[Wednesday]
There are 5 days left of preparation until the contest begins. Ralts and I used all the time provided by practicing every single second
We usually went to the Pokemon Center to practice and we are currently finishing up his dance routine.
It wouldn't take much longer until we have to work on the special effects and other stuff, all because his dance is relatively simple and I'm an amazing teacher.
Right now, Ralts is working on his clones to make them move more naturally than ever while I researched about the things we needed.
First off is clothes, if we're gonna impress both the judges and the audience, we need to have some proper clothing on us and not just let Ralts be naked.
Second is cosmetics for Ralts to look even better and thirdly are a proper entrance and exit which would sure give us more points from the judges.
Although there might be some more I forgot but one thing is true and it's that, we have a lot of work to do.

[Thursday]
Ralts complained about how many people are staring at him at the Pokemon Center and taking pics so we switched to the beach to practice there.
He says he doesn't like attention but he's here agreeing to practice for a contest. Does he not know a lot of people would watch him perform? Best not remind him.
I also started to look for his outfit at the store and while I did that, I bought some other things as well like ice cream to bribe Ralts to continue practicing.
Even though I managed to buy other stuff, I still haven't been able to find a good outfit today but I'm gonna try searching again tomorrow.
For now, I'm going to teach Ralts the final dance moves and have him finish the whole dance.

[Friday]
We had successfully completed the dance now and we're moving on to the special effects he'd be using.
I bought some confetti which he'd be using at the beginning and at the end of his performance.
He'll be using confusion to control the confetti and form letters and words. It would've been a hard task for him a few weeks ago but with the new confusion trick he'd learn, I think he'd be okay.
That day, Ralts came along with me to help find clothes for him.
I suggested that he or one of his clones would wear a skirt and he reacted by glaring at me the entire time we were shopping. It would've been a fun sight.
Thankfully, we managed to find the right outfit for him. A simple, black, suit vest paired with a light blue shirt.
It made him look like a little gentleman and Ralts seemed to like it too.
We then spent the rest of the day practicing and figuring out what moves to use for our special effects and I wondered if I should buy a tm.
Ralts currently have only six moves and those are, confusion, psybeam, teleport, calm mind, zen headbutt, and growl.
It was pretty small and I blame Ralts's perfectionism for his small move pool, he spent too much time on his current ones that he doesn't even have spare time to learn new ones.
It might be better to just make do with what we have. I'm worried he's gonna play with his new move too much and he'd forget about the contest.

[Saturday]
We're back on the beach, now trying out the confetti I bought.
Annoying as it may have been, Ralts perfectionism had allowed him to move the confetti with ease, not even struggling on how many bits and pieces of confetti there are.
The only time he'd struggle was when he tried to control the confetti while dancing.
It kept slipping away from his psychic hold when he did the more complicated gestures in his dancing routine.
Multi-tasking two different things at the same time is very difficult to achieve and when you try to control hundreds of tiny pieces of paper while dancing at the same time is practically impossible! Well, for a human that is.
The confusion trick helped group up the hundreds of tiny pieces of paper into manageable groups but it still proved to be difficult for Ralts
Along with that, he had to fire low powered psybeams as well into the mix as well.
There's only two days left until the contest begins and we really need to hurry if we don't want to be disqualified.
With that in mind, I brought our lunch along with us to cut down time for looking for a restaurant or going back to the Pokemon Center to eat at the cafeteria.
I would've planned to camp here on the beach as well if not for that it's illegal to do so.
We need to wake up early tomorrow if we want to spend the last day efficiently.

[Sunday]
The last day of preparation has arrived.
We are already at the beach and Ralts is wearing his black suit vest and underneath it is his light blue shirt.
I watched him from the sidelines and I prepared to judge his performance.
He formed 4 clones to his side and he stepped to the front. As the leading Ralts, he first raised his hands and swooped it down, sending forth a ton of confetti he had prepared forward.
It made looking at Ralts and his clones a challenge as the confetti made it hard to see.
The confetti raged on for a few more seconds before parting away and showed a bunch of Ralts forming a straight line.
Then they proceeded with the dance, sending psybeams all around them as they continued and confetti to form shapes above them.
I could see the mistakes Ralts made while they perform but other than a misplacement of some of the confetti or a delayed psybeam.
It was perfect.
After they finished performing, I went and hugged Ralts.
They didn't reject it surprisingly enough and I let go before he started to get annoyed.
Now, we just need to refine it and practice some more and we are finished.
We're going to win this thing.
