Dear Observers,

It's time. Shades of Perception Book 1 (Chapters 5-76) is moving over to Kindle/Audible (links in post-chapter notes), which means they have to be taken down from RoyalRoad due to exclusivity contracts set upon by Amazon for me and my publishers. It hurts to do this, but this is what it comes to if I want to give Shades a shot at larger fame, recognition, and reader-base.

I've also talked about this in the last few Author Notes (chapter 205), but I'll be reiterating it here. Shades, for me, is more of a passion project than a financial one. While the monetary success of Shades on Amazon won't matter to me much, I'd sell my soul to a demon to have it do well regardless---simply for the reason of wanting more people to read it.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Unfortunately, there's a very real chance that when the book launches, it becomes just another drop in the ocean that is Amazon. So, to ensure such a thing doesn't come to pass, I'd like to enlist help from any of you that can. If you have the means, getting and reading Shades on Kindle Unlimited or with Audible credits will help me immensely. If that's not possible because of inflated and non-adjusted prices worldwide or any other reason---reviews and ratings mean a lot, too!

I will continue writing this novel regardless of how it does on Amazon, but its success will still define just how much time I can pour into it. It will decide whether the next 1000+ chapters I have in mind come out in a couple of years or a dozen years. For everyone else, know that just the fact that you read is enough to pump me with dopamine, and I am trying my hardest.

With all that in mind, I hope you return and read on for Book 2. I will try to write a summary for B1 for anyone returning after a gap or just a bit lost. Until then,
