I looked at my screen to see what number was calling, but it said no caller ID. I was hesitant to answer but I answered none the less.
''H-hello, this is Hayato Toshiro speaking!'' I said.
''H-Hayato'' I heard faintly.
''It's m-me, Sh-Shoji'' I heard.
''S-Shoji..'' I said to myself.
''How are you feeling? are you any better!'' I asked him.
''I- I'm feeling better, still hurt'' he answered.
''W-Where are you right now?! Can I visit you?'' I asked him with a loud voice.
I am so worried about him. That slash was so powerful, I thought he had died! It was so scary when those men took him away, even though they are working under the fishing exams association, I still cannot fully trust them, what if they were lying!
''I'm lying on a hospital bed, b-but I have to talk with my trainer, I-I'll call you later'' he said while coughing.
The call ended and it left me staring at my screen. I want to visit him, but I also want to have this part finished as quickly as possible. Will Shoji even heal by 2 weeks? So many thoughts are going on in my head.
17.40, the second day of the second day of exams.
I have just gotten back home and now I am getting ready to go out fishing. Even though there might not be any good fish to catch in the river by the cliff, it is a start.
Chewchew was energetic as always, I gave him a small blue colored ball to play around with. The sky was bright red, clouds were orange and overall, a beautiful scenery to look at next to a lake.
The water was reflecting the sunlight, even though it's hard to see what's going on, you can feel the warmth in your face. The birds were chirping, the wind was soft.
Suddenly I felt a small pull coming from my fishing rod. Then I felt the line becoming stronger and stronger, almost pulling the rod into the water. With all the strength I had, I pulled up the fishing rod only to see the fishing line was cut off.

''Huh?'' I said quietly.
I quickly took out my fishing equipment box, a box that has fishing lines, reels, hooks, floats, and everything you need for fishing. I tied up a line on the rod and put on a float along with a hook on it.
I looked back at the river to see two yellow-brown bears in the water. I had completely forgotten that the season has already begun.
The Esmalte Morado season takes place during April to May. Esmalte Morado only exist in hot temperature water, countries like Spain, Iran and Thailand. They say that some Japanese tourists had taken with them some and bred them in Japan, they have since then existed in Japan. With Esmalte Morado existing in Japan a new species of bears started appearing, nobody knows how they came to be.
The yellow brown bears have the name Kiken'na hodo odayakana kuma which means Dangerously calm bear. They are calm but can be dangerous when you interfere with their day-to-day life, or only plain old annoy them. These days there are few articles about these bears attacking however back around 60 years ago people we are always getting injured or getting killed because of them.
I know that I'm not supposed to interfere, but I just got a good sign of fish here. Do I dare to continue fishing even though the consequences might be death, or do I fish tomorrow? The float was on the water after I had flown it into the water.
Hands shaking, sweat slowly making its way to my chin, eyes wide open in case of anything happening, I was ready for what felt anything.
I was waiting, and so were the bears. Their color was shining with the sun, it was like it was sparkling. I could hear Chewchew still playing with the ball somewhere behind me, I could hear him panting. Distinguishing the shining sunlight getting reflected from the water, I could see movement with my float, and then suddenly it went into the water.
I could from the corner of my eye see one of the bears completely diving into the water right next to my float, he is trying to steal my fish!
