This story is a sequel to Isis and Osiris. It takes place after Horus gets the throne after he beats Set.
It was another peaceful day in Egypt. Watching the kingdom at peace and ease. A messenger comes to Egypt I see him at the gate, waiting patiently to be let in. I go down to the gates and ask him
“Who are you? What do you need?”
I ask, impatiently.
He responds
“It's Anubis he's fuming with rage. He just got told the story of his dad and your dad's past. Hes determined to get revenge for his father. You need to gather your troops and prepare for his presence.”
“Oh no, Thank you for this information!”
I rush back into my kingdom and start going to the troop's huts to gather them to spread the message. Soon, the message spread throughout my entire kingdom and everyone was prepared for Anubi's presence. No one slept in the kingdom that night. We were all too nervous, wondering what might happen to the kingdom once Anubis was done. Later that night I looked through my window and saw a tall god, carrying some sort of weapon in his hands. I rub my eyes and look a little closer and then realized that it must be Anubis. You see, I've never actually met Anubis. I've only heard of him as Set's son. I rushed to the ground of my kingdom, trying not to wake up my troops as I got my spear. All of a sudden I hear this behind the gates

“Oh Horus I know your there, come out I just want to have a little chat.”
I put my spear in my pocket just in case, making sure that it is not noticeable. I go to the gates, open them, and step outside, closing the gates gently behind me.
“What do you need from me!” I say, anger boiling in my veins as I think of what his dad did to mine.
“I'm not trying to fight you, I'm here to settle things between us and offer an alternative.”
“I'm listening” I say, getting more intrigued by the minute.
“What if we both rule over Egypt, like a sidekick or an assistant.”
I think about it for a moment and try to picture what that would be like.
“I need to think about it, you don't have my full trust yet. Come here at my gates at the exact same time you came today. Come next Tuesday, I'll be waiting for your arrival.”
He gave me a thumbs up and ran off hurriedly into the distance as if he were late to a meeting or something. I opened the gates gently and closed them, my heart racing faster as I thought ‘Did I do the right thing?’ I brushed it off and went back up to my hut. I kept thinking about it all night. In the morning I gathered up my troops and told them about everything that happened that night. They all went silent as if trying not to think about it too hard but had to think about it the right amount. Finally, they looked at me for a moment and smiled. They said that they are proud of me and that putting the past behind us and sharing the throne is the perfect compromise and that my dad would be proud of me. Fast forward to a year, me and Anubis have been ruling Egypt together and we are friendly and we are ruling over Egypt better than I ever could.
