After leaving the cafe they browsed other interesting stores. Yatsu noticed that Sasha never let go of his hand or arm. It was honestly a dream come true.
When she looked up at him from his chest her eyes twinkled like a little girl’s.
Yatsu smelled Sasha’s hair and felt her warmth leaning against him. He desperately fought back the need to touch her, caress her, anything, something.
Sasha, your touch…. maybe going to your place isn't such a great idea. Maybe I should put up with my sister sooner than later and we just go to my place. I’ll tell her.
“Hey Sasha-”
“Yatsu look, let’s check it out!”
She ignored his words at the sight of an accessory store and dragged him in behind her.
Shirts, hats, key-chains, dolls, bracelets and anything else you can think of were lined across the walls and displayed in tables. Sasha overlooked the first half of the store completely and dragged him to the glass counters in the back, where the more expensive items were on display.
Rings?
His mind spun as he’d never thought about buying a ring for a girl. A ring that a girl like Sasha would be happy to wear.
Her free hand sailed over the top of the glass display until it stopped and pointed at something.
“Can I try that on?” She asked the clerk behind the counter.
The clerk eyed Yatsu like a wolf as he reached in and pulled out something much bigger than a ring.
Sasha let go of Yatsu and gently took hold of the item. She stared at it wide-eyed for a moment and marveled at its beauty before she placed it on her head.
With a bright smile and a pink face she turned to Yatsu.
He didn't hear her speak. Something fuzzy hit the back of his head like he forgot something important.
“Yatsu~!” Sasha pulled him back to reality and then repeated her question. “Do you like it?”
The tiara she placed on her head sat crooked.
Yatsu chuckled and removed the tiara to admire it a moment before placing it back on the counter for the clerk to put away.
“Maybe if you didn't wear your hair in pigtails it would fit you better,” Yatsu nodded to the clerk as to thank him for wasting his time.
Sasha frowned at Yatsu but nodded.
“Ya, Eva makes the better princess anyway,” she said taking hold of his arm again. “Where to next?”
“I think I’m done browsing through stores,” Yatsu said and yawned.
“Then… m-my place?” Her eyes sparkled.
Yatsu nodded hesitantly and together they walked out of the accessory store.
