Waking up to the sound of hustle and bustle of the house.
Wood being chopped on the back.
Sam looked around and was greeted with a wonderful ray of sunlight through her window.
Lightening up her room.
Hurriedly rubbing her eyes and getting dressed, she heads down.
Greeting her brother's
"Morning everyone"
And hearing her brother's reply while heading into the kitchen out back.
Noticing the boiling pot of meat and herbs while the smell of freshly baked starbread scented the air.
Quickly washing up her face with the cool water from the jar they filled up yesterday.
Her brother Calum was grumbling and sweating while chopping some firewood noticed Sam.
He smiled and greeted her

"Mornin lil sis could you help me taste the soup, think it's kinda salty?"
Noding Sam moved towards the boiling pot.
"Mornin cal. You still up for fishing latter?" she asked as she picked and ripped a piece of bread, soaking it in the soup and took a taste.
"Yup the elder asked if we could bring him some to make fish stew, which means we wouldn't need to cook dinner." Calum said as he wiped off his sweat and hollered. "Alright brother mark and al. Im done chopping wood, help me stack the firewood up back."
Adding some more spice to the pot Sam brought the cooled bread inside and placing it on the table as her brother's went outside to help.
Heading out again Sam took a peek at their mothers room.
Seeing her lovely tired stricken form sleeping soundly. Sam sighed that she can't grow fast enough to help her mom.
Heading back to the kitchen just in time to see her brother's laughing happily.
Mark the oldest was taller and broader than the others, had his arm around Alvin.
Calum the youngest was albeit shorter was more burly and rubost looking due to all the hard work he likes to do.
Alvin being in the middle was much more normal in that regard but had bulging arms due to all the farm work he does.
Seeing Sam they hurriedly help her carry the pots and wooden bowls back to the house.
Setting it up on the table. They sit down and pray to the goddes of harvest for their meal.
Once done they would all take a piece of bread and a bowl of mixed meat, veggies and soup.
Having a hearty breakfast for the long day ahead.
Sam couldn't help but smile at the sight of her brother's eating like there's no tomorrow.
Seeing their smilling, serious and laughing around the table made her heart light.
Remembering that no matter what happens she will always have her family to lean back on.
