There he was, a man with conviction walking amongst the sunkissed arctic snow. He smiled at what he was faced with, but he wasn’t too relaxed. He was worried about the fact that he was alone, and that the rest of the crew was to arrive soon.
He kept walking until he arrived at a snowy hill, for which he was told to climb. The hike up was a little more difficult for him, due to him carrying his supplies on his back. He was experiencing regret overtaking too many things, but he thought that a vehicle would have transported him to the facility.
As he ascended the slope, his excitement grew at the idea of finally achieving his dreams and becoming a researcher in a facility. Ever since he was young, he would stare at the ice, and think about how it melted in the cups of his parent's “special drinks”.
That little fascination exponentially grew with his discovery of global warming, mixed in with a little heroism from his favorite superheroes. All these little factors and influences created the man that is known today.
A man in love with helping the world one ice cube at a time. He wanted to be a hero and save the world, but the older he got… the more he realized that the heroes that could fly and shoot laser beams were only on the television and that the heroes in real life were those that would heal people, and innovate.
The hypothesis he had created about the flight was disproven when he decided to jump off of his cabinet wearing his childhood blanket as a cape. His majestic leap broke his leg and he was forced to lie in his bed for a week in disbelief at what had happened.
As he arrived at the top of the hill and laughed at his past. He was met with a beautiful sight. In front of him stood the facility in all of its glory. It was surrounded by pure white snow, lit by the sun's warm rays.

At that moment he felt like he was properly accomplished. A man that had finally proven his worth to himself. He was finally on top of the world, looking down at what he worked so hard to accomplish.
He started to make his way down the hill trying not to fall onto his face, he tries fighting the acceleration he is forced to undergo due to the weight on his back. He uses more energy to move his body as he has to raise his leg above the snow, as his prints aren't the most shallow.
His hurried trip down the slope ends as he reaches the ground. He takes a few seconds to catch his breath. He then continues walking, leaving traces of footprints in the sand with their only companion being the hauntingly beautiful sounds of the winds as they traverse the area.
He arrives at the entrance to the facility which was basically stainless steel wall with an outline for the sliding door. Next to the outline is a small box with a slit. It is where the card is supposed to be inserted.
He takes out his card and puts it in the slit. It gets read, and after he waits for a few moments a loud voice roars. “Welcome to the CERA Facility, Mr. John Wilkes!” after that was uttered, the door swung apart, and he walked into the facility.
To his right, he found a button with a lit sign above it saying “Press to close.”, which he gladly pressed, and after the door shut, the facility started to get warm. Next to the button was an overhead map of the facility.
The facility has a pentagonal shape with domes at the vertices and connecting tunnels to the largest room which was the laboratory in the middle. The five domes in the vertices are the sleeping quarters, kitchen, leisure, bathroom, and supply room.
The largest dome was the laboratory dome which was in the middle of the structure, connected to the kitchen, bathroom, and leisure room. He looks away from the map, and drops his bag, heading off to explore the facility.
