Jack is having a very bad day. He has a lot of very bad days, but it usually isn't his fault. Something is out to get him, and it looks like it has found him. Luckily, he meets a Guy, someone from far away, someone who can do nearly magical things. Now Jack is mixed up with all kinds of weird and inconceivable events. Will his new friend destroy Jack's somewhat pathetic life? Or will Jack rise to the occasion and become a universe-saving hero? Neither? Both? Who knows? Jack sure doesn't. But it might be fun to find out, right? Just probably not for Jack.
