D17 Series: Thy is mine first true story. I have hope thee and others enjoy this story of mine that I hath spun.

Allen looked around with a blank stare on his face. Instead of his usual bedroom wall that would greet him every (godforsaken) morning, a bustling bazaar that seemed straight out of a medieval fantasy appeared before him. A few people stared at him weirdly, but Allen ignored it. Instead of panicking, Allen decided to calmly think about his current situation.
"While this those seem like some of the world traveler stories that I had read, they usually have a game-like system to accompany them. Seeing as that isn't occurring, though it wouldn't hurt to try. Should I?" Allen contemplated. "My pajamas were replaced with this white clothing, so it is possible..."
Deciding to go on with his plan, Allen walked around for a bit, and accidentally (coincidentally) found a nice, calm park. Children and friendly animals were playing happily. Birds were chirping. It was also quite. Perfect. This would work out nicely for his plan.
Back at home, Allen would enjoy spending his time near nature and greenery. Animals, even dangerous one such as lions and tigers, didn't feel wary nor suspicious of him. This got him quite famous. Allen would spend a lot of his time in parks and national reserves, playing around with grizzly bears and lions as if it were a normal occurrence.
Finding a nice tree to sit on, Allen looked around warily before taking a deep breath.
"Status." Allen thought and said at the same time. With a small popping sound, his eyes widened as a small white panel popped into existence.

Allen was stumped. "It seemed that a special thing has happened to me." Allen sighed. Though Allen did not have many connections in his previous world, family and a few beloved still had mattered a small amount to his apathetic self. Allen was not apathetic in a sense as to disregard anything, if a more apt term were to describe it, Allen was antisocial.
Other than his family and scant few friends, Allen did not converse nor actively seek to converse with anyone else until a person themselves talk to him. That was how Allen had made his small motley group of friends.
"If I have become a World Traveler, and from the looks of it, this is a fantasy world, their should a Adventurer's Guild, right?" Allen wasn't stupid. Even if a special system had granted him powers, income and other necessary things would no easily come to him. The first idea that had come to his mind was to join a Adventurer's Guild. That would allow him to explore the world and learn more about it while at the same time understanding the many mysteries behind his transportation.
Sighing, Allen hoped that a universal language translator similar to that in the novels had come with the package. If not, Allen can still easily learn the language (he was considered a genius after all) but it would be too much of a waste of his time.
Going up to one of the guards that guarded the entrance to the park. Allen lightly spoke, "Excuse me?"
The burly guard turned around quite surprised and then said in a rough voice, "Yes? Do you need help with anything?"
Allen nodded to himself in his inner self. Fortunately, a universal language translator had come with the package. Taking a deep breath, Allen said, "Do you know where I can find a place to make some coin? I am a foreigner, so I don't know much about this land."
The burly guard was slightly surprised before understanding dawned in his expression, and with a amiable look, a rough voice rang out once more, "If you are capable and can fight, I suggest registering as a Adventurer in the Blessed Alliance. If you can't, than you can always go to Dragon's Breath, it is a popular inn and is always in need of waiters and chefs. The owner is my personal friend, I am Elliot, by the way." A large hand was thrust out. Allen smiled happily and shook the hand before asking for some directions to the Blessed Alliance, alongside with some other information.

