Chapter 5

Scales and Honor: Swirling Storm

Chapter 5

“This place is huge!” Jandar gasped as Ramakox brought the child swooping towards a vast vine covered palace of trees. They had flown for several weeks into the northern land of Lumara, in their quest to go see the oracle dragon called The Emerald Lady.

Ramakox had made sure to stay far enough away from the towns and villages that dotted the countryside of this place. His eyes had always kept a keen watch on the blue skies, trying to spot any airship that may have spotted them. They rested for brief times during the days, to separate the long distance flying that he had been doing. During the nights they kept close in places that were not easy to spot from above, and the dragon continued to share stories to the boy to keep his spirits up. Mostly they were about the Emerald Lady, since the boy had decided to ask question after question about her. He chuckled at the idea that she would be amused with the boys apparent obsession of her.

They were bound for the forest of despair. The great place stretching out for miles and miles in Lumara. It was close to the mortal capital of Entis he had learned, a great place that no dragon would want to go. He pushed the idea from his mind how crazy the dragoness was. To live so close to a nation that has a thing against dragons..Perhaps it is a statement on how powerful she is...that she can make a thriving home here...without worry. He thought back to when she and him had met during his younger days, and he was trying to make a name for himself. He remembered spending several nights within her forest, listening to her words. He sighed, recalling the nights of passion that she had shared with him. Teaching him things at the time he did not know. He shook his head softly, trying to not get caught up with fond memories of mating the green dragoness.

“And this...Emerald Lady lives here?” the boy asked in a hushed whisper as Ramakox set him down before the great vine covered door. The dragon arched his neck and worked out a kink as he shook his scales with a series of soft clinks.

“Is she scary?”

“She can certainly be that at times.” Ramakox chuckled, snaking his snout close to the worrying child to give him a reassuring smile. “I know her from ages past though, and every time I have met her has been most pleasurable.” He growled gently in the back of his throat, memories of her writhing under him as he knotted her coming to mind. “So push from your mind the concern that lingers there. Remember the tale of Thesus the brave.”

“I know the story.” Jandar rolled his eyes with a soft sigh. “Be brave, use your head.” the boy tapped his skull gently with his pointer finger, as Ramakox gave him a pleased croon.

“Good, keep your head up and your heart strong!;” He rose and placed both of his claws on the door. He tensed his muscles and grit his teeth, and the door opened with a mighty shove.

“Are you sure she will be here?” the boy's question lingered in the blue dragon's mind until the door opened up completely and let the sunlight from behind them shine into the darkened hallway.

Ramakox nodded, “Stay close.” he wrapped his wing around the child and started guiding him carefully into the darkness that lingered in the hallway. “She tends to keep things in the dark here.”

“Why would she want to live in the dark?” Jandar asked, moving closer to the blue dragon.

“She doesn't live in the dark all the time.” Ramakox's eyes traced the hallways before them, making sure to keep Jandar close to him at all times and away from the pedestals that he knew the boy could not see. “She likes to keep areas that mortals would see in darkness, on account that most of you don't have good sight in the dark.” He sighed as he brought the boy around a corner, his tail dragging along the floor. “She likes to have the upper hand in any situation she is in.”

“Oh.” the boy wrinkled his brow as Ramakox watched him hold his hand in front of him, as if the dragon was not looking out for him at every moment.

“You're safe.” The blue dragon said softly as he watched the human like a concerned mother would her hatchlings. “You need not hold out your hands.”

“Can't help it...instinct.”

They both stopped for a moment when the door far behind them slammed shut, the sound radiating through the halls and making Ramakox's tail twitch in response. “Shhh...Stay calm.” he said with a kind voice when he noticed that Jandar was shivering. “I am right here Jandar, you have nothing to fear.”

The boy took a deep breath, his trembling slowly stopping with each passing of Ramakox's feet upon the floor. “Thanks.”

“Not needed. Just focus on you being able to cast magic. Surely it is worth a few scares and quickly beating hearts?”

“I suppose so.” Jandar sighed, crossing his arms. “But I don't like walking in the dark, and having to rely on you for my eyes.

“Sometimes you need others to be successful Jandar..No one can be perfect.”

“Does this include dragons?” the boy smiled, as if he were crafty and going to snare the blue dragon with his words.'

“Yes that does include dragons.” he replied quickly without much thought. Of course dragons are not perfect....even if we are grand. “Not the answer you were looking for?Hmmmm?” he snaked his snout down to smile at the disappointed looking human. He was about to remind his human about one of the numerous stories he had told him over the years, but he never got the chance.

