Sector 1: STAM [17:45]
Kyou was the last to walk into the briefing room. He rubbed the side of his head tenderly trying to ease the pain in his head.
“Now that’ you’re all here...” he could hear the slight annoyance in Shizune’s voice as he took his place alongside the rest of the agents, “You’re all on patrols for the night-”
Seiji groaned, “I’m so tired of these patrol missions...”
“Knock it off Seiji-” Shou nudged Seiji with his elbow.
Shizune glared at him for interrupting her, “If you did the patrol missions right, you’d come back with a few mazoku contained or disposed of,” with that, she turned around and left the briefing room.
Seiji rolled his eyes, “You have any leads Shou? She didn’t assign us a Sector so I guess we can go wherever...”
Kenji’s face perked up, “Oh Partner can I pick the Sector??”
Kyou shrugged, “Sure whatever-”
“25!” Kenji grinned, “After all, the higher the Sector the more likely we are to actually find a mazoku right?”
“HA! 25? You think you’ll actually find anything there with the radiation time limit?” Seiji scoffed.
At the challenge Kyoushirou glared back at Seiji, “We did last time didn’t we?”
Sector 27: MRPA [18:00]
“Ahh,” Keiko sighed as she and Aku stepped out from Hong’s office, “I hate these missions the most...”
“Collections for both of us huh?” Aku walked with her arms folded, “At least they are easy...”
“There’s always crying involved….” Keiko pushed the button for the elevator, “I hate crying...”
The two stepped in. Aku took a breath, “Want me to drop you off in Sector 12?”
Keiko grimaced, “No thanks. I’ll take the long way,”
The doors opened to the main floor and Aku shrugged, “Suit yourself. I’ve got to stop by the Research department before I head out.”
Keiko nodded and walked ahead to the exit, “You got it.”
Aku’s face dropped. She looked down at her phone: “10 Minutes” the message read from 4 minutes ago. She bit her thumb nail nervously. She had to do this collection mission immediately- but she couldn’t ignore a message from Uncle.
“Oh 014!” Arisa walked by her with a bright smile, “I heard you and 013 got collection missions?”
Aku gave her a smile, an idea suddenly coming to mind, “Can I ask you for a huge favor? A secret favor?”
Arisa grinned, she was starting to enjoy these secrets she had with Aku, “What is it?”

Sector 3: Outside the Hospital [18:02]
Arisa and Aku emerged from a shadow behind the hospital in a dark alley, “You just have to grab a baby named Miku. One of the nurses called so it’s unlikely that STAM will show up, but still….” Aku looked around nervously, she was running out of time.
Arisa was wearing a large coat over her MRPA uniform, “No problem,”
Aku nodded in response, “Thanks 00,” with that, she fell into a shadow and left Arisa to the mission.
Arisa frowned once Aku had vanished, “Where is it that she keeps running off to?” she brushed dust off her coat, “I’ll have to ask her when she comes back ... .I hope she’s OK...” with her mind clouded she walked out into the open street and turned the corner for the hospital entrance.
“Kuma Arisa?”
She turned to the unfamiliar voice that spoke her name, but before she could see his face her world turned black.
Sector 1: Thrice Inc. [18:09]
“How good of you to show up...” Mr.Black’s voice was the usual mix of deep and smokey.
“Good evening Uncle,” Aku bowed before him, “Is there an assignment for me?”
Mr. Black smiled, “Not tonight my dear. You have testing...”
Aku scowled. The last time she had testing was no pleasant memory. Hours of blood samples, radiation stress tests, muscle fatigue, and a multitude of other random tests, “Couldn’t it wait for another time?” she thought of Arisa on her mission. She had hoped to get back to MRPA before Arisa had finished, but if she did the testing she would be stuck here.
He frowned at her, “No it can’t. We’ve already pushed back the date to now. You will proceed with the testing tonight.”
Aku sighed. There was no point in fighting, “Yes Uncle.”
Sector 12: Residential District [19:40]
“You sure this was where the call came from?” Seiji walked down the row of houses with Shou. This was the back side of the district. The houses faced a thick forest.
“Yup. It’s the house near the end of the road. Some neighbors heard screaming. Apparently the wife is pregnant.”
“Hmmm. You think a black agent will show up then? If STAM wasn’t called that means the parents called the mazoku organization right??” Seiji grinned widely.
“Don’t jinx us like that. I’d rather not have any headaches tonight.”
The two walked up to the door of the house they had been called about. Shou knocked twice on the door. They heard hurried footsteps and the muffled voice of a man, “Thank goodness you’re here! I wasn’t sure if-” he stopped short when he saw Shou and Seiji.
Shou smiled, “Mr. Hans DeVaughn?” he flashed his STAM credentials from his dog tag, “We’re here because of a concerning call from one of your neighbors...”
Hans seemed nervous. He held the door tightly trying to block the view of his living room with his body.
Seiji nudged Shou, “There. Blood.” he motioned his head toward the smear on the door from Hans’ hand.
Sector ??- ???? [??:??]
Where am I? Arisa’s head was throbbing. She was sure she had opened her eyes, and yet everything was still dark. What’s going on- she remembered. She had been by the hospital when someone had called her name and then things went black. From the pain in her head she guessed whoever had called her had hit her...and kidnapped her. Arisa’s heart started to beat faster I’ve been kidnapped?? But by who? An image of Kyoushirou popped in her head. Could he possibly-
Her thoughts were cut short at the sound of a knock at the door.
“I’m coming!”
She recognized the voice as the man who had called her name. It wasn’t Kyoushirou, thankfully. The man walked briskly away from wherever Arisa was and opened the door.
There was a smack and the man cried out, “Owww! What the heck?!”
“You idiot! This is all your fault!”
Arisa froze. She knew this voice too. It was a woman’s voice. She could barely breathe as the realization set in.
“If you wouldn’t have gotten into this mess none of this would have happened!”
