The blinding light from the hallway spilled into the Principal’s office as two guards stormed in, their faces hidden behind dark visors. Kazuki’s heart dropped, and instinctively, he reached for his powers. But before he could react, a cold, mocking voice echoed through the room.
“Well, well, what do we have here?”
The Principal himself stood in the doorway, his menacing presence sending chills down Kazuki’s spine. His piercing gaze swept over the group, and he smiled—a cruel, knowing smile.
“You really thought you could outsmart me? I knew about your little rebellion from the start.”
Yumi, Haruto, and Mei froze, their faces pale with fear. Kazuki’s mind raced as he tried to figure out a way to escape. But the Principal wasn’t finished.
“You’ve all been so… entertaining,” the Principal continued, his voice dripping with condescension. “But this is where it ends. I’ll make examples of you all. The rest of the students will see what happens when they defy the government.”

Kazuki felt a surge of anger. This was the moment they had all feared, but they couldn’t back down now. He clenched his fists, his powers stirring within him.
“You can’t control us forever,” Kazuki said, his voice steady despite the fear gnawing at him. “We know the truth now.”
The Principal raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. “The truth? Oh, Kazuki, you don’t even know the half of it. You think you’re special because of your powers, but you’re just a pawn in a much larger game.”
Kazuki’s eyes widened in shock. “What are you talking about?”
The Principal’s smile widened. “You’ll find out soon enough. Take them.”
Before Kazuki could react, the guards moved in, their hands reaching for him and his friends. Kazuki tried to use his powers to bend space, but something was wrong—he couldn’t focus. His vision blurred, and a strange dizziness overtook him.
“No!” Yumi shouted as she fought back, but the guards overpowered her, dragging her toward the door.
Mei tried to cast an illusion, but she was too panicked to concentrate. Haruto was already restrained, his glasses knocked to the floor.
Kazuki struggled, his mind racing. He couldn’t let this happen. But before he could do anything, the world around him went dark.
