Alex expected a peaceful camping trip to enjoy some quiet time. It turned out to be neither peaceful nor quiet. After a drunken stumble he finds himself in what should of been a highly suspicious mushroom circle. Where he finds a highly suspicious stump filled with a highly suspicious golden liquid. Naturally he drinks it, because it looks tasty. It turns out it was tasty. It wasn’t a good decision, however. Now with limited time to complete a ridiculous set of Fairy Rites that have only ever been achieved by legendary sorcerers, Alex has to scrape what little magic he can learn together to not get eaten. And at the end of it? He gets to be the Fairy King. Authors Note: This is the first work i’m actually posting so understandably it’s pretty bad. Anyway if you ignore the fairies i’m aiming for a pretty dark modern fantasy so expect some strong and gory themes. Also Alex swears a lot, just like real people.
