Jasper woke up in some kind of hospital, his mind filled with confusion. "What's happening? Where am I?" he murmured to himself.
A nurse entered the room and noticed he was awake. "Oh, you're finally awake! How are you feeling?" she asked kindly.
"I don't know. I'm completely confused. Where am I?" he asked again.
The nurse smiled sympathetically. "You're in the hospital, honey. They found you unconscious on the street and brought you here. Do you remember anything?"
Jasper shook his head. "No, I don't remember anything. Until recently, I thought I was dead," he replied.
The nurse seemed surprised. "Dead? What do you mean?"
Jasper hesitated for a moment before continuing. "I remember being sucked into a strange hole, and then nothing. I have no idea how much time has passed. It felt like hours or even days," he recounted.
The nurse listened with concern, her face reflecting her worry. "That sounds really strange. I think you should rest now, and we'll see if we can get a doctor to come and talk to you," she suggested, gently stroking his hand.
Once the nurse left the room, Jasper caught a strong smell in the air. "What's that smell?" he thought aloud.
Suddenly, a man appeared at the door of the room. "Hey, you're finally awake! I thought you were dead," he said as he approached Jasper's bed. "I'm Tom, the one who found you. You were lying in a pool of blood, but I managed to bring you here in time."
As Tom approached, Jasper noticed an unmistakable smell of alcohol emanating from him. The strong aroma filled his senses. It was evident that this man had been drinking.
Jasper pushed that thought aside and looked at Tom incredulously. "I don't understand. Do you know how I ended up like this?"
Tom shrugged. "I don't know, buddy. But you're lucky to be alive. It must have been an angel who protected you," he said with a smile.
Jasper lay back on the bed, feeling overwhelmed. He had so many questions and no answers. All he knew was that he was alive, and that was enough for now. As he tried to sit up, he felt a sudden surge of energy coursing through his body. His arms and legs felt stronger than ever.
Tom noticed the surprise on Jasper's face and asked, "Are you okay? Do you need anything? I can see you're a bit nervous."
"Could you give me a mirror?" Jasper requested.
Tom observed him for a few minutes before handing him a mirror. Jasper was astonished to see his reflection. His body looked completely different. His muscles had grown, and he felt more powerful than ever.
Josep's reaction left Tom momentarily speechless. He broke the silence. "I'll go get the doctor."
As they waited for the doctor to arrive, Jasper couldn't shake the question of what had happened to him. When the doctor finally appeared, Jasper was restless.
"How are you feeling?" the doctor asked in a calm voice.
"I have no idea how I ended up like this," Jasper replied, desperately seeking answers.
The doctor examined him carefully and said, "It seems like you've experienced significant blood loss, but your body has managed to recover. You'll need to rest for a while and allow your system to adapt to the changes."
Jasper was confused. "But my body looks completely different. How is that possible?"
"It's not uncommon for people who have suffered severe blood loss to experience muscle development and other changes once they begin to recover," the doctor explained seriously.
Although the doctor's words attempted to dispel his doubts, Jasper was still not convinced.
The doctor looked at him intently. "You need to rest and let your body recover. We will investigate what happened once you're in better condition."
Jasper reluctantly agreed to rest. He couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right.
"Wait! Before you go, could you tell me where exactly we are? This place feels strange to me," Jasper anxiously asked the doctor.
The doctor turned around and replied, "You're in BoomTown, one of the six cities of the Great West."
--------------------------------------------------
Jasper's mind filled with questions. BoomTown... It didn't sound familiar at all. Everything seemed strange and unknown.
As he immersed himself in his thoughts, a delightful aroma reached his nostrils. Jasper took a deep breath, trying to identify the smell. The nurse noticed his distraction and decided to break the silence.
"I hope you like what we've prepared. It's toast with honey, bacon, cheese, and a glass of milk," the nurse said with a smile.

Tears filled Jasper's eyes as he couldn't believe what he was witnessing. Taking a bite of the toast, he noticed it was soft and fresh, very different from the stale bread he was used to.
He then tasted the bacon, a food he had never seen before. "What will it taste like?" Jasper wondered. As he took a bite, he was paralyzed with pleasure. It was the most delicious thing he had ever tasted in his life.
Jasper savored each bite slowly, trying to hold back tears of joy. "This is wonderful! I never imagined such food could exist. I wish my sister were here," he thought sadly, remembering his beloved sister. A feeling of melancholy washed over him for a few seconds.
"You seem to be doing better," Tom commented as he entered the room, wearing a wide smile but noticing the slight shadow of sadness on Jasper's face.
Jasper looked up and nodded, trying to overcome his thoughts.
"I'm glad you're enjoying the food. It seems to be agreeing with you," Tom continued, sensing the improvement in Jasper's mood.
Jasper attempted a smile, grateful for Tom's concern. Although there were still questions in his mind, the food and Tom's kind gesture helped him feel a little better in this strange place.
As he felt more energetic, Jasper was able to observe Tom in greater detail. His messy black hair and unkempt beard gave him a rugged and wild look, but at the same time, they reflected a kind of rustic charm. Tom's clothing, with its reminiscent style of the old West cowboys, evoked memories in Jasper of the books he had read about adventures in the Wild West, making him feel even more out of place in this strange town.
