The bell rang and the classes ended.....

Gently pats the head of the girl,

“Hey, I have a crush on you,” I said.

Everyone in the room was surprised by the words that came out of my mouth. 

"Okay,"she said as she turned her head towards me. 

 "It seems that the girl thinks of it as a joke. But oh well, I don't really care since it is already part of my plan," I murmured to myself.

To avoid the crowd I left the room immediately but as soon as I left the room my friend, Leonard asked me,

"Are you sure of continuing this 'prank' of yours?" he said as he leaned on the wall, wearing a very serious look.

"Yes," I replied to him returning him with an even more serious look, "I've started it, I can't go back now."

I went home immediately to plan the next thing I'll do. I went directly to my room, turned the laptop on and began to analyze the data that I have been collecting for months. 

Pauses the story...

*faces the reader* Oh it seems that I forgot to introduce myself.

*bows down to the reader* The name is Gerald and I am your not so typical high school student. In fact, I only have a few friends with me. Why, you ask? Hmm... let's say I'm weird. But oh well let's not talk about me. Let's proceed to the story. *smiles*

Back to the story...

"Hmm... If I do this, this would happen but this has a higher risk so it's a no-no." I talked to myself like a patient from a mental hospital. "It is so hard making plans. You need to make scripts and lines on what to say. You also need to think of the possible responses the target will make and yet again make responses to her responses." Tires down and lays head on the table, "Why did I even start this complicated thing?"

The day then passed without me noticing due to being focused on working out the plans.

I was on my way to school when I saw that girl's bestfriend (By that girl I mean Kristina, the one I confessed a while ago...) Truth be told, actually I don't have feelings for that girl. Who I actually like is her bestfriend, Maria. (Now you ask why I confessed to the other and not her? I dunno I just said I'm weird didn't I?) When I saw Maria she was helping an old woman carry her bag of groceries. (I think you guys already know why I like her *blushes* Oh did I foget to mention that we are friends? though I am not sure she knows what I feel since she thinks that I have a thing for her bestfriend) 

I arrived inside the classroom as if nothing happened but the only thing I know is that my other friends think that Kristina is my crush. Time passed like a normal day but something unexpected is about to happen...

Lunch time came.

I took the stairs and went up to the rooftop. I was about to open the door when I heard people conversing. *sticks the left ear to the door*

"So why did you call me up here?" asked by a very familiar voice, "Don't tell me you are going to confess to me like that idiot from yesterday." 

"Now this makes everything easier..." a man's voice said, " Yes and I am quite confident that you will go out with me." as the stranger said those words I slightly opened the door clear enough for me to see without getting caught. And to my surprise the one confessing is the famous campus hearthrob--- or whatever they call him. 

"Hmm, you have a lot of guts to say those words to me." the lady replied, "Sorry but for someone like you to date with me? Eww! you are not even qualified."

Pauses Story...

*faces the readers* Are you wondering why I chose her to be my diversion? I think some of you know already but for those of you who doesn't get it I'll explain. It is because she won't ever like me. *laughs* I mean come on who would meet her standards... If you know what I mean. Another thing is that she is close with Maria. Since Maria thinks I have a crush on her bestfriend, she is willing to talk with me and I am fine with it  even though it hurts me knowing that she won't see me as someone special. *gives off a sad expression*

Resumes Story...

"What do you mean by that?" Mr. "Hearthrob" angrily asked, "Are you belittling me?" he forms his fist getting ready to punch her.

"Hey, what do you think are you doing? said in a frightened voice by the girl.

Mr. Hearthrob was about to hit the girl.

"No, please stop it!." She then screams at the top of her voice.

Then suddenly I (yes I) intervened, blocking his fist to defend the girl (which I did not expect to do). 

"So, Mr. Hearthrob is that all you can do?" I bravely said(even though I was just bluffing so please guys don't tell him *jokingly smiles to the readers*)

"Don't you know me? I won 3 Martial Arts Tournaments, one for Aikido, another for Karate and the other for Arnis." I confidently added.

Much to my surprise Mr. Hearthrob became afraid and ran away from me.

I reached out my hand to the girl who was sitting down with tears in her eyes saying, "It's fine, he is already gone."

The girl slaps away my hand, rejecting my help and said, "No one asked you to help me, hmph." She then went away as if she was okay but I can sense it that she is scared to death by that incident.

I returned to the classroom as if nothing happened. But after the classes ended, Maria(Yes Maria my Love) suddenly approached me.

"I heard from Krisitina that you helped her earlier." she said with a pretty smile that pierced through my heart, "I'd like to thank you for saving her, I really wish I could help her with that attitude of hers but it seems that it would be difficult for me to handle."

"Well if someone really loves her, he would accept her no matter how good or bad her personality is." I frankly said, "Though it is hard to find someone like that, even I would someday give up on her." 

"I guess you are right but before that day comes, please take good care of her." she smiled and left.

I was wondering why she was able to say those things. I left the room, and yet again Leonard is leaning on the same place.

"It seems that things got really complicated huh?" he laughingly said, "Maria really is going to get the wrong idea." He continues to laugh.

"Don't worry about it." I said with a serious look, "I'll proceed with the next stage of my plan."

Pauses the Story...

So uhm guys. You must be wondering about what I'll do next. Here I will finally make a move on Maria, though I think that she will take of it as a joke though *sighs*

Resumes Story...

Next day came and yes while on my way to school I saw Maria.

