Sometimes, weird things happen.
A deity accidentally drops something from Aether into a mortal realm, or a being from another world suddenly appears in another. As an example, the Moong Dynasty, one of the most successful and long-lasting empires on Ankara, fell to ruin because a kraken fell on the emperor. It's not known why this happened, or how the kraken even got on the sky, but it still happened.
Sometimes, even weirder things happen.
Like right now.
"Cease your resistance, Neses!"
"Never! I will not let my work fall into your vile hands!"; Neses barked back at Asyris as the sky trembled under the Sovereign's power.

"Well then, you only have yourself to blame! Behold!" Asyris roared.
"[Spear of the Heavenly Lighting]!"
Asyris drew his hand back as a spear of pure lighting condensed to being. The world seemed to flex around it as if the spear's power was too much for it to continue existing for long. Asyris roared to the skies and threw the spear of lighting straight towards his adversary.
The spear broke reality itself apart as it blasted through the air. Neses, panicked as he was, desperately dashed away from the matter-breaking missile. Miraculously, he managed to avoid the spear of certain death.
Only for it to strike the object of the two godlike men's desire. The moment the tip touched the side of the bottle full of mysterious, swirling fluid, the world simply broke around the bottle. Black, no, colorless cracks spear around the point of contact and swallowed everything around it.
Right until it didn't. The cracks disappeared as quickly as they had appeared, revealing that everything it touched had...
...remained the same.
Except for the bottle.
Elsewhere.
A rock lay in a cave. A blue rock at that. Actually, it's a sapphire. An unpolished gemstone, fine and large enough that if revealed to the world, every royal family would gladly accept it to their treasuries.
Then, with a barely audible "bop" there appeared a bottle right above the sapphire. And, with a loud "Crack", it broke as it fell on the rock.
The content of the bottle absorbed itself into the aqua-blue sapphire.