From the floor rose the ruler of the great forest that rested outside this natural palace. The Emerald Lady spread her vast lime green colored membranes wide, causing purple torches to light the corridor with an eerie glow, that caused Jandar to shout out in surprise. The human wrapped his limbs in terror around the blue dragon's forelimb.

“Emerald Lady.” Ramakox said flatly, not surprised in the slightest by her sudden arrival. He had known she loved to do this and gain an immediate upper hand on her guests. His lack of reaction made her glowing purple eyes focus squarely on him as she looked down at him. For as tall as Ramakox was, she was almost double his height.

Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.

“Ramakox.” she said in draconic with an amused tone as she landed on the floor with a gust of wind that brushed his scales. “This is certainly a....surprise.” Her eyes drifted towards the mortal near his paws, and with her grin, he doubted the validity of her statement.

“You know why I am here...You have the gift to see into the future...I know it has been a long time, but I have not forgotten.” He smiled, chuckling to himself when he saw her return it.

“You know it is rude to enter my forest without my permission. I have turned others to stone for such a transgressions.” Her voice rose as she took a forceful step towards the blue dragon, but he did not flinch in the slightest. For Ramakox knew this was another game she was playing, to intimidate him and gain the upper hand.

Ramakox however stood his ground and continued to look to the dragoness in silence as she took another step towards him. “I have come here to ask of you a favor.” he said flatly, his eyes never leaving hers once.

“Hmmpf.” The Emerald Lady turned away from him,her tail running the underside of his chin, and for a brief moment he thought he saw her flash him her nether regions. Surely she wasn't though...it has been years.. She gestured with her neck for him to follow her. “Is that so? You know what I trade for favors, and it cannot be bought with coins.” She arched her head back to him with a grin. “Even if old friends come to visit me in my home.”

“I doubt you would call anyone friend.” he chuckled. “You don't need to butter me up with sweet words.

“Oh yes..How could I forget.” She turned around and snaked her snout so that it was close to his, and she grabbed his snout softly with a claw. “The strong and defensive Ramakox.” She laughed, playfully smacking him on the snout before resuming her walk down the glowing hallway. Once again her tail swished from side to side, lifting enough for him to see under it. With his next breath he could smell her arousal in the air, making him growl lustfully in the back of his throat.

I have never heard of her making that kind of deal. Ramakox thought with a mischievous grin. But I will certainly take her up on that given the chance...It has been far too long. He continued along with the Emerald Lady as she led them from the darkened hallways to a room that was lit by mana lanterns, and smelled like lilacs in the summer wind. His eyes traced along her scales, that seemed to shimmer in the soft glow of the torches. From her his gaze fell to a vast bed of soft things, most likely the finest silks and other materials in the land. She had numerous wardrobes, pedestals, and other various things to dot this vast room that stretched at least three times the dragoness' height. Curiously she had a small amount of gold and gems, far less than a dragoness of her age should have had. although if he remembered correctly, she kept people as her treasure instead, and he certainly knew the Emerald Lady wasn't weak at all.

“Mother!” came a sound of two loud, young sounding voices from behind one small mound of treasure. Not a moment after, two green dragons the height of Jandar's waist came bounding out from behind the mound. Their scales were the same color of the dragoness before them, with black scaled chests, talons, and horns.

“Little ones!” Emerald Lady called out softly as he two wrymlings bounded over to her with smiles on their snouts.

“Now who are these little scamps?” Ramakox chuckled as Jandar let go of his limb with a smile.

“baby dragons!” he exclaimed, then pointing to the dragons with excitement lingering in his voice.

“Yes, yes.” Emerald Lady nuzzled her wrymlings against the frills that lined their spines with small purrs. When she was done subjecting them to her loving nuzzles, she moved onto licking their little green and black snouts next. She pointed to the wyrmling with a yellow stripe near the tail side of his wing membrane. “This ones name is Cordenth, and the wrymling here with the zigzags is Lyyreth.”

Both of her children at the mere mention of their names swelled up their chests, and held their heads high. This only lasted for a brief moment before both of the dragons were bounding over to Jandar and offering him some curiosity filled sniffs, causing the child to giggle. “Who..are you?” Lyyreth tilted his head as Cordenth narrowed his eyes.

“I'm Jandar!” the boy exclaimed with genuine happiness. His face was covered with a smile, causing Cordenth to pull his head away with his frills fluttering.

“Now run along little ones....Swirling Storm and I have much things to discuss.” She lowered her head to playfully nose the wrymlings with her snout. Then she turned to Jandar with her focused eyes. “That includes you a well little mortal.