Jasper looked at Tom, somewhat hesitant, and finally decided to break the silence. "Tom, do you know when I'll be able to leave here?"
Tom scratched his beard, thoughtful, and replied, "The doctor mentioned that you should be ready to leave in a few days. But for now, it's important that you rest and regain your strength properly."
Jasper nodded, although impatience began to stir within him. He wanted to explore and discover everything BoomTown had to offer.
Noticing Jasper's restlessness, Tom offered an idea. "While you're here, I could show you around the town. BoomTown may seem strange at first, but it's actually a quite welcoming place once you get familiar with it."
Jasper looked at Tom with some uncertainty. He had never been an adventurous person or explored new places, but he felt a latent curiosity toward this strange town and its people.
"Alright," said Jasper finally, feeling a small spark of excitement at the prospect of discovering a new environment and diving into new experiences.
As the days passed, Jasper eagerly longed for his release. He looked out the window of his room as the city lights lit up one by one, creating a captivating glow. The anticipation of exploring the city with his renewed vitality consumed him, and he longed to indulge in all the culinary delights he had dreamt of.
However, amidst his excitement, a slight sense of disbelief crept into Jasper. He observed the tranquil calm of the town and wondered if everything was too good to be true. He felt a mix of emotions, a cocktail of enthusiasm and skepticism, as he prepared to embark on a new chapter of his life in BoomTown.
This new city was completely different from any place Jasper had ever known. His hometown had been a constant tumult of deafening machinery and desperate cries from those struggling to survive. However, here, in this peaceful and quiet place, everything was different.
Silence enveloped the cobblestone streets, interrupted only by the soft whispers of pedestrians' footsteps, as if they were floating above the ground. There were no blaring sirens or noisy engines to disturb the peace. The air was infused with serenity, a balm for Jasper's weary soul.
As his mind was carried away by the silence surrounding him, weariness began to overtake his body until he finally fell into a deep sleep.
In his dreams, Jasper found himself on a beautiful and vibrant street. As he strolled, he encountered people as peculiar as the city itself. Men and women wore extravagant and colorful clothing, each with their unique style. There was a woman with a white hat adorned with exotic flowers that seemed to shimmer with impossible colors, and a man with a long emerald green cloak that moved gracefully with each step. The faces of the people reflected serenity and calmness, as if they had found a sanctuary amidst the chaos of the outside world.
Continuing his path, Jasper arrived at a small square where a fountain danced gracefully. The sound of water springing and cascading created a soft and refreshing melody that filled the air. Around the fountain, stone benches invited people to sit in silence, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere while contemplating the constant flow of water.
The architecture of the buildings was also notably different. Their facades were adorned with intricate details, and the carved windows allowed soft light to filter inside. Jasper could see lace curtains fluttering in the wind, adding a touch of delicacy and beauty to each window.
However, the contrast between beauty and chaos became evident when dark clouds loomed over the city, and a deafening roar echoed through the streets. In the blink of an eye, the scenery changed drastically. The city, which had once seemed dreamlike, turned into a nightmare. The streets, once filled with joy and vitality, became a chaotic and destructive scene.
Fire devoured the buildings, and smoke darkened the once blue sky. Screams filled the air, mingled with the metallic sound of debris falling and the crackling of flames. People ran in all directions, desperate to find an escape, stumbling and falling in their haste to flee the imminent danger. Jasper was paralyzed by the magnitude of the chaos unfolding before his eyes. That place which had seemed like a dream had transformed into a genuine hell.
"What is happening?!" he shouted, his voice barely audible over the horrible roar that engulfed the town. Sweat ran down his face as he struggled to stay conscious, his mind racing with fear and confusion.
The city that seemed like a dream was now covered in fire and screams. Everyone was running in desperation, and the street was filled with fire and bodies. Jasper couldn't believe what he was witnessing, how such a beautiful scene had turned into this.
"Help!" A hoarse voice reached Jasper's ears, and he slowly turned his head towards the source of the voice.
Jasper felt a wave of terror as he saw the horrific scene before him. The beautiful girl with the white hat he had seen moments ago lay on the ground, motionless and covered in blood. He couldn't believe that the same city that had brought him so much joy had turned into a nightmare in an instant. He wanted to help, but he was paralyzed with fear.
Jasper's mind was a jumble as he tried to make sense of what was happening around him. Fear gripped him strongly, making it difficult to move and think clearly.
As he fought against the panic that threatened to overwhelm him, Jasper couldn't shake the feeling that he had experienced all this before. It was as if he was reliving a memory, but one he couldn't fully place.
His body refused to obey him, and he felt like a mere spectator in his own skin. It was a strange and unsettling sensation that left him vulnerable and exposed to the devastation around him.
Suddenly, a voice pierced through the darkness, and Jasper sharply turned to face a shadowy figure materializing behind him. The words of the figure barely resonated in Jasper's racing mind as he tried to grasp the situation. In a fleeting instant, the figure extended a finger towards Jasper, and an intense blinding light pierced through his chest. There was no pain, only a strange sense of detachment engulfed him as he helplessly watched his body fall lifeless to the ground.
As darkness enveloped him, Jasper found himself trapped in the whirlwind of uncertainty. Was this the end? Had he died, or was it just another unsettling and surreal dream?
