“Male” I obviously said due to both of the other genders being rather womanly or girly. I wouldn’t want to be the creep who is mistaken for a girl, but who is actually is a guy in this world.

I was dragged to a bright white room with four people who were described to be the races.

I chose the human race even though it would be the most common. I did it because I want to look the same as in real life and it is considered to be the most balanced race overall. After that I considered what I wanted to look like. I wanted to be around 6ft with black hair and azure blue eyes, have a slight muscle tone and remove the excess fat on certain areas. Now standing before me is my ideal look in the real world and now in this one too.

I ended up choosing City due to me thinking there would probably be more wild monsters to hunt after leaving town since it was located in the center of the continent, and the level of animals would probably increase as I explore more of the continent, no matter the direction.

Warped toward the center town which name I’ve yet to learn, I wandered around looking for a job or a place to train but didn't manage to find anything in that time. Bing! a pop up suddenly appeared in front me and said: you have gained +1 stamina, you have gained +1 agility due to your constant searching and walking around. I thought “I guess it would be a good time to ask for directions” after looking around I saw an NPC-like person who appeared to be assigned to guard the entrance of town. I decided to ask a few questions like: “Do you know anywhere I can train or earn some extra money.” and “Do you know what this city is called and if it is part of some type of kingdom or queendom.”
“Why yes, these questions are quite basic but were you not aware when you entered this city.” He pointed toward a large sign at the entrance of town. It said Ancient City of Terra. “Surely you have heard we are currently the only city in the center of the continent besides the Capital.”
While listening I continued to nod and pretended to know what he was talking about since I wasn’t sure or not if he knew of the existence of players. “I am getting nervous so get to the point, do you know anywhere to train or a job of any kind?” After all the gibberish he told me there would be a school or training center where they were currently taking disciples though this was currently just a rumor.

“Yes, so these kinds of things happen too. Well this is game and all, so this is to be expected.” After hearing this I set off to explore the northern part of the city. Before I could take another step another Ding! ran into my face and said: Your satiety has reached 10% please consider finding a source of food. I tried to see if I had anything on me to satisfy my hunger. I had a bag but didn’t have any means of opening it. Whether it was throwing it on the ground, punching it, biting it off with my teeth, these thoughts ran through my head but I decided to try the words ‘Show Inventory.’ I had the idea from the large amount of anime and manga I had read beforehand when I was younger. Suddenly a blue screen popped up in front of my face and showed the things I currently had in my bag, 10 pieces of stale bread and a canteen made of metal that was filled with water. It seemed better than nothing at the time so I bit through the hard bread and drank my fill of water, and I saw my satiety had risen by 40%. I wasn't feeling weak in the knees anymore and could walk properly so I headed towards the unknown destination.
I saw a small shack that was rundown and like anyone could guess this was probably the only place big enough to train one’s techniques and mind, and I said “Hello, is anyone here?” I began to walk up the steps and knocked on the door only to see that it was already open. “Who in his right mind leaves their front door open.” As I quietly snuck in it had the foul smell of booze and with bottles and trash all over the floor. “Man, when was the last time someone cleaned around here.” Finally I saw someone drooling and asleep on a wooden desk. It was 12pm, how is someone like this qualified to teach anyone when he is just lying around in broad daylight. I decided to yell and try to wake him but nothing I said would wake him up. Wait, he’s an adult right so I said. “Wow, there are some fine ladies walking around from the nobles’ area.” Suddenly he woke up. Finally relieved, I decided to ask him. “Are you the rumored one who is taking in a student.”
“Yes that’s me. What’s it to you.” “I would like to become your student. Please accept me under your wing.” “Well there is a certain test I would like you to take first then I will allow you to come under my wing, and let me warn you, no one has ever passed this before.” “Some have said it will drive one’s mind crazy and he will be paralyzed and impaired for life, others have said it was like going into hell and having all their body parts disassembled. Are you still willing to take a test of this magnitude.”
