Santa's realm - Chapter 4 - A Meal?

Jack was bewondered by the little girl. Altough she was twice as big as him, she looked small and fragile. Altough her posture radiated an killing intent. Her body was also was slender and delicate. She looked just like an overgrown girl that was around the same age as him. The only thing that was different from a normal girl were the 2 dark white ice horns on her head, but even these looked normal and harmless around her.

While Jack kept staring at the girl who was walking around in the garden. Santa had spoken his words at the castle and his voice was now spreading over the whole continent. Even in this ice town under the earth his voice penetrated. While Jack was idolizing the girl he suddenly heard santa's voice.

"In and about ten years from now i will die and to pass my legacy to someone else i'll hold a tournament. This tournament will be holded three years from now at my castle in the capital. I welcome every race and every person under the age of 20 to come and join the tournament. But long ago common people stopped learning the holy Race Arts and the Arts of nature. Because of this i will spread the arts through our world again and will organize small tournaments with prizes all around the country. Now go and spread the news. That my realm will be a realm of cultivators again!"

When Jack heard this voice he was so scared that he fell over the side of the balcony and landed with a lot of noise in the garden. The girl noticed the sounds that Jack made while he fell and she began to take upon a defensive stance, while walking towards the noise.

Jack laid down on the ground until santa had spoken his words. After that he stood up and began to look for an exit. Because even though the girl was beautifall, Jack could also see that she wasn't normal. In the end he found 2 possible exits. He found one exit on his left side and one exit on his right side. Next to that there was also an exit at the other side of the garden, but that exit was to far and the route took him first to one of the other exits before he could get to the one on the other side.

After looking for the exits Jack wanted to know the location of the girl. With that info he could decide which exit would have a higher rate of succes. This was because both exit were around 100m away and the route towards the exit were also nearly the same at both sides. It did not take Jack long to find the girl, because she was only 10m away from him and at this moment she was walking straight towards Jack.

At this moment he could do three things. Run and hope that he makes it, create a distraction or to stay hidden in the bushes he was in. This 3rd option was possible because the bush he was in was higher than he was. Most plants in this area were.

Jack chose to throw a stone towards one of the exits and then run towards the one on the other side when the girl was nearing the stone. But when Jack threw the stone, the girl jumped in the air and catched it. The catching itself wasn't that special, but the jump she made was. She jumped 6 meters in the air that's 1.5 times her own height!

After she catched the stone she landed a few meters front of Jack. She then let herself fall so that she could easily catch Jack. The moment Jack noticed what was going on, it was already to late. The girl had already catched him before he could react. After Jack was catched he could not do anything. He was just like a toddler catched in the arms of an adult.

Then the girl walked with Jack in her arms out of the garden. They went through a few hallways until they arrived at one that was damaged way more then the rest. At the end of the hallways was a black door. This door had a few bumps on it, but looked in whole the least damaged thing in this hallway. At first it looked like the door was made out of Metal, but when you looked closer you could see that it was made of ice. This type of ice looked like the ice that had the ice energy in it, but the ice energy in the door felt stronger and more desolate.

When the girl arrived at the door she knocked a various amount of time with different pauses in between. After she was done knocking the ice door opened. Behind this door was a huge cave. This cave had a whole village in it. There were animals and roads, playing children and working adults. The cave looked like it was created by persons and not by nature. While Jack was amazed by everything that happended within the city, the girl walked through the city with large steps.

After a while Jack noticed that the people in the village were very subservient towards the girl. Everyone went out of her way and nobody dared to look her directly in the eye. It was almost as if they were scared for her. This made Jack feel comfortable while it at the other side made him more alert and on his guard.

After a while the girl arrived at a big longhouse. The longhouse looked very important because it had no houses around it. This was very strange because the space in a xave is limited so it would be normal to use it wisely. The girl walked inside the longhouse and walked inside one of the rooms. In this room were a few persons discussing something. The girl did not care about them and only looked towards the man at the other end of the table, she then interrupted their discussion with "Daddy, i have caught a meal for us" and she threw Jack on the table that was between her and the man at the other end of the table.
