CONFRONTATION PART 2

CONFRONTATION PART 2

"Please, you must see reason. This is tearing our family apart!" Carlisle pleaded, desperation clear in his voice.

"Family?" Rosalie repeated with disdain, her expression cold. Carefully placing Nyx's head down, she rose slowly, her movements deliberate. She stepped forward, positioning herself protectively before Esme and the others. "We haven't been a family in a long time. You favor Edward and Jasper, using the rest of us only when convenient for you. We're nothing more than tools to you. Well, no more."

"More lies to justify yourself," Edward sneered, his voice dripping with venom. "You're just saying this because you want to run to your mate."

"No." Rosalie shook her head firmly, her golden hair shimmering in the dim light. "I've been planning to leave for a long time." She sighed, her voice heavy with emotion.

"Please," Carlisle begged again, his tone softer but no less desperate. "If you're unhappy, we can change things. I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep, Carlisle," Esme interjected sharply, her eyes narrowing.

"Let's just kill them," Edward suggested with a sinister smirk, taking a threatening step forward.

"No!" Carlisle barked, raising his hand to stop him. "All I ask is that you reconsider."

Rosalie stared at Carlisle, her patience waning. "No," she replied firmly, her tone final. She had endured enough.

Carlisle sighed heavily, his shoulders slumping. "We could be a formidable coven if you stayed. But if you insist on leaving... then go."

Rosalie hesitated, suspicious of his sudden leniency, but began to step away, moving back toward Nyx.

Suddenly, Carlisle's voice rang out, cold and filled with anger. "Kill them."

"My pleasure," Edward hissed, his eyes black as coal. His claws and fangs extended as he lunged toward Rosalie, who knelt protectively by Nyx.

Before Edward could reach her, a figure appeared in a blur of movement. Isabella appeared and intercepted him, her hand locking around his neck with an iron grip. Her blue eyes glowed with a dangerous light as she squeezed, cutting off his air supply. Beside her, another figure, her mother Lilith, wielded a sword that glinted ominously. With a single swing, Lilith severed Jasper's legs at the knees, sending him crashing to the ground, blood and venom pooling around him.

"What's going on here?" Isabella demanded, her voice ringing with authority. She could feel her mate's pain and anger coursing through her.

"Who the hell are you?" Carlisle stammered, stunned by the newcomers' swift and brutal intervention.

Isabella ignored him, turning to Rosalie. Her expression softened as she addressed her mate. "Rose, my love, look at me," she said gently, still holding the struggling Edward in her grip.

Rosalie's voice trembled as she pointed to Edward. "He killed Nyx."

Isabella sighed and glanced at the lifeless form of Nyxshade. She extended her free hand toward the creature, and its body dissolved into black mist, flowing into her palm. "Nyx will be fine, my love," Isabella reassured her.

Rosalie got up and went to Isabella's side."Promise?" Rosalie asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Promise," Isabella replied kissing Rosalie's forehead. Then, turning her gaze to Edward, she shook him violently in her grasp. "So, this is why Nyx was hurt?" she asked coldly.

"Yes!" Rosalie snapped, her anger flaring.

"Ok." Isabella tossed Edward aside like a rag doll and flicked her hand. Instantly, his body froze mid-air, suspended in an invisible grip.

"Put me down!" Edward screamed, his voice shrill with fear.

Isabella rolled her eyes. With a wave of her hand, Edward's legs and arms suddenly detached from his torso, falling to the ground with a sickening thud. His screams of agony filled the air.

"Please have mercy," Edward cried.

"Mercy?" Isabella scoffed, laughing darkly. "You don't know who you're talking to. We don't do mercy." Her glowing eyes bore into Edward's, her voice a hiss. "Let this be a warning. If I ever see you near my mate or anything that's mine, I will burn you from the inside out. Do you understand me?"

Edward nodded frantically, his face pale with terror. "I...

"You can't do this!" Carlisle protested, cutting what Edward was about to say.

Isabella turned her gaze to him, eyes brightening with a sinister smile on her face.

Carlisle's voice trembling as he clutched his chest in pain, he fell to his knees, gasping. Feeling like his chest is on fire.

"Allow him to speak," Isabella said dismissively, releasing Carlisle from the invisible fire burning inside of him. "I want to hear his words."

"Why don't you just kill him and be done with it, child?" Lilith interjected, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.

"Oh, I will," Isabella replied, her smile sinister. "But not yet." She turned back to Edward, her voice icy. "I'm waiting for your answer, boy."

"Yes!" Edward gasped, his voice cracking with fear.

"Good." Isabella released him, letting his head hit the ground with a dull thud.

"Edward!" Carlisle cried out, rushing to his dismembered son.

Jasper, still immobilized, desperately tried to reattach his legs.

Isabella turned back to Rosalie, her expression softening. "Let's go home, Rose. You're not staying here with them."

"I was trying to leave when they stopped me," Rosalie explained.

"I'll want details later," Isabella said, brushing a stray lock of hair from Rosalie's face.

"Wait! What about us?" Emmett called out hesitantly, his voice betraying his nervousness.

"What about you?" Isabella asked, raising a brow.

"That's Emmett," Rosalie explained softly.

Isabella scrutinized him for a moment before relenting. "Fine. Take your things." She gestured toward the suitcases on the ground.

"Us too?" Alice asked nervously.

Isabella sighed as Rosalie kissed Isabella on her right cheek, "It's ok, this is Alice and Esme can they come with us too?"

"Fine," Isabella said exasperated As they gathered their belongings, the group vanished in a swirl of black smoke,

leaving behind a broken and defeated coven.
