As I slowly open my eyes, I found myself staring at a pitch red sky, making me wonder if I was in hell or if this is the other world I was sent to. Slowly sitting up, I instantly felt something off with my body in multiple places, which confused me, causing me to reach towards those places.
First, just above my butt. Reaching there, I could instantly feel something I shouldn't have, and by it's leathery feeling and the place it is at, I can firmly say I have a darned tail that seems to belong to some kind of demon or something.
Next, just below my shoulders on my back, I could feel two pairs of wings that I didn't even need to touch since I can actively move them like I would with my arms and legs. Even though I am sitting, I somehow managed to make myself float slightly in the air while still sitting, which was an interesting experience.
Finally, on my head there are two horns on either side of my head, and from the shape I felt while touching them, I assume they look like some sort of goat or bull horns.
Finally, I realized what exactly I was and where I probably am. I am for certain some type of demon, which is now possible since I am in a fantasy world, and the place I am at is probably the demon realm or something, which is why the sky is blood red instead of blue.
'Right, there is that system thing the glowing dude told me about, so I just need to think about it and it will appear, he said?' I thought while thinking of it.
Hello, Host. I am the System granted to you by the Higher Being, or "Glowing White Dude" as you would call him. The System will allow you to level up by killing others to earn experience. You can gain experience from killing humans, elves, beastman, dragons, undead, demons or just monsters and beasts around the world. Leveling up will grant you 5 Stat Points which you can use to increase your stats, which in turn make you stronger. The way to see your stats and level is to think 'Status' in your head, like you did earlier.
Hm, so that's what the glowing dude meant when he said it will appear in front of me in the form of a transparent screen. This blue screen is indeed barely visible, and he also said that only I can see it, which will help from other people seeing it.

Hm, so that is all it shows, huh. Well, it shows what is needed. So I am a demonkin, which is what I thought. Still, I can't tell if my stats are good or not, but my vitality is much higher than my other stats, is that a demonkin thing?
Host, you can also check your Skills using the System. In a way just like with the Status, just think 'Skills' and your skill list will pop up, showing you all your current skills.
'Huh, I didn't expect that. I wonder if skills are like what you have mastered or something?' I thought while thinking about skills.

Tough Body: Your body is extremely tough due to being a demonkin, so the damage you take from attacks will be recuded greatly.(Example: A normal person had a sharp sword cut through their arm from a strong human knight, he would probably lose his arm. While for you the knight will only be able to cut into your arm deeply, not cutting it off.

'Huh, that's useful. I didn't know the system could tell me what the skills do, but that helps me a lot. Not knowing what the unknown skill can do is annoying, but whatever. Still, being able to fly whenever I want with my wings is nice, and the tough body makes me take much less damage, which would of been nice in my old world since I wouldn't of died during that battle.
I suddenly twisted my head to the right, staring straight at the distance. Seeing something rushing towards me, I squinted at it to see what it was, but all I could tell was that is was quite big, probably 10 or so feet tall, and it looks like a bull. Seeing it charge at me, I couldn't help but scoff at it since this is probably one of those mindless monsters or beasts the system told me about, which means it will just have basic instincts, which makes fighting it so much easier.
Readying my claws, and yes I have claws, I just found out that I can bring them out and put them away whenever I want. With my claws out, I stand in a basic stance with both my arms in front of my body, my claws pointing towards the beast running at me.
Once it is in range and about to smash into me, I nimbly dodge to the left by twirling, slashing my claws alongside the neck of the beast with my right hand, my claws easily cutting through it's flesh, causing it to stumble a bit further before falling to the ground, seemingly dead, but I know it isn't dead just yet.
Walking over to it, I once again slash with my claws, stabbing them into the skull of the beast from behind, only feeling a slight resistance once I hit it's skull, which amazed me at how sharp my claws were. They were much stronger than the sword I used in my last life surprisingly, and it was very sharp.

Huh, 72 experience just for killing something this weak? Is it because I have my experience in my last life from all those bloody battles, or is just just because demonic beasts and the like are weak or something? Well, I won't be complaining anytime soon since it lets me get stronger faster if they are weaker. Just one kill and I only need another 28 experience to level up.
Still, I can't help but feel hungry while looking at this dead bull like demonic beast. I have eaten plenty of raw animals I have killed in my last life, so them being raw and bloody doesn't bother me at all, in fact I somewhat enjoy raw meat like this more than when it is cooked. Well, that might be why I am a psycho, haha!
Using my claws, I make quick work of the demonic beast's body in a few minutes, cutting it all into small pieces I can eat to fill myself up, which I quickly do. It only takes me a few minutes to eat everything, which is faster than it normally would when I am not rushing myself due to it being dangerous near me, which is probably due to me being a demonkin.

Huh? Wait, is this unknown passive skill of mine something that will let me turn the stuff I kill into more experience when I eat them? If that is true, hahaha, I will be able to level up so fast! Let's check my status then.

Hm, it seems my experience needed to level up doubles each time, but that doesn't matter too much. If it was before I found out I had this awesome passive skill that lets me get double the experience I would from just killing stuff by eating them, I would be a bit annoyed, but this is fine. Hm, lets put 3 stat points into strength and the other 2 into agility.
Still, to be able to get experience by eating what I killed is amazing. With this, I will be able to get stronger much faster. While killing something like this demonic beast would be easy, I most certainly am not that strong in this world yet. Just the fact that there are dragons in this world means it is dangerous, not to mention that there is magic from what I recall the glowing dude telling me, which means that someone could randomly throw a fireball or something at me without me expecting it, which can be dangerous.
Well, if this place is the demon realm like I assume, I won't run into any humans here unless they are suicidal or something, which is good for me since I am still weak and any humans that do come here will be much stronger than me, that is for sure.
Well, I guess it is time to explore and find more of these demonic beasts to kill so I can increase my level quickly, so I can survive if something stronger attacks me.
