A month later

"This time we will win!" The heroes party came back, it was the seventh time this month, I would be annoyed if it wasn't for the fact I could see my beloved priestress again.

" I welcome you again, heroes, you are truly brave to come back after all those loss." No no no no, why do i have to act like that ?! Can't I just talk with them for once.

The heroes unsheated his holy sword and I got ready to fight once again.

"Black cross." I activated my fight mode, it's really useful that I can change my attire like that.

" uryaah!" The hero dashed towards me, while the swordman dashed towards the left, I ducked the incoming stile of the hero and kicked him away before blocking the incoming strike on my left and sending the swordsman flying.

" Inferno!" The mage girl unleashed an advanced level fire spell towards me

" useless, my black flames will absorb your magic." The flames dissipated when they came in contact with me, meanwhile my love healed the hero and his friend before buffing them.

The fight dragged on for a while before I decided It was enough, I backed away

" Chronos law." I stopped their movements with time magic one of the rarest magic.

"Huh?" The hero was surprised

"What!" My love didn't understand what happened

"Time magic ?! Impossible!" The mage girl acted as if she saw something impossible

"..." and the swordman didn't say anything as always

" I would like to speak with you heroes, surely you understood by now that you can't win." I told them Bluntly what they didn’t  want to hear, they all flinched.

" So what ? Everyone believes in us! Giving up means betraying their trust!" The hero screamed

"Calm down ! Let's hear what he has to say first." Thank you mage girl for your help.

" I wish to make a deal with you. If you accept my conditions then I'll let you pass."

"Leave behind the priestress and I'll let you pass." They reacted all differently

The mage girl barely contained her laughter

And the girl in question stared blankly at me, please don't, it makes me wanna blush.

"Never! I'll never leave behind Julia, she's my friend." Of course, that would’ve been too easy otherwise

"Wait yuu!" Mage girl said, so his name is yuu,"think about it, we can still comeback to save her after we killed the demon lord!"

She's trying to make it seems like it's the only way but in reality I'm sure she just wants to have one less rival.

"I agree" The priestress Julia finally said.

"""Heh?!""" Unexpectedly she agreed to stay here, even the swordman was surprised. I am too.

"Well, if the person in questions agrees, then you may pass." I opened the doord behind me and let go of my magic

The hero looked back multiple times towards Julia silently saying 'we'll come back don't worry.'

The door closed behind them, leaving behind me and the priestress

" I know I have no chance of winning but I'll fight until the end!" She started gathering magic but I cut her before she could.

"Wait, wait! Let's talk about it!" I put my hand in the air.

"... don't play the innocent! I know you can kill me easily!"

"You're mistaken I swear!"

" Leaving the healer behind you want to slowly kill them aren't you?!"

I wouldn't do something so dumb.

"If I wanted to kill you I would've done it already, I just have business with you!"

"Then you just want to toy with me before killing me!"

"I fell in love with you when I first saw you, please go out with me!" I finally said it, I felt relieved by saying it.