“W-what?” The human looked up to Ramakox with a face of worry for a moment. Although it quickly faded away when the blue dragon gestured to the green wrymlings who looked absolutely happy.

“Yay! We get a mortal to play with!” Cordenth smiled his tail wagging behind him, the wrymling nosed Jandar playfully as Lyyreth laughed. “Do you like princesses Jandar?...Or stories?

“How about magic? Or reading?” Lyyreth took position on the other side of the human, curiously sniffing his clothes as well. “Are you from the coast? You smell like the sea!”

Jandar laughed to the wrymlings and told them he was from Drenedar, and by a village called east cliff. They led him away with laughing tails and twitching frills. “So what do you do for fun around here?” the boy asked, his voice starting to fade away as they reached the end of the hall.

“Loads of stuff, follow me!” shouted Lyyreth, no doubt by the sounds of joyous cries that he had started bounding down the hall with the others chasing him.

“You're being most trustful with him.” Ramakox gestured with a claw to mean Jandar. “I am surprised that you would let him play with your children.” he gave a rumble as she started to inch towards him with a grin,

“I know the mortal is yours, and a small bit of trust is to be expected...besides..your...Jandar was it? Should have some fun before undergoing the ritual that you seek to be done.”

Ramakox frowned as she led him through the hallways once again to a dark room, magically darkened so that his dark vision could not pierce it's inky blackness. In the center of the room was a large stone cauldron that had purple smoke rising from it's lips and spreading to the floor below. “Having future sight would be so helpful at times.” he mumbled, thinking to the numerous times in his own life how it could have changed outcomes to be in his favor. “If you know why I am here....Will my idea pay off in the future? The one with the boy?”

Emerald Lady sat down beside the cauldron, letting out a long drawn out yawn before gazing back to him. “You know I can't reveal the future sometimes, Especially if that knowledge might sway your decisions...and despite me knowing..” Her eyes darkened to be a soft shade of lavender. “I wish to hear the words from your maw.”

Ramakox sighed deeply, as he dipped his head low before her. Of course she would want him to beg her for it. Its how she works after all. He lowered his body into a bow and unfurled his wings low. “I Ramakox ask of thee Emerald Lady to assist in helping my mortal be able to cast spells. I have tried to teach him everything I know to cast spells, the books of a wizard, the heart of a sorcerer, but he seems unable to do so. The boy does everything perfectly, but it is if something were missing from him.”

“Good.” she slithered over with a grin, and licked his snout softly with her tongue. Just like she had done all the other times she had her way with him over the years. “Let us take pleasure before diving into the unpleasantness that will be this ritual.” She intertwined her neck around his, and pushed the blue dragon slowly onto his back with a lust filled grumble.

Ramakox groaned lustfully as his scaled limbs were pressed down by the larger dragoness to the floor, pinning his body in place. He moaned into her maw when she parted his own with hers, and snaked her long tongue into his mouth. He could do nothing but squirm as she held him firmly in place with a grip like steel. He could feel his lust rising with each pleased snort and breath of her musky rising arousal. He gave a soft rumble from his throat when he started to feel the soft drips of her juices leaking onto his scales. He could not help himself, and his maleness rose from his sheath like lightning.

“Ready to experience the days of old?” she broke the kiss with a chuckling laugh, vines growing up from the ground to wrap around his limbs and pull him firmly against the floor.

“That I am my flower lilly.” he rumbled, his old nickname for her causing her to release a trilling noise from her maw.

They mated again and again for the next few hours. They would try different positions, some requiring her to shrink down so he could mount her. They would gasp, moan and cry out into the air with each pleasured thrust. Each encounter would end with them roaring out into the air. It was after the sixth time that they were left panting and twitching on the floor when she held up a claw to stop him.

“That is plenty pleasure I think for now.” she smirked, licking him across the snout. “There will be plenty of time after, for more.” she rumbled, laying down and licking herself clean.

Ramakox shrugged and went about cleaning himself just like she was doing. It did not take long for him to clean himself. He gave a low rumble as he rose his head to see that the Emerald Lady had finished cleaning herself as well “That was excellent as always.” he sighed, thumping his tail in delight. “Makes me want to write a few books about it, catelogue the pleasurable ways the Emerald Lady can make a dragon beg in need.

“As were you Ramakox.” she chuckled. “It is not that hard to get dragons to beg for me.” She once again let out a large yawn, and rose to stretch like a cat with a rumbling purr. She resettled her haunches onto the floor with her tail curled around her. “Now back to the matter of the boy.”
