Chapter 9

After analyzing the new title, "Digital Health Bar," that gave him a powerful ability, Ceceada took a deep breath and turned his attention to the corpse of the tiger.

Whoosh!

Ceceada's body looked like it disappeared from the initial position like a popped bubble, leaving behind the blood stains and brain matter that was sticking on his body and his robe due to inertia.

His body cleanly reappeared several meters in front of the dead tiger, its eyes half-opened yet dull and lifeless- indicating the instantaneous death or lost of consciousness of the tiger!

On top of its head is a see-through small, bloody hole that can fit Ceceada's leg. This is the hole that Ceceada bore through to instantly kill the giant tiger, with some smoke can still be seen escaping the hole!

Below its humongous head is a puddle of blood that is occupying more and more area as it flowed through from the hole to the ground.

Ceceada closed his eyes then bowed in front of the tiger, silently thanking it for bringing up a good fight.

He then looked at the tiger again and one of the rings on his finger shone momentarily, and then the tiger's body slowly turned into white specs of light as it slowly entered the glowing ring!

[Ding! Wait! I have an offer! Host, please check the shop now!]

The system hurriedly said in panic which surprised Ceceada a bit, as he isn't used to hearing the system like so.

The shop?

Ceceada understood what the system had said and the ring's suction force of the white specs of light suddenly disappeared. The ring then 'puked' all the white light and the lifeless body of the tiger suddenly appeared again to its original location.

'Can I buy something on the shop now?' Ceceada asked in his heart because he never forgot the existence of the shop function of the system that he just unlocked a few hours ago on Hannah's home.

However, the problem is that when he left and tinkered with the shop function, he found out that although there are countless, or even infinite amount of things that he could buy, he can't buy any of them yet as there are certain hidden requirements that are yet to be fulfilled to buy anything.

Maybe I can buy now?

He immediately willed to enter the shop function in his mind and saw various things that he could buy in the future, yet almost of them are dim and have a chains wrapping around them, indicating that he didn't fulfill the hidden requirements yet.

Some of the products required him to reach certain realms, acquire certain amount of points, do a certain action, etc.

However, none of them actually show the specific realm, specific amount of points, and the certain action that he need to do or fulfill, which made him helpless.

Right now, he can see the only thing that he can buy right now on the skill section. Unlike the others below it, it is lit up and unchained- indicating that he can now buy it.

[Skill: Cultivation Thief (Unable to upgrade)]

He can see that just right under the name of the descriptionless product, there is a single requirement to buy it with a check mark on its side:

(REQUIREMENT: Attempt to store the corpse of a cultivator with certain amount of mana being emitted from it.)

"Cultivation Thief, huh? It sounds self-explanatory," Ceceada muttered under his breath as he can't find the description anywhere.

"System, tell me the description of this skill," He asked the system when he failed to find a description from the interface on his mind.

Although, he have a certain idea on his mind on what might the skill suggest, He wanted to be sure and not just rely on his hunch, so he just directly asked the system.

[Unfortunately, the system doesn't have any permission to fetch the description of the skill from the database. Please buy the skill so that the system can fetch the skill description for the host!]

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

Ceceada heard this in his mind and although a bit annoyed by such restriction, he didn't nudge the system further; knowing that the only way to see the description is to buy the skill.

'I probably fulfilled its requirements by trying to absorb this tiger,' He said in his heart when looking at the single requirement that he had already fulfilled- that is trying to store the corpse of cultivator with certain amount of mana being emitted from it.

Although he stored the corpse of the beast and cultivators earlier while traversing the Dyst forest, they probably didn't meet the certain amount of mana being said by the skill requirement.

It is probably because the most of the mana from them already had already leaked on the atmosphere, that's why he didn't get to fulfill the requirement much earlier.

He then shook his head and smiled. At least, he can now buy something from the shop.

Since it is the only requirement to buy the skill, it also indicated that he doesn't need to use any points to buy it!

Who wouldn't want a free skill?

"I want to buy it," Ceceada enthusiastically ordered the system while trying to guess what the skill, "Cultivation Thief" could possibly be.

