So, I'mma be completely, I don't know what I'm doing next. I keep considering how I'm going to bridge what I've got now with the next major plot point, but I don't entirely know how. I keep grasping at new ideas, but I don't really know if any of them work. I'm considering taking a break from SA and writing something else for a while. It might be an issue of burnout, and in my experience, when I've run out of ideas on Sacrificial Ascension, it's suddenly really fun to work on other ideas. I've got a ton of book plots shoved into my head at this point. I've got one book's worldbuilding like 25% done and another's like 50% done. All I really need to do for the latter is work on minor details and factions, as well as complete a dimension that will honestly be pretty boring and not have much special to it. Just so you know, the only planning I had in place for SA was (most of) the system, Khaos, the character's progression, Harkemth, a little bit about the cave, and the fact that I knew that God and Azathoth would exist. So in other words, I've got more done for those two than I have for SA even now. I don't know if this break that I'd be taking would be focused on writing either of those, though. They're really interesting, but I think I'm going to save them for when I've got more experience writing and planning books. I've put a lot of work into them, so I only want to write them when I know it's perfect. I'm going to open up the Discord to everyone now. Come tell me what you think about this idea.