It turned out that Allen was in Winterwood Town, a extremely wealthy settlement that was on the verge of becoming a city. The reason for this was because it was located directly next to Enderlight Crypts, a extremely good dungeon for both beginner and veteran Adventurers.
The Blessed Alliance is a hand-in-hand organization created by the leaders of the Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Giants. They were the direct enemies of the Black Legion, a evil horde of Undead, Demons, and Fallen Angels. Technically, Blessed Alliance is good and Black Legion is bad. Allen understood that much.
The headquarters for the Blessed Alliance were luckily (conveniently) directly in Winterwood Town. They were in the lucrative inner layer, where nobility and rich, retired Adventurers lived. Other than that, Allen found out that he was currently on the Land of Mortals, Midgard. More powerful Adventurers who had a chance of ascending would go the the Primordial Isles in search of more powerful foes.
Walking through the alleyways and streets, Allen admired the beautiful sights displayed to him. It was obvious that Winterwood Town was going to become a city, it was possible that it might even become the capital of the kingdom that they were in, Winterwind. As the name implied, Great House of Winterwind, a family of Magi and Knights who delved in Ice Magic, were the royal family of the Winterwind Kingdom.
The Great House of Sturm were their direct enemies. Death and crime were a common occurrence in the den of venomous snakes known as nobility.
As for Allen? "Life is a simplicity that none understand, and even less began to comprehend. Fate and Destiny were nonexistent yet they were existent. Deal with everything calmly, don't let hatred seep into your heart." This was his motto, a law and code to live by. The apathy had naturally come because of a terrible incident but that is a story for another time.
The headquarter building of the Blessed Alliance was a enormous tower. Allen had seen it from the distance at the park, but it was even more impress up close. Intricate designs of various colors played on the white-colored walls. As expected of the name that they had given themselves. Their headquarter was built as a temple.
Entering it, a guard asked for his identification. Allen shook is head and explained that he had come to sign up as Adventurer. After hearing that, they let him through. Apparently, a lot of foreigners and fugitives from other countries and lands would come to the Blessed Alliance in hopes of starting a new life.
Going in, Allen entered a large enormous circular room after going through a large corridor filled with golden statues and beautiful paintings. The Blessed Alliance was wealthy, that is for sure.
Looking around, there seemed to be a large pub where Adventurers and Travelers were resting, eating and drinking while laughing rowdily. When Allen entered, silence had reigned before chatter had slowly started to come back. With beet red cheeks, Allen made his way to the receptionist.
The reason for the silence was because of how Allen looked. Though their was normal a uninterested expressionless face to greet you, Allen looked ridiculously handsome when genuine excitement or some other emotions flashed and showed. Some women even still through lustful gazes at him. Some men too...At that, Allen picked up his pace and almost ran to the receptionist.
"Welcome, Do you wish to register as a Adventurer?" Allen was slightly dazed by the melodious voice but shook out of his stupor. A otherworldly beauty, a Elf, as seen by her pointed ears, greeted him. Though fascinated, Allen still quickly composed himself rather quickly.
"Yes." Allen said quietly. Have you forgotten? Allen is antisocial. Even more so when a beautiful girl or lady was talking to him.
"Very well. Go through that door," The receptionist pointed to a corridor that led off to smaller rooms, "Personnel will meet you shortly and explain many things to you. The complementary Status Identification will used and a Adventurer Tag will be given to you as a form of identification. Their is a large inn for those that don't have homes. As you are a Bronze Ranker, you will be given a room of normal quality if you wish so." Allen nodded and the receptionist smiled while writing something on a notepad. "Now please go, most of our personnel are retired Saint Rankers that came from Asgard."
She pushed him away before Allen could make a sound. Wait what? Did she just say that the personnel in charged of helping (interrogating) him came from Asgard? Allen had gotten a lot of information on the various lands and continents in this new world. Midgard, Land of Mortals and Infinite Potential, was the biggest and more unexplored. Asgard, Land of Immortals and Divine, was even larger and unexplored. Saint Rank Adventurers would go to Asgard, where the Primordial Isles rested in search of more powerful foes.
With a deep gulp, Allen looked back and noticed the receptionist waving back at him with a smile. Sighing before taking a deep, calming breath, Allen walked into one of the small rooms. Outside, atop the golden door, a red vigil appeared indicating that it was taken.
Allen was startled as a deep voice suddenly rang out and a bright light began to spread around the room, a giant of a men, standing at almost two meters tall greeted his view. Seeing the gaping expression of Allen, a deep voice chuckled and said: "What, child? 'Ave you never seen a halfling? I am half-Giant and half-Dwarf, that naturally conflicted and I grew up only this tall. Though I do have the inherent ability of changing my height..."
"Whatever! Sit down, lad! Time to get you signed up!" The giant slapped the table with a hearty laugh and motioned to Allen to sit.
This was the first meeting of Allen Astarte, and Kane Kirstine, which would create a undying rivalry and a eternal friendship.