[Ding! Congratulations for the getting the "Cultivation Thief" skill!]

[When using the Cultivation Thief skill, the host will instantly sacrifice all the remaining cultivation of the subjected dead cultivators (All the corpses should be in a single isolated space). Instantly after that, the host will get system points accordingly. Cooldown: One use per day.]

The moment he read the information, he intuitively understood the description in an instant, feeling that he had already learned of such skill since he was born. What the system implied is that he can store the cultivators corpses in a ring or any isolated space. Once inside, he can use the "Cultivation Thief" skill to squander their years of hard work and turn it into points!

"This..." When the information entered Ceceada's mind, he almost didn't believe that such skill just fell to his hands...

With another such power skill in his arsenal, he don't need to sacrifice his own cultivation anymore!

He will be basically using other cultivators' lifetimes worth of hard-earned mana for his own personal use...

In just two days, he learned various skills. Each of the skills are enough to cause wars to occur when someone learns and spreads the existence of such skill.

Just the thought of having these skills made him feel like he is dreaming.

Ceceada smiled and immediately started storing the tiger on the ring that he 'got' from Auster, afraid that it might leak more mana if he let it say here any longer.

Auster's ring is special because it can keep the mana of the corpse. Thus, it can preserve the immense mana of the tiger!

When he is storing the tiger earlier, he is trying to store it in another ring where it will cause the tiger's mana to dissipate to the atmosphere while being transferred, this is the most probable reason why the system prompted him earlier to immediately stop the act of transferring the corpse to another rings.

While the tiger's body is being transferred inside Auster's ring, Ceceada is exploring the ring in his mind and is quickly transferring all the items of the the ring to his other rings, making space for the transfer of the giant tiger.

If one can see inside the rings, one might notice that there are no visible walls, not even colors or darkness, it's just complete ineffable nothingness beyond the isolated space. However, the space that can be occupied is like a white cube that makes it look different from the nothingness around it.

After a while, the tiger's corpse is now completely inside the ring's isolated space, taking up almost ninety percent of the ring's space.

Next to the corpse is the legendary red sword that Ceceada looted from Auster. Next to that is some cultivation pills, healing pills, or other pills that contain easily dissipating mana on it. Thus, Ceceada kept these in the ring.

He just kept the sword in the same ring because he felt like it and it doesn't take much space in the ring.

Ceceada then prepared to use the skill, "Cultivation Thief" on the corpse's tiger. He looked at the ring which contained the corpse, then willed himself to activate the skill.

[Ding! The corpse's cultivation is converted to the summation of (900, 800, 700, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200, 100) system points!]

[Points: 4830]

All the cultivation experience from level 9 to 1 are immediately converted to system points!

Instantly, with his mind that is focused on the space inside the ring, he can see the corpse of the tiger disappearing immediately, as if it didn't exist in the first place.

Ceceada smiled when he saw his points skyrocketing in an instant, feeling the urge to increase his physique to Mid Basic Physique for two-thousand points!

Low Basic Physique geniuses can already invoke the jealousy and envy of High Mortal Physique geniuses. How about the next level, Mid Basic Physique?

However, after thinking a bit for a while, Ceceada fought the itchy urge and decided to check the shop first to see if there are products that he can now buy.

[Ding! Unfortunately, you will not be able to buy anything for a week because the system is currently on restock mode.]

When he tried to open the system, there is a cooldown preventing him to buy for a week due to 'restocking,' making him laugh at the futile excuse of the system to replace "cooldown."

If that's the case...

Ceceada then just ignored it and proceeded to think of his initial plan, upgrading his physique to Mid Basic Physique!

"Upgrade my physique!" Ceceada excitedly shouted in the forest, not caring if anyone hears him or not!

[Congra-]

[Poi-]

Bang!

Whoosh!

A loud explosion occured from Ceceada's body, causing shock waves to escape for a kilometer, destroying all the trees near him to ashes in an instant!

Ceceada didn't even hear the system prompts anymore because he suddenly felt like his mind is exploding with absolute euphoria at this moment, not knowing of the huge changes happening in his physical body!