"Good Morning!" I greeted with a smile.

'Good Morning Gerald." wearing an angelic smile, she replied.

*Walks together with crush on the way to school*

"Can I ask you something?" I asked her.

"Yes, what is it?" She replied.

"What would be your reaction if someone confesses and courts you?" I bluntly asked

"Hmm... now that you think about it. I haven't taken much about that thought." she answered, "But since you are asking me, I have to say that it would be awkward to have that kind of a situation." she also added, "I think I would not be able to act naturally, I guess?"

"Oh" I instictively replied(Now, how am I supposed to tell her that I love her? *cries deep inside*)

After that the air became silent...

Classes ended without much of a fuss...

"Hey Leonard." I called him

"Yes?" he answered my call, "So is there a problem?"

"I think I should stop this mess I made." I told him with a sigh, "My plans are of no use, I think I should do something natural instead of doing these kind of things.'

" It seems you have realized it my friend." he said with a smile, "You should be yourself." He then threw a piece of candy which I eventually caught. 

The next day came and this time I have no plans with me. The only thing in my mind is to be me and make her happy. 

Pauses Story...

Hmm Hey guys! If you are wondering how I am going to do this thing. Well you will be surprised on how weird I am *laughs* 

Resumes Story...

It was recess when I got to go chat with my friends. We were eating our snacks that time when I noticed that Maria and Kristina were talking. However, at that time Maria was not feeling good so I approached the two...

"Is there something wrong?" I asked

"Nothing" silently she said.

"Gerald, help me bring Maria to the clinic." Kristina said, "She is having a very high fever."

I then placed my hand on her forehead and got burned from the warmness of her body temperature.

"This is not definitely normal." I told them, "I am going to carry you to the clinic."

I carried her on my back with Kristina assisting me to the clinic. Then something brought by chance came. The nurse and doctor are on leave on that day. Luckily, I read medical encyclopedia so I have quite a good background about these things. I asked Kristina to get somethings. I treated Maria and since her fever cooled down, I told Kristina to go back to the classroom and tell the others that I would be guarding her. 

"Hey don't do anything suspicious to her got it?" she told me directly.

"Why would I? I replied.

And so she went back leaving the two of us behind. While looking at her sleeping face, I remembered the time when I actually realize that I like her.

Pauses Story...

*looks at the readers* Do you want me to tell you about that time? If yes read if not go and proceed to the Resume Story part *laughs*

Actually, it was on the first day of second semester. I was on my way to the classroom when she greeted me. She was *imagination interrupts* but anyway. That day she helped someone and that guy and that gal. But I guess that you can't cope up with my mind so lets resume the story

Resumes Story...

Time passed and I didn't notice that I fell asleep. By  the time I woke up, I saw Maria watching me with a smile. 

"Uhm, sorry I fell asleep." I flusterly said

"No its nothing, actually I am thankful for what you have done for me." she replied, "What time is it already?'

*looks at the watch* "It's already 5pm." I answered.

"Oh, I think I should go now it's getting late." she said with a worried look

"Are fine going home alone? I could go with you if you don't mind." I said in concern.

She opened the door and said, "Yes." 

I was alone in the clinic when suddenly Kristina arrived.

"Uhm.. Thanks..." she shyly said with a cute face

"Thanks for what?" wondering about it I asked

"For helping my friend..." she replied.

"It was nothing though..." I said.

"I think I should go now." She smiled truely for the first time at me. Then she went home...

When I went out of the room, I saw Leonard waiting for me.

"It seems that you got double of what you are asking for." he smiled at me.

"Huh? What do you mean by that?" But he left by the time I asked him.

The next day came and little did I know that I would make a very difficult decision that would make my life go to another direction.

I arrived at the classroom, begand to arrange my things on my desk when I suddenly and to my surprise found two letters requesting me to stay behind after classes. I asked Leonard on what to do but he only said that I should just wait until the time comes. Without much of a choice I waited and then time came...

I was alone inside the room when suddenly Kristina went inside. She then approached me while wearing a shy face.

"Uhm... I have something to tell you... Actually... I..." she nervously said. "LIKE YOU" with all her strength she said those words that I least expect to hear from her.

"Hey, what did you just say?" I asked confirming what she told me.

"I said---" before she could finish Maria then came inside.

"Oh, Kristina why are you here? she asked

"Uhm nothing... I picked up something I left." Kristina answered

"Can I talk to Gerald for a moment?" Maria said to Kristina

"Sure." she said as she went to the corner of the room.

Maria then approached me.

"I didn't know that you are the one I love." she said to me with sincere eyes, "I thought that you were just a friend of mine but when I was looking at you taking good care of me that day I..."

Pauses Story...

Now this thing my friends is a hard one... who would have thought that there will be a double confession this time... I don't even know how to react on this one *wonders*

Resumes Story...

*in state of shock* "..." I remained silent...

Kristina overhears the story and went to Maria. She whispered something and that made a smile in their face...

Kristina went to the Front Door and Maria went to the Back Door.

Maria then said, "I heard from Krisitina that she also likes you. Now let's play a game."

Kristina added, "Who would you choose? Maria?" "Or Kristina?" Maria continued.

They said, "You could never get out of here unless you choose one of us, if you have made your decision open the door behind the one you have chosen."

"What have I done to make this happen to me?" I muttered to myself, "Now I need to choose between these two girls who I have feelings for...."

Now I have to open one of the TWO DOORS.
