A small spaceship drifts through the endless and vast space, no planets in sight the space craft looks lonely, no sound, no people, no sights. As it quietly floats towards nothing a woman peers out of the tiny window with a longing look in her eyes, she parts her hair out of her blue eyes, scars surround one eye as the other is covered by her messy hair, she slowly sits up rubbing her eyes, the ship is messy, drinks line the tables, clothes are hung up everywhere and food lies half eaten. She grunts and groans as she gets to her feet, she stretches out as she yawns, as she takes the small walk to the toilet, she glances at a crumpled up photograph of her and 2 children, she looks slightly younger with longer hair, the 2 kids cuddled into her look not much older than 4 or 5. As she steps into the toilet she doesn’t look in the mirror, even when she brushes her teeth her eyes always avert her own gaze, she scratches her stomach as she heads towards the small “kitchen” The fridge is empty, only a single beer sits alone, she sighs and opens it up taking a swig as she rustles through the trash to get to the pilots seat. She drops down staring off into the stars, her eyes water ever so slightly as a deep regret and grief wash over them, the crystal blue of her eyes is almost muted as she continues to drink. The small ship is silent as she takes her final sip of the beer, she throws it behind her adding to the mountain of trash decorating the ship, she wipes her eyes one more time before opening up the ships interface, a large map covers the windows, planets with crosses over the top line the map with a long trail mapped out with a dotted line goes from one cross to the other, she taps her finger on the next planet, information about the planet Sorchus runs down her screen, “Lucious greenery and beautiful waterfalls and more on planet Sorchus, meet the locals and spend your precious money for a great time in the galaxies’ greatest planetary resort!” a robotic voice shills the vacation planet to an unimpressed woman, she cracks her neck as she grabs the handles and pushes forward, the ship stutters and coughs its way along the black sea of stars.
The small rickety ship just about lands on the planet, however instead of the luscious greenery promised by the ships index, the woman is met by baron wastelands, dirt and sand, ripped up buildings and not a beach in sight, she takes a sniff before scrunching up her face “this place smells like shit…” she puts her fingers to her nose trying to get away from the smell, as she steps further out onto the planet the source of the smell quickly becomes clear. A giant dump with small ships surrounding it sits within a large crater in the ground, smaller ships inspect the mount of rubbish and take scraps up towards the larger ship flying just above the enormous trash heap. The woman doesn’t really seem to give it much attention as she walks across the manmade cliffside towards the nearby buildings, the small town sits just atop the crater, as the woman stretches once again, she pulls down her goggles, “update the index of the ship please?” words appear in her goggles “to what?” she sniffs once again before simply saying “shit hole” she lifts her goggles off as she spots a bar in the distance, the only holographic lights in the strangely ancient looking town is “BAR” shifting between different languages. The woman walks through the middle of the town, her small coat flutters in the wind, her goggles keep the hair out of her face, she pulls on her gloves as she swings the bar doors open. Not at all shockingly this was the most populated part of the town by a long shot, she spots an open seat right on the bar, a yellow creature with small spikes protruding from its 4 arms stands in front of her with a tiny bow tie, she says something to it in a different language before it nods and begins pouring her a drink, she swives around on her seat to look around, her gaze stops on an out of place man wearing far more elegant clothes than you’d ever see in a place like this, she takes a drink as the creature sits it next to her while watching as the man fails to converse with the creatures sitting around him, she scoffs and swivels back around. The man confidently tries to talk to the clearly dangerous aliens sitting either side of him, although this confidence was in the face of his completely oblivious nature, “so what do you guys do for fun around here?” the aliens laugh and respond in another language “oh sorry I only know the language of humans…” the two larger aliens look at one another with greed and mischief written across their face.
The woman sits her glass back down on the bar as she reaches into her jacket pocket pulling out the photo that was on the wall of her ship, she uncrumples it as a hint of sadness hits her face, she speaks to the bartender in its language pointing at the two kids in the photo, the alien holds the photograph up to its eye, it pauses before shaking its head and handing her it back, she nods and places it back in her jacket. She hears a glass smash behind her, the two aliens hold a glass shard to the man’s throat, she sighs and watches as the two aliens get more aggressive, they shout at the unfazed man in their language. The man scratches his head “is this how you say cheers here?” the woman asks for another drink, the bartender obliges, the alien lifts the glass above the mans head ready to slam down, just as it begins the woman pulls out a blaster and blasts both of the aliens heads off, in a swift instant the gun swings around in her hand before being placed back in its holster, she doesn’t even look as she takes another drink. The whole bar looks at her as she slowly gets to her feet “does anyone know anything about 2 kids coming this way?” she lifts the picture up, she touches her bracelet creating a hologram of the picture enlarging it, the customers all stare at the photo before she is met with shakes of their heads, she turns off the hologram before heading to the door. The man runs after her “hey wait why’d you kill those two?” she completely ignores him and continues walking back towards her ship “you can pay for my drinks” she waves back at him before pulling down her goggles, the man runs back in the bar and throws credits on the table “the gunslingers payment” the bartender groans as the man sprints back out towards the woman “wait! Let me say thank you” she lifts her goggles “so you did know you were in danger?” the man shrugs “I mean sure, but I could handle myself” the woman unlocks her ship as the man jumps in front of her “just 2 minutes…” the woman stares at the man frustrated before sighing “1 