's pain and betrayal. He took a step forward, his hands outstretched in a plea for forgiveness. "Rai, please... just listen to me. I can explain everything..." But Rai's expression only hardened, her eyes flashing with a warning: don't come any closer.
"Ok, I'll not come closer, ok? But just listen to me. Yes, I'm agreeing that I lied to you, but I lied to you because I didn't want you to be disappointed in me. I already made so many people disappointed. I'm really sorry. The truth is, I didn't have any accident. I tried to kill myself." Upon hearing this, Rai's eyes got wide.
Rai's eyes widened in shock, her face pale as she stumbled backward, as if she'd been physically struck. "You... you tried to kill yourself?" she whispered, her voice barely audible. Kai nodded, his eyes brimming with tears as he took a deep breath and continued, "I couldn't bear the negativity and hatred around me, Rai. I felt like I'd lost myself, and I didn't see a way out. But then... then I met you, and you made me feel like I was worth something again."
Rai's expression was a mix of horror, sadness, and confusion, her eyes searching Kai's face as if trying to understand the depths of his pain. She took another step back, her hand reaching out behind her, as if searching for something to hold onto. "Why... why didn't you tell me?" she stammered, her voice cracking with emotion.
She went close to him, stood on her toes to reach his face, and took it in her hands, saying, "I know, Kai, you went through a lot, but always remember there's everyone beside you, your friends, your family, your fans, and me. I'm here with you, so no need to worry. We'll go through everything together, okay? We'll be back to our world too. Don't worry, just don't do this kind of thing again, huh?"
Kai's eyes welled up with tears as he felt Rai's gentle touch on his face. Her words, filled with compassion and understanding, pierced through the darkness that had been suffocating him. He felt a weight lift off his shoulders as he gazed into Rai's eyes, seeing the sincerity and love shining back at him.

"Thank you, Rai," Kai whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "Just knowing that you're here with me makes everything bearable. I promise, I'll never try to hurt myself again. I'll be strong, for you, for our friends, for our family... for everyone who cares about me."
Rai's face broke into a soft smile as she nodded, her eyes sparkling with tears. "I'll be here to remind you, always," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We'll face everything together, okay?"
Then that angel appeared in front of them again, smiling at them. "So, finally, everything is out. Now I can tell you guys the reason why you're here. So, the thing is, you guys are soulmates. As I said before, your faith is written together. Kai took an abrupt decision, so the heaven gave him a chance to change his decision. And in this journey, he needs your help, Katherine. That's why heaven brought you here. The heart attack and your coma, everything is for this. So, you guys have to work together and stay together. And one more thing, don't go far from each other. Kai, I'm telling you, Rai's here for you, so you have to stay close to her. You were not together, that's why she became a statue."
Kai's eyes widened in shock as he processed the angel's words. He looked at Rai, his heart filled with gratitude and love. "So, it was all meant to be?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
The angel nodded, smiling. "Yes, it was all meant to be. You two are meant to be together, and your journey is just beginning. You have to face many challenges ahead, but with each other's help, you'll overcome them."
Rai took Kai's hand, her eyes shining with tears. "We'll face everything together," she said, her voice filled with determination.
Kai smiled, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. "Yes, we'll" he whispered, his eyes locked on Rai's.
The angel's smile grew wider. "Now, it's time for your tasks to begin. You'll be going to the real world, but nobody can see you except ghosts. Don't be afraid of them; they're the ones you'll be working for. As you both know, ghosts can't go everywhere, but you can, because you're not ghosts, but souls. You'll fulfill their last wishes."
Kai and Rai exchanged a nervous glance. This was going to be a tough journey.
The angel continued, "You can be in Thailand or India, or anywhere else, because nobody will know where you are or when you'll stay. Be prepared for many obstacles while doing your tasks, but you must complete everything."
Rai took a deep breath, her eyes sparkling with determination. "We'll do it," she said, her voice firm.
Kai nodded in agreement. "We'll face everything together."
The angel smiled again. "I know you will. And during this journey, you'll learn many more things about yourselves and each other."
Katherine looked at the angel, her eyes searching. "Is there still any hidden truth left?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
The angel smiled mischievously. "It's just the beginning. There's much more for you to know. Obviously, there's a reason why your fates are together, so for knowing that, you'll have to be patient."
Kai and Rai exchanged a curious glance. What other secrets lay hidden? They were ready to face whatever came next, as long as they were together.
Then, a strange window opened in front of them, and the angel asked them to go through it. They held each other's hands and stepped inside the window. A strong light began to fill everywhere, and then they found themselves in a place they didn't recognize. They tried to understand where they were.
Suddenly, Kai heard someone calling his name. He turned back and saw that they were in his room. His motionless body lay on the bed, and his mom and sister sat beside him. A drop of tears fell from Kai's eyes.
Rai saw that and patted Kai's back. "Don't worry, Kai. Just a few more days, and you'll see them smiling again. Don't worry, okay?" Kai removed his tears and nodded.
Then, they came out of the room and started thinking about why they were there. Was this where they would get their first task? But which ghost could be here?
They kept roaming around the whole house. Kai showed Rai everything, and they went to a room that was locked. But they were able to go through the door.
As they entered the room, Rai's eyes widened in surprise. The room was filled with memories and mementos. Kai's eyes misted as he looked around the room.
Suddenly, Kai's gaze shifted toward the balcony. He saw someone standing there, and his mind wondered, who could be here? The door was locked, too.
Kai's curiosity got the better of him, and he walked toward the balcony with Rai by his side. As they approached the figure, it slowly turned toward them.
