Chapter One: Shambles and Shreds
Saxon wakes with a start, his body-centered within a large cobbled cell. He feels the cold stones on his bare legs, his breath making large clouds of vapor in the cold crisp air. However, this is only the beginning of his worries. Saxon rakes through his mind, trying to remember his purpose, yet coming to no clear conclusion. Confused, he makes his way across the room to a short table and chair, not fit for the form of a human. While not the smartest, he still comes to the logical conclusion that he is far far away from home. With a sigh, Saxon sits himself down in the comically small chair, thinking that an answer would spring itself into his head with enough time.
For many, this approach might seem outlandish, almost foolish. However, Saxon has all the time in the world. Although he may look human, he has been branded with the curse of the husk. Saxon unknowingly walks a tightrope between life and death, slowly teetering to the edge then regaining balance. His body may be immortal, but his soul is slowly chipping away with each passing moment, slowly becoming a shell of the person he was before.
Suddenly, Saxon had thought of a plan. However, one must remember that Saxon is not the sharpest tool in the shed. His plan was very simple. Since the cell wall was beginning to crumble from the decay of time, there were many loose bricks. Saxon, with great dexterity, picked up a large piece of rubble from the ground and threw it at the cell doors. Although this plan may seem quite ridiculous, it worked. As if graced by god himself, the stone piece shattered a circular hole through the cell doors with ease.

Saxon is bewildered and proceeds to investigate the door further. To a keen eye, one would notice that the door was riddled with large patches of rust. They would also notice the slight water drip coming from the ceiling, hitting the door on the way down. Through many many years, this door could theoretically be rusted all the way through.
It just so happens that this prison is as old as the gods themselves, so Saxon's situation is quite a lucky one. Although the rock made a circular hole through the door, the chair in the room made quite a large impact... Saxon proceeds to climb through the bars of his stone cage. He enters into a long rectangular hallway with no deviating entranceways except at the end. Just a long empty corridor, the torches obviously burnt out from age. However, Saxon can see a light glowing softly in the distance. Naked, besides a loincloth around his waist, Saxon decides that he has nothing to lose and begins to proceed down the hallway.
Once he reaches the end, he reaches a doorway that enters into a small square room. This room has 3 doors, one on each wall. Unlike the door to his cell, these doors are stable, 2 of them being locked. However, one of these doors has been left slightly ajar, which piques Saxon’s interest.