minute… hurry up” the man smiles. He goes to speak to her but pauses “I probably should’ve thought about what I was going to say first actually…” he scratches his chin as she stands there unamused, she taps her foot and stares at her bracelet as it displays the timer slowly running out, the man fumbles his words before rustling his hair in frustration “thanks… I guess” the woman stares back at him “seriously? I waited a minute for a thanks?” the man laughs nervously “well actually I was gonna offer you a job” the woman rolls her eyes “yeah no thanks” the man puts his hands out stopping her “but you must be a bounty hunter with shooting skills like that?” the woman pushes by “I don’t do jobs” the man jumbles his words trying to stop her, just as she is about to close her ship door he shouts “I’ve seen those kids before!” the woman stops dead before slowly turning to him with shocked look, her eyes widened in surprise “y..you’ve seen them before?” he hesitantly nods, she storms back over to him before standing in front of him “where?” a look of desperation is painted across her face as she stares into his eyes, “that’ll be your payment for the job” the woman grows slightly hostile as she clenches her fist before pulling out a cigarette, as she puffs out smoke she takes deep breathes clearly thinking, she eventually throws the cigarette away and turns back to the man “fine…” she then grows angry again, she grabs his shirt and pulls him close, her angered gaze pierces through him “if you’re lying to me I’ll tie you up and drop you on planet Glorcuz” the man gulps “it wont come to that…” she releases her grip “what’s the job?” he takes a deep breath before fixing his collar “you’ll have to hear the details from my boss” she rubs her fore head in frustration “fine get in” she gestures towards the bucket that is her ship, the man awkwardly laughs “oh no we can take my ship” she looks at him with suspicion “and my ship?” the man pulls out a bag and rattles it around “we can buy you a new one” she raises her eyebrows ever so slightly “count it as a deposit for the job” she looks back at her ship hesitantly, before she can make a decision they hear shouting coming from the direction of the bar, a large group of similar aliens to the ones that she killed hold their bodies as they shout at the people just outside the bar. “oh shit… I guess they were in a gang” a patron from the bar points at the two as they stand out in the open, the gang of aliens turn to them in anger, the man scratches his head “you think they are coming after us?” as he turns around she is completely gone, “uh…” he looks around to see her sprinting away “hey!” he tries to chase her but is shot at by the large crew “damn!” he hides behind a rock as he is bombarded by lasers. He curses as the lasers slowly chip away at the rock, the gang shouts in their language as they continue to send a barrage of lasers his way. The man grabs his necklace and holds it close “give me strength” he whispers to himself relying on some kind of faith. Just as he is about to give up he hears a rickety ship begin to rev up, as he looks to his left the woman’s ship flies past, he scoffs “guess she got away at least” the ship flies above the gang, just as the man accepts his fate he hears a voice from beside him “so where’s your ship?” he opens his eyes to see the woman standing before him “I thought you left?” she points towards the gang, the man hesitantly looks out as her ship crashes into the group blowing up in the process killing almost all of them, the man looks back at her completely shocked, she pulls out her gun and he watches on as she swiftly finishes off any remaining survivors, as he tries to get his breath back she shouts over “I don’t have all day!” he sits back in pure shock and relief “who the hell is that woman?”

They stand before a large white ship, the man smirks as he presents it to her “she’s a fine work of art indeed” she doesn’t even react as she heads inside, he slumps over in disappointment, he sighs as he heads inside. She sits in the pilot’s seat as she plays around with the controls “hey!” she leans back before swivelling the seat around to face an annoyed man “so… these bosses of yours?” the man smiles “you’ll see…” she rolls her eyes “not exactly what you want to hear when taking a job is it?” the man presses a button which changes the position of the seats putting her away from the pilot controls and in the back, he smiles as he begins to rev up the engine, the man turns to her “your name?” the woman seems hesitant but still answers “ Tissa” he nods “Samuel” as the ship begins to lift into the sky he looks back at her once again “and those are your kids?” she pulls out her photo once more “you better have information” he looks forward “of course” she puts her hands behind her back as she leans backwards on the chair getting ready for the flight ahead, Samuel grabs a few levers, presses a few buttons and speaks to the ship “take us home Delia” Tissa raises an eyebrow in confusion before the ship speaks back “Right on it Sam…” the ship blasts out of the atmosphere leaving a stream in the sky for the people of the bar to look at as the find the gang members all dead just on their doorstep.
The ship sits above a large planet, Samuel turns to a sleeping Tissa “yo…” he looks at her sleeping and sighs, he walks over and is about to nudge her awake before she pulls out her gun and plants it right on his forehead “don’t come this close to me when I’m sleeping ever again” Samuel slowly backs away with his hands up “I get it…” she yawns as she stands up, she scratches the top of her head with her gun as he looks at her slightly terrified “what?” he awkwardly laughs before pointing at the window “we’re here” Tissa slowly walks over to the large window in front of the pilot’s seat, her face turns from curiosity to slight frustration “seriously?” she groans as Samuel looks confused “what’s wrong?” she points towards the planet, a giant base sits above the planet, a spherical satellite decorated with the colours of the Galactic Saviours, she looks back at him “your bosses aren’t…” he smiles wide “welcome to earth… or should I say the G.S. base of operations” she slumps over “shit…” she looks down at the photo once more before rubbing her forehead in frustration. Samuel stands beside her “I have a feeling you’ll find those two soon enough” Tissa continues to look at the picture of the kids longingly. The white ship sits just above the massive satellite base hovering over earth, a large amount of ships are funnelling in and out of earth, a large flag sits atop the spherical satellite “Earth – Property of the G.S.”
