Two weeks have passed since I had reincarnated into this body, I had explore my immediate surroundings in this whole two weeks and also came to the realization that my grow spurt was a bit higher than the normal average human, I was a bit taller now, from when I had hatch, if you ask me I look like a 4 o 5 year old kid in height (102 cm).  I had notice a few things, one of them was my wings, that’s right I had prioritize putting attention to my wings because you know I wanted to fly, I had four wing type of things, just like a cockroach, two of them were  my outer wings, and I notice this were different from my inner wings, my outer wings I could manipulate them to be hard, or soft, it was rather convenient, I had come to the conclusion that while I had similarities, I also had differences from roaches, this being one of them, at the moment I was using them as an adventure´s coat to cover myself in a soft mode, sadly they just cover my back, and in hard mode I could use them for defense, while below them I was hiding my transparent wings, I would take a guess and say that my inner wings were the source of lift force or propulsion for my flight, but at the moment, I was not able to fly, I needed more practice.

 During this two weeks something I was not expecting happen, while I had put more attention to flight, the most convenient of my current abilities whether it be for hunting, fleeing or just exploring was my speed, this came as a surprise to me, while other people would come to this logical conclusion I was not an insect freak or fan of insects, so my knowledge on them was not that extensive, back to the topic, yeah I was fast, incredibly fast, this had come in handy in the past weeks, in this past two weeks I also focus on my two primary goals, food and exploration, the first one was cover rather quickly, food was easy to find in this forest, I had thought that the forest was small, to my surprise it was rather large, this was a good thing, it provided me with many opportunities for hunting or picking up fruits and stuff of that source, I also notice that my food intake was not necessarily a big issue, my weight was rather light, thus my food intake was not necessarily a large one, I hunted a rabbit in my fifth day and found out I was unable to finish it, by the way I caught it running, yeah like I mentioned before I was that fast, I was also a omnivore no surprise there, as for my second goal exploration ,this one was a bit complicated, up to this point I have being able to cover a few kilometers in my surroundings, that’s when I found out I was fast, I had bump into a panther cat type of beast by accident, and well I made a run for it scare out of my wits, at the end I ended up running a few times from different type of beast in the last few days, I notice a major disadvantage while exploring and running one of them was that while being fast, I was also very vulnerable, I notice this while running from a huge boar that came up to me, it was faster than any previous boar I had seen from a far, and well what can I say I was a fourteen days old, I had to run right? And guess what happen? I trip, yeah, it seems being fast does have it disadvantages, this being one of them, I trip and hurt myself, by the way, it was nothing major, I bump into a rock at the time and got hit in my rib area, fortunately I had my cinnamon armor in that area, I honestly don’t know what its call in insects like I said I was not a insect expert in my previous life much less a cockroach one at that, but I call it armor and this protected me to some extent, so it was nothing major, but it did left a pretty good bruise and experience.

While exploring during the last two days of this past two weeks I had ventured a little bit more far, from my usual hiding place, having more trust in my current survival abilities, I came upon a road, this was a dirt road and from the looks of it, it was use for travel, you could see wagon tracks and horse tracks on it. I had stay close to the road for those past two days, and on the second day, a caravan pass by, the caravan was rather small, it had 4 horses each wagon and a total of 4 wagons, they were traveling at a decent pace, and from the looks of it they were heading to a far place from where they had come from, this was implied by the amount of horses on the caravan, the more horses the less a horse gets tired and thus a more decent pace and the longer it could travel I think right? Well I am not too sure about that, but what I pick up from this caravan while observing them was, and this also almost completely confirm my theory was that this was not earth, the people on the caravan were wearing mediaeval type of clothing, adults and kids, and the people protecting the caravan, were wearing armor on them kind of like a knight, but not fully cover, while on their waist I could see iron swords, others had maces and axes on their backs, and a few fellows had daggers on their  waist, but the daggers were more common, I think even the women had daggers strap to their waist. The woman had long skirts with shirts on the top and some had hoods or lady like hats, and the men had simple trousers with leather boots, and simple shirts, some wearing a vest on top. The adventures or guards were a bit differently dress, but mainly on their equipment and armor as well as weapons, this difference in clothing made me realize that this was not earth, I was pretty sure no one on earth dress like this anymore, apart from that I also notice a rather strange fellow with in that caravan, it had a staff and a different style of coat and a pointy hat, like the ones magicians wore in anime everything else he wore was pretty much the same to the others with a slight difference but nothing noticeable or distinguishable aside from the hat and coat, his age was around thirty years old, and had this atmosphere of command and weariness to him, this immediately made me assume that this world had magic in it, this would also support my theory that some of the beast in this forest had magic, I had yet to confirm this since I have not seen one use magic , but some creatures in this forest gave me the feeling that they had another type of power not clearly seen by the eye, I was thinking that my current living area was a magical beast forest.

This is what I was currently doing at the moment, following this caravan while carefully analyzing the party members of it, not going to lie, my attention was mainly focus on the staff bearer for any sudden actions out of the ordinary, I was secretly hoping to see some magic at work to be honest, the reason why I was following the caravan at this point instead of going back to my hiding place and return another day a bit more prepare was for various reasons, one of them was because I wanted to see where this road would lead me to, or how far it went, second reason was because since I had being reincarnated into this world I had yet to see any other intelligent life form, not that I wanted to find any in this forest aside from humans, basically I wanted to interact with humans, I was not the most popular guy back in earth but come on, I was a bit scare being a humanoid roach and in my previously life I at least would see people walking by me, or interact at work, its hard being completely alone in a forest with so many questions, and last but not least, and this I find my most important reason to be following this caravan was, I needed clothes! Yeah, I am currently naked except my back, no surprise there, since well who knows how to make clothes in a forest? Much less with this claw like hands of mine and I was not about to wear a leaf or some other thing in between my thighs, that was a big no no, I mean usually in reincarnation manga’s or novels the reincarnated would be born human or something else, with parents beside him, caring for him or an old teacher guiding him into his or her magical journey while every little need for the most part would be cover by them at the beginning, sure with a few hardships here and there, but not ones about clothing right?  So yeah I am following this caravan hoping to get some clothes, kids clothes or some sort of cloth that would at least cover my nether regions, don’t get me wrong I would love showing them to the lady´s, but I have a four year old child body size, not to mentioned half roach, and is not the most comfortable being naked in a forest when all your life you were used to wearing clothes.   I needed cover and fast, and my plan would be to attack at night, well mainly sneak not much of an attack, I would excel at night, plus with my small child like body I was sure to be able to sneak in, and steal something, don’t get me wrong I don’t like stealing but what options do I have? I could try talking to them, but I wasn’t even sure if they spoke my language or if this worlds language was the same, much less, how words would come out of my mouth I mean I had try speaking before, and found out I was able to, but the way they came out were still a bit weird, I think this has to do with my whole new body internal organs mainly the throat parts, not sure, I should stop worrying and focus, I have already decided I am going to sneak in at night.  This was supposed to be my plan, until the person I was focusing on, started screaming something in a language I didn’t recognize, while his staff was emitting a glow, is that magic) I was asking myself while growing excited, and then the bandits attack.
