The door opens to a dusty old workshop of all sort of wonder the best way Leafa could put this into words was like this workshop is a place where magic was possible the advent tech that was in place in the shop was amazing. Take was probably the one that was appearing to make the city float as it does now there was also cool looking weapons and Armour with the look that they are able to transform itself in battle. But the one that stood out to Leafa most of all was the only one that looked broken in the store it was a big sword that looked like it had a big gun in the middle of it, but the lower part of the sword was hanging down almost like it was about to snap off and it was the only thing that wasn’t shiny like the other weapons and had so much dust on it.
“let me show you to the guest room oh and I’ll show you the kitchen on the way, but they aren’t much to eat beside some bread and fruit I don’t get much of a chance to go to the market and get some food”
Take thought as they passed by the kitchen and walk down the hall that leads to an old wooden door on the left which has a sign on it reading out as storage next to it was a flight of stairs they both go up it.,Take in front of Leafa following just behind him. There are three doors one on the right and left then another one just down the hall facing them.
“the room on the left is the guest room it’s a bit of a mess as I haven’t had a guest for a while now but feel free to move stuff around to your liking. The door on your right is the restroom but there’s no bath in there as its hard to get a lot of water to every house on Hyka but there is a public bath house just a few streets from here, and that door over there is my room. You may use this place as freely as you like just don’t enter my room that is the one big rule I have in place here.”
As Takes thought travels to Leafa she wonders why the only real important rule she was given was to stay out of that room. She didn’t wonder much about it as she thinks that she is a guest in someone else place so it’s only normal that he would have rules in place.
“ok I understand and Take thank you again for saving me”
Said Leafa in a shy but thankful tone and her hand’s by his with her finger moving around each other
“don’t mention it I was just doing my job plus thanks to you something has happened and might hopefully open up a new path on my quest to cure myself from this damn curse and maybe give me an answer on how to…. Anyway we should get some sleep we’ve got a lot of testing to do in the morning. Well good night”
Take thought as he heads to his room only opening the door slightly and walking in so no one can see what is in the room. Leafa wonders to herself for a min thinking what could be in that room but then took her mind off it as her stomach growls thinking she hasn’t had much to eat she runs downstairs into the kitchen and grabs some apple’s hugging them as she runs up the stairs and enters the room Take showed her. It was a dark room with only the clear night sky with the full moonlight shining through the window there are blankets over everything the tables, chairs, drawers and some other stuff that has a weird shape to them. Leafa moves some of the stuff so she can sit and sleep for the night during that time of moving stuff around she has a sit on one of the wooden chairs and eats some of the apples. Leaving only the core of the apples on the table she gets up pushing the chair back but the back right leg hits something stopping the chair. Leafa goes to pick the item up and Takes off the blanket to find a pair of gauntlets still looking brand new she puts them on noticing they feel a lot lighter than the way they look they should weigh a ton to Leafa’s slim body instead they feel light as a feather to her. She is able to move her hands so freely it is as if they were made for her she feels and then finds a button in the gauntlets she press it in the left hand gauntlet and it starts to transforms into an armour bracelet. Leafa does the same to the right hand she was amazed at what just happened but she couldn’t see a way to get them to transform back but as her eyes started to get heavy she think to herself that it is getting late and falls on the bed and drifts off to sleep.
[2 weeks later]
“Me and Take have learnt something about this power between us, we found out that half way between Islands which Take said is about 45KM is the limit that I can hear him, anything past that becomes hard to hear. And after a lot of blood test we have finally come to the conclusion that it is not my blood that allows this to happen and thank the gods for that I thought I was going to die from blood loss the amount Take was taking from me. Other than that I’ve just been enjoying my life here thought I really need to get back to searching for him” Leafa wrote in her diary in the middle of the park on a wooden bench watching people go past her or making wishes at the water fountain.

“Leafa I need you to come back right now I need your help with something” Take thoughts start coming into Leafa’s head so that she can hear him
“arrr I better be going kinda hard that I can’t tell him I’m coming as his thoughts are only one way if we’re apart.” She thinks to herself kinda giggling at the same time then picks up her diary and starts to leave the park and walks thought the town back to Take’s place.
