The Path of the Righteous : Chapter 3

The Outlaw stood his ground, facing off against the Red Queen and her guards. He was outnumbered and outmatched, but he refused to go down without a fight.

He raised his blade, ready to face his destiny. But then, something strange happened. A warm, tingling energy surged through his body, filling him with a power he had never felt before. He felt a sudden clarity of mind, as if he could see the path of the righteous stretching out before him.

With a roar, he lunged forward, his sword flashing with an inner light. He cut down the guards one by one, his movements fluid and graceful. The Red Queen stood her ground, her magic crackling around her. But The Outlaw was unstoppable, his sword slicing through her spells like a hot knife through butter.

With a final blow, he struck the Red Queen down, her body collapsing to the ground. He stood over her, breathing heavily, his sword still clutched in his hand.

The merchant stepped forward, his eyes wide with amazement. "Who are you?" he asked. "What are you?"

The Outlaw shook his head, trying to clear his mind. He had no answer to the merchant's questions. All he knew was that he had been given a power, a purpose, and he intended to use it.

He turned to the merchant, offering him his hand. "Come with me," he said. "I'll take you to safety."

The merchant took The Outlaw's hand, and together they left the Red Hand's lair. As they rode through the Wildlands, The Outlaw felt a sense of purpose he had never known before. He had a new destiny, a new path to follow, and he was ready to face it head-on.

And as they rode into the sunrise, The Outlaw knew that his journey had only just begun.
