Jessica first made her debut in Attack On CERN, chapter 18 titled 'Road To Redemption'.
In that chapter, she was a hardworking server in a diner on Union Street in Beacon City, the Mecca of futuristic cities. The year is 2031 and megacities are a thing. But in every megacity, there was at least one inner-city community, and it was in one of these inner-city squalors that Jessica spent most of her life back and forth. A hell hole called the Gutters, working her ass off trying to make ends meet for her and her teenaged sister, Laurel. But she didn't let this bother her or get her down. She always put her best foot forward and as a server, she did her best to meet and even exceed her customers' expectations.
But everything changed when she served her, a young estranged Japanese woman who looked to be in her late twenties. She sat in a booth by herself, staring through the raindrop infested windows with disappointment on her face. That same night Jessica got into a fight with an old boyfriend of hers. When things were about to get worst, this mysterious woman stepped in and jammed a stiletto heal right through his hand, nailing him onto the booth table. Through this unexpected act, she showed Jessica great courage and strength to stand up to those who would belittle her. That night a hero was born in her heart and her name was the Stiletto.
