Kael flipped back to the Cycle of Samsara and out of paranoia of jumping into a pit dug by the author, he flipped to the end of the item grants, trying not to read them. Near the end he saw an item that seemed simple enough to be ok to purchase so he decided to grab it. The entry itself read, On your tenth birthday you will find an interspatial ring. Cost: 1 Karma per 5 cubic meters of storage. Seeing this and remembering these things were the godsend of all packrats, Kael spent 20 karma to buy a huge 100 cubic meter storage ring.
A few pages further in he finally found the section he was looking for. This section actually increased your statistics and he was excited since his line of thought was someone can steal your grandpa's ring but they can’t steal your attributes.
Scratching the back of his head, Kael outlined what he considered were the good ones.
This looks good, The Blessing of Nuwa. Not sure who she is but it gives spiritual growth and willpower, also its cheap! (Cost 50)
This looks good too;
Saint crafter in a past life. 50% reduction on the challenge of knowledge checks, easier to enter into professions, high ranked craftsmen are blessed with a recipe each time they advance a rank. (Cost 20)
Hmm, there are other saints too,Martial Saint, the People Saint, The Beggars Saint, the… Screw the saints what else do we have here? Heavenly treasures, didn’t I just skip these things? Oh these are consumables. Save your life once talisman only costs 5 points? PURCHASE! Heavenly fruit increases a stat by 1 for 10 points? PURCHASE! Heavenly fruit that cuts the marrow and washed the bones increasing talent by 1 for 20 points? PURCHASE! Titan’s Balls? What the hell kind of person names a fruit after a races family jewels? Oh well look at that effect! Increases titan bloodline by 10% and increases strength by 2 flat points for 20 points? PURCHASE! Ohh need to buy bloodlines should save some points, but oooo look at these sound sweet!

After the sudden purchase spree Kael’s mind cleared up. He quickly did the Math and found he had spent 395 Karma so far. Looking at the purchases he remembered the A-demon was going to give him a saint package for 1000 and wondered if he that guy was trying to rip him off. Still Kael thought to himself, I should go buy my bloodlines and affinities before I waste anything else.
Flipping forward Kael landed at the beginning of the bloodlines. There was everything you could think of there. From basic animals and magic beasts all the way to saint beasts. There were also bloodlines of the divine beast, strange races, and all of their sub-race bloodlines. Flipping until he found the Titan bloodline he gasped as it cost 300 karma. 300 fucking karma he thought to himself, Holy shit i wonder if they would let me be tortured for another 200 days to get it for free.
Reading the details he soon found out why. Enhances one's control over the metal affinity, increases strength by 20 points, increases one’s body and stamina by 10 each.
Screw it, I am buying it, that will make my strength like 34, average joe has a 5, that means my dude could play football(American) and throw the players to each other instead of the ball. Well if bloodline increase the control over the elements I should buy a wood one for crafting.
Looking through the bloodlines Kael absolutely could not find one for wood. Wishing his dream had google in it he flipped to the good ol’ fairy section. Since his family on earth swears they had fairy blood (because of their last name) he actually knows a bit about them. Only, Kael wished he could think of something a bit more masculine.
After flipping through for a while Kael was surprised by the level of depth of this book. The Fae were split into each element and had listings of races from planes and worlds he had never even heard of before, and more interesting, he found what he was looking for in a listing that could have been from earth. Reading more in-depth the Fae he was staring at was a fire fae that was once a demigod but had been demoted and kicked back into the mortal world by his opponents, the wooden fae of the seelie court. In a rage the fae camouflaged himself as a wood fae and submerged into the seelie court. From there he fed the seelie courts most pure blooded princess a love potion, got her pregnant, then burnt his life force and soul to eternally curse her bloodline. The curse would make her bloodline forever fertile and forever tainted with the blood of fire.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Reading this Kael had two thoughts, fairies are mean, and damn that guy wanted some vengeance. Reading the benefits though he thought he found a keeper. Bloodline cost 300, increases the control over fire and wood elements. Increases intelligence, agility, and willpower by 10. As wood stokes fire, all fire techniques or use of fire can either double in might or reduce the usage cost by half.
Thinking that bloodlines are too expensive, he reluctantly transferred it to his sheet. Upon transfer a voice appeared in his mind, “This soul previously had blood of the fae, purchase considered as a legacy, cost reduced by half”. Hearing those words he bounced out of his chair, grabbed his hair and shouted out in joy. Afterwards he stopped, looked around to make sure no one saw him, then wondered why that would make him so happy. It was strange, like the joy came from deep within his soul. After doing some math he was even more happy, his purchase should have pushed him up to 995 karma spent, but with the reduction it was only 845. Enough to finish his affinities and unlock his talents.
Flipping to afinities he found it would cost 25 karma for each split. He chose fire as his primary, then selected 10% wood and 10% metal as his secondaries for 50 points. Flipping to talents he found he could unlock a specific talent tree for 25 each, or all for 100. Figuring he might have to tinker later and he was too lazy to look up alchemy and blacksmithing, he transferred the “all” to his sheet. Left with 5 points he purchased a second life saving talisman and went back to review his new character.
