My world was a cosmic painting of endless black and star filled galaxies, but unlike the stillness, when viewed through a telescope, everything was moving at an alarming pace. It was as if the galaxies were alive, one came too close for my liking, so I hit it.

The galaxy exploded, and there after remained still, slowly the light in the individual stars winked out of existence.

The epicentres of the other galaxies started moving erratically, I walked up to one and used my Death Touch ability, and its lights went out instantly.

“Fascinating!”

They looked like they were about to try run away, maybe to bring back reinforcements, not on my watch! I used one of my abilities off by heart.

“Grim Memorial.”

I watched as the galaxies of light froze in place and slowly from the ground up begin to lose their illumination. One of the light seemed to be flashing erratically, was this it dying perhaps? A searing red light exploded from the little galaxy. It came so fast, there was no time to dodge, no time to think, my universe of light quickly turned to dark...

It was so dark, so empty, so alone. I would have given anything to touch someone, touch anything...

A small green light sparked into existence in the distance, it beat like an open heart, every beat beckoning me to approach it. When I got near the beats quickened and the desire to be near it grew inside me. I knew that if I could reach that green light I would no longer be alone.