Leafa arrives at Take’s workshop she opens the door and sees Take and another woman. Take has all the gear on from when they first met, wearing a dark cloak with his claymore size sword on his back and showing his metal hand as well. The girl standing next to him is in the royal army a nice set of armour on the shoulder,chest,arms,wrist and legs with a blue striped cloth covering the rest of the body and the helmet is shaped in a way that looks like a two pointed horn at the back of it and with a visor that can be lifted up or down depending on the wearer, as for the lady herself she has brown skin with a dark black hair and some silver stripes in her hair as well, she is about 5ft5 just a bit smaller then Leafa and Take as Leafa is 5ft6 and Take is 5ft11.
Leafa walks into the store room and says “sorry I ain’t interrupting anything am I?” the girl in the armour turns around and both of them look at Leafa.
“oh wow Take look a customer it’s been awhile since I’ve seen any new people in this place go you can serve her first thought that might be a bit hard for you “the armoured girl said and nudging her elbow into Take’s side with Take having a grumpy face on him and his arms crossed.
“oh no I’m not a customer I’m … I’m his assistant, Yea that’s right!” Leafa smiles as she finishes what she was saying.
“assistant you say well that must be harder didn’t know you were looking for extra hands thought you do need one ha ha and a cute young girl as well you sly old dog didn’t know you had it in you” the armoured girl said punching Take in the arm and Take just getting more angrier.
“Leafa please explain to Slivera about the power and can she get to the point of her being here please before I kick her out of here” Take thought to Leafa though the thoughts sound as angry as he looks right now.
“ok Slivera is it? Let me explain see we don’t know a lot about what makes this work but about two weeks ago I grabbed Take and since I did that I’ve been able to hear his thoughts that’s what I kinda meant when I said I was his assistant . oh he also asks what are you doing here?” said Leafa
“wait she survived you touching her and now she can hear your thoughts?!” Slivera yells while looking at Take and pointing at Leafa. Take nods back at her symbol as she pull her hand back to her chest “well let me introduce myself my name is Slivera Otheart I’m the most powerful knight on the royal army and I’m one of this guys only few friends some might say the best of best friends. Oh and I’m here on business they have been attacks on villains in the southeast area we don’t know what is causing it but most of them have massive holes in them. We’d like you to see what’s going on and find out anything and if the army will need to get involved” her tone of voice went from happy to business-like in a second like it was second nature.
“umm nice to meet you I’m Leafa, oh Take just asked where should we start looking?” Leafa said.
“Windrow village, that seems to be where the first attack happened thought most of the repairs are under way thought, maybe see if anyone is around for questioning “Slivera said to Leafa even thought it was Take asking the question.
“Leafa pack your bags we’ll be leaving shortly make sure you have a nice amount of stuff we won’t be back for a while I’m guessing” Take thought to Leafa and she nods to him as she starts to head upstairs to grab her stuff. Take picks up a pen and paper and trying to hide his thoughts he writes a note to Slivera saying ”I need Leafa to take care of herself out there I can’t guaranty her safety but she’ll be handy if I need someone to talk for me”.
Slivera replies “maybe a short blade or a dagger, it’s what we train most of the new troops with, as long as you teach her the basics she should be able to hold herself in a simple fight” Take nods and looks around his workshop thinking of what weapon to give Leafa.meanwhile Leafa is up in her room packing her things- spare clothes, some food, her diary, and just thinking ‘what else?’. Then she remembers that it’s dangerous out in the world and grabs the gauntlets. She transforms them into the bracelet and wears them then heads back downstairs to see Slivera off with her waving her hand way in the air and cutely walks out of the door.
“Leafa over here I have something for you” Take hands her a sword in a wooden sheaf. Leafa pulls the sword out it is a short sword with a bronze guard and the blade shines with a white and silver steel not too heavy but not so light that it would break easily “I’ll try to teach you some stuff on our travels just so you’re safe in case I’m not there. I need you around to be my voice” thought Take
Leafa puts the sword back into the sheaf and replies” thank you Take and ok I think that will be best too plus that Slivera woman is kinda right you can’t really ask questions that well can you hehe”. Take scowls. Both of them went outside and lock the workshop up then head out to the docks for one of the airships to drop them off and set out on their quest.
