A sleek black cat with mismatched blue and yellow eyes crouched next to a windowsill coming to a standstill it eyed a juicy mouse. Then it pounced.
This cat was Shadow. Shadow was the best hunter in his neighbourhood no other cat could compete with him.
The filthy dogs thought that they were the best but he had beaten the so-called “best dog” many times over the years. The dogs were obviously worse than the cats. A cat could take on 5 dogs and win. In the annual tournament the dogs lost every round to the cats, except in slobbering. Cats love beating up dogs.
The mature ones were as dumb as a newborn cat and they lost every battle. They had no strategies and just rushed the enemy.
It was morning and Shadow went to his humans to get food. They gave him an unusual amount of attention. Shadow thought something was wrong, but he went on with his day as if it was a normal day. Shadow got his food and lapped it up very fast.

Then he met up with the other cats of the neighbourhood in the attic, there was: Rusty the leader, Shiver the co-leader, Knight, Iceberg, Dale, and himself
“did anybody notice how we are getting lots of attention” Rusty questioned “say aye if you noticed” a chorus of aye’s filled the room from everyone
“we will investigate everyone meet here in the afternoon” Shiver announced.
We split up after that. He went to my house to investigate but he saw a mouse and had to chase it. It was running away quite quickly but not as quickly as he was chasing it to somewhere else, not his house, shadow stopped chasing it and started stalking it through dark alleyways.
Then he pounced claws first. Before he could catch it something appeared. It was a dark purple mixed with light purple; it was the shape of a circle. He tried to stop himself but he still went in claws first. What he saw when he went in was too terrifying to describe.
