Terms you need to know

Android: Androids are robots that do service to humans. They act as assistants in the home and in work and have taken over many service jobs.

Arena: The SCOPE arenas are underground arenas all over the world that can be accessed through alleyways. There are usually around 50-100 in every country that allows SCOPE, which is around 60.

Atlantis: An underwater kingdom and palace.

Avatar: A game avatar is the player's form inside of the game. Most of the time, a SCOPE avatar is usually resemblant to the actual player.

City of Ruins: A post-apocalyptic city overrun by vines and zombies.

Championships: The championships that take 50-60 top players from that region to compete in a huge SCOPE competition to win money, status, and recognition. These can be regionally, nationally, and even internationally.

Disk: A SCOPE disk is the player's personal symbol and one that they use during games. These are what players try to get from other teams.

Island of Dragons: An island with a huge mountain completely inhabited by dragons.

Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings.

Independent SCOPE team: These are SCOPE teams that are established but not official. They don't draft but rather they just play all the time.

Official SCOPE team: Official teams are teams that have been specially chosen by gamemakers or have won a championship. Official teams can have more than 5 members and draft them, but only 5 of the many members they have can play at once.

Persona: A player persona is the player's name for their avatar.

Power-up: Power-ups can help a player enhance gameplay and add extra features. There is a variety of them. These can either be collected during gameplay or bought at the SCOPE market.

SCOPE: A VR MMOPORG played in underground arenas all over the world. The goal of the game is to make it to the side of the other team and take their disk before they take yours. They are played in different virtual worlds and in teams of 5. It stands for Simulated Cyberplay from Ontological Personified Experience.

SCOPE Inventory: Where players' yeon count, power-ups and weapons are all stored. They can be accessed by clicking on the yellow ring on their SCOPElenses.

SCOPElenses: The clear game visors that allow players to see the virtual world.

SCOPE market: A designated place in an arena where players can stock up on things for their avatar or the gameplay

SCOPE team: A full SCOPE team is 5 members. 5 members qualify for a championship. You can have teams of less than that and even play solo, but you don't qualify for championships. The only official roles are Captain and sub-player if you have a 6th person.

SCOPEverse: The universe of all the created SCOPE worlds.

Yeon: The currency of SCOPE.
