Chapter 7: 7th day my mom's a museum

Mother 'What food?'

baby 'other swords and hard things'

Mother 'fine but when it's time to get out i will spit you out'

baby 'ok' and i go on my way inside

It really is spacious inside no wonder she's  has a 20m large body. I  stop admiring how big she is and move forward.

I scan my surroundings with my eyes and they are quite useful, i can see mom's bloodflow and i notice that it's going slowly but still flows. I think she put herself in a state that doesn't require much food because she's protecting her eggs.

i start running now because i'm not sure how much time it will take for me to the energy sources i saw from outside so i move on.

I think i just arrived inside the stomach but my surprise doesn't end there because right now i'm witnessing slimes all around me, i go to one and try grabbing it but it burns me because it's made of acid. I do something insane and swallow it whole even thought it burned the inside of my mouth but its healed already.

i swallow more of those things and eat them until finally

i stop eating them because i think its what she uses to dissolve her food and continue until i finally start finding items they don't have energy sources but still i grab them and instead of eating them i put everything in my pouch even if it's a rock.

I found 5 pairs of bracers, 6 heavy armours , 5 swords, a pair of daggers, 6 pairs of gauntlets, 2 Rocks, 2 necklaces 20 rings and 10 potions

right now i'm barely moving but thanks to my regeneration i can go on and gain strength faster, i gained 10 strength, 5 vitality and 2 endurance since i took those heavy armours and it's still going up.

Now i can finally see an energy source, was about time i saw one, I approach carefully and it's a pouch. I check inside , there's a ring made of interwoven strands of red metal with cracks all around and with curse energy surrounding it, i pull it out and it seems there is something special about the pouch too, because as soon as the ring left it, it release purifying energy, i put the ring back inside it and see the energy go towards the ring, i pull out the ring and put it on as a bracelet, because my fingers are too small for it and see what it does only to end up feeling like every muscle in my body was giving me hearth wrenching pain, i felt like my body was being shattered to pieces only to end up healed thanks to my regeneration and worst is the pain is worsening, i try to remove the ring but can't remove it, so i have no choice but to endure, i put the pouch inside my own and continue crawling deeper while suffering endless pain, i think right now i'm experiencing hell while alive and i must say even if it's new knowledge it sucks to be stuck with it but i couldn't resist trying it, maybe i'm an idiot sometimes, like what they say there's just a thin line that separates idiots from geniuses.

i continue getting items on the way and increase my weight with 3 swords, 2 axe heads, 1 axe, 1 halberd, a book about creatures of this world, 5 potions, a book about materials and where we can find them, 1 scepter, a guide on how to be a rogue, 7gems, 8 pieces of ore, 1 pickaxe head, 1 pickaxe and a miner's book.

I'm surprised so many books are fine inside a stomach full of acid so i examine them closely ,and notice there is some kind of circle inside all of the covers, it's probably an enchantment of protection so they don't get destroyed.

i'm now nearing another energy source and approach carefully only to see a ring with a big eyeball on it, this one is full of neutral energy like the enchantments on the books so i put it on and examine the ring and while wondering what it does.

I think about what i just read and examine the ring and i compare the information on the ring with what i know and it seems what i called energy was in reality mana, because the mana i'm seeing is neutral like the protection on the books, also there's a bigger circle than the ring appearing over it made completely of mana, that means that depending on what circle you form, it will result in a different effect,there's so much variety i can't wait to finally learn about it, i put the identification ring inside my pouch, when i think about pouch, i get the idea of taking out the one that was with the ring to see if i can remove the ring while it's inside the pouch, finally the ring is removed. I really can be an idiot for not thinking about it because the initial pain didn't leave place for rational thinking.

Well at least i didn't suffer for nothing, i put the pouch back in mine and continue towards another mana source and on the way i pick up other weapons, armours, jewellery, ores, gems, tool kits, rocks, potions, ale and other books.

I arrive at the mana source and see a black leather book with a black feather pen.

The book is blank and there's no ink so i will have to wait and test it out later. i put the both of them inside my pouch and go towards the last source of mana.

Now the items are more and more ancient i don't know how many years old my mother is but i think she's ancient.

this time i found another bottle of ale but i don't even know if it's safe for drinking since it's maybe more than 1000 years old, I also found ancient potions, ancient weapons, ancient armours, ancient tools, and ancient tablets.

I think i'm going to explore all the snakes like mother, because they must all be walking museums, if she doesn't know anyone i will just find them.

Now the things can no longer be considered weapons, i'm now collecting obsidian knifes and knifes carved from rocks and other tools made of rocks and all the rocks in the vicinity. finally i think i arrived at the end of the pocket stomach, Because right after the item it's just a wall of flesh.

Mother POV

It has been two days already, what is she doing inside, it's true i'm big and large and i have a lot of things inside but it's uncomfortable to know that if she does something stupid she will mess my insides.

I think she just came back because i'm feeling something heavy on the same tooth she always sucks from i open my mouth

mom 'come up now'

baby 'Ok'

she crawls on top of my mouth like last time only she's taking more time and i feel she got heavy more than 100 times her own weight. She finally arrives in front of my eyes and looks the same as before but she has a bit more muscle but are still as slender as before.

mom 'so what happened for you to get so strong, i know because you have more mucles on you then before?'

she got a pouch out and took a ring out of it, i recognise that ring, it's hundred of years old, i didn't know i swallowed one, it's a cursed ring that cracks the muscles of the whole body, including the heart.

mom 'don't tell me you put it on?'

baby 'yes i did and it hurt a lot but luckily after i got used to the pain i remembered the pouch and tried removing the ring while it was inside and it worked after that a window appeared telling me i got stronger and faster'

mom 'if you didn't regenerate so quickly you would be dead that ring cracks all the muscles of the body until nothing is left also because it's a cursed artifact it cannot be removed by normal means, you must purify it to remove it, that pouch must be a purifying pouch because you were able to remove it'

baby 'can i ask you something?'

mom 'yes'

baby 'how many years old are you' mental bang

mom 'why do you ask that?'

baby 'because i took everything inside and found a lot of old stuff like these' an obsidian knife, an ancient tablet, ancient swords and a rock with ancient writing'

mom 'fine i will tell you, i'm 3205 years old, but you must never reveal it to anyone, not even your father or i will kill you, because i told him i was 500 years younger'

baby 'what father?'

mom 'you will meet him if you survive also i will teach what all those items are understood?'

baby ' can i go inside him to see if he has old things inside him?'

mom 'you will have to ask him also he knows more about ancient things then me so you will maybe learn more from him than me'

baby 'i will eat the the rocks i found while waiting for tomorrow' she gets a mountain of rocks on the floor, it surprises me i had so much rocks inside and she swallows them one after the other. she really is a weird daughter, i can't wait to see her growth.
