This is my first time writing, I hope you guys can give me criticism so that I may improve my technique and style, I plan on doing this as a hobby and I wish those that read this a great Christmas and happy new year thx for taking the time for reading this
Light trickled unevenly through the torn blinds and into my dull eyes. A clutter of dirty dishes and old eviction notices scattered in the small room. Tirelessly, I got up from the rancid floor and reached for my tattered school uniform. A quiet creak sounded behind me as I made my way down the steep hill struggling to keep my ripped shoes on. The cold encumbered me, slowing me down. A large building came into view, regrets and mistakes were made at that place. It was my Hell.
Memories from the past haunted me as I stared into the far distance.
'Hey Jaso'A large smile was plastered on my friend's face; he came a bit late as usual and was wearing bright red sneakers.
'Hi Liam' I vigorously waved to my Friend and ran over to him.'Have you revised for the test?'
'Hahaha do you think I need to revise!' he pointed to his head, which was dyed blonde 'what about you?' he added in a slightly arrogant tone.
'hmm, yeah I've revised a bit, you know how my dad is always telling me to study silently drifting to the night before, my father entered my room, which was decorated with posters of space.
'Jaso you better start revising 'His sigh resounded.' I'm worried about your future, You're 15 without a girlfriend and with your grades, you wouldn't be able to enter let alone get an offer from the university you wanted to apply to. I hope you try harder and secure your future’ He ranted for a time until he stopped and stared into my bright eyes. He wasn't looking with contempt but with worry. I felt regretful for being not being able to make him proud.
The streets narrowed and emphasised the large luxurious gates of my school. Sports cars and limousines were constantly dropping kids off, making the area crowded.

'guys look 'Groups of friends took glances at me and some people just stared. My infamy of being poor had spread around the school since that incident; someone wanted me to suffer and they were succeeding brilliantly...I had gotten used to their looks of ridicule and today I wouldn't have to deal with it any longer.
'Hey Jaso!'hubristically, a blonde tall man walked up to me with his iconic smile. A swelling black hole gorged my insides; I tried to quickly leave and enter school but....'Yo man, don't try to run you weirdo 'his tight grip crushed my feeble shoulder. His friend grabbed my other and they both started dragging me into the small dark alley, The clouds in the sky were gathering. It looked like it was going to rain, just like how it did the day my life changed.
The bell rang so I made my way home as usual. Liam dropped me off at the intersection where he splits. On the way several ambulances and police vehicles made their way towards my home, feeling suffocated I quickly reassured myself nothing had happened at my home.
A large crowd was out on my street; many people shrieking and some parents were dragging their children away whilst looking horrified. suddenly, I could smell a wretched, toxic gas and see inky black ash rising from my house. I sprinted and pushed past the shocked crowd. burnt bodies were laying on the ground: scarred, mutilated and ravaged. my face felt ice-cold as tears ran down my face like a waterfall.
Later I found out that it was a homicide and that it was planned out but after weeks of investigation nothing was found. I had no relatives, no money and no home. I wanted to take revenge and kill the person or people responsible but my life quickly fell apart. I was mentally broken.
Blood streamed like water onto my clothes. the flurry of punches made me dizzy and sick.' Racos, you ready to see the coolest kick ever’ Liams sinister laugh attacked my ears. A sinister light shone deeply in his eyes. I had so many questions to ask him but I never dared to do so. My mind whizzed into a streak of colours and light before it all turned into darkness.
I struggled to get out of the rubbish bin because I was piled under bags of fast food waste. My clothes were covered in blood and smelled like rotting food. A barrage of rain fell onto me making my clothes wet and amplifying the smell. Students were leaving the school and couldn't be bothered about me. The school was finally empty. The interior felt unfamiliar to me as I hadn't ever entered above the first two floors but eventually I found the rooftop. the rain continued to shower me clean until I no longer had any pieces of oily food, but the blood couldn't be washed off.
I made my wishes for my next life if there even was one and thought about all the memories I made throughout the long 18 years.
I had so many regrets but there was nothing I could do.
"I'm sorry mum, dad, sister I loved you to this day and I hope I can see you again".
All that was left on the roof was a pair of shoes covered in blood.
